The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

Why are there no terpenes in the list of particulates?

These make tobacco and cannabis seem very similar. I think there is much more that sets them apart.

I got that info from Erowid Cannabis Vault. Just look up chemicals in cannabis and tobacco smoke.. Keepem Green

Makes me glad I'm mostly edibles, and thinking about going all out edibles, to be honest Woody. My biggest problem with smoking is remembering to do it and then discovering that "out-of-sorts" feeling is the buzz falling apart.

I have two good vaporizers I could learn to use. Or I could make oil and learn to tack. Haven't tried that yet. It's starting to look intriguing.

It's a challenge for my brain to make the switch from recreational only to a blend of medicinal and recreational. Either way I could reduce the number of times I choose combustion.

It's nice that you care enough to sound the alarm Woody. :hugs: It'll be interesting to see how quickly the consuming public catches on. I suspect it'll be sooner than we expect.

Excellent point lazyfish. They really aren't that similar in effect at all. Still, from a medicinal standpoint, there are better delivery options. From a recreational standpoint, an edibles high can last longer and be more intense. It comes down to what's comfortable for the consumer.

In the end, it's not going to kill you to smoke cannabis, nor will it give you cancer, emphysema, or a stroke.

Lazyfish,,, this was a comparison between the two I guess. They did throw in nicotine in the mix. Guess that's what most people want to know. The list of chemicals in smoke are to numerous to imagine. I wish I could feel edibles Sue. Every once in awhile I get a buzz off them. I mean I get 'alittle' loose off them, but nothing even close to smoking. I know my tolerance is off the charts. Besides have pot on tap since I was a kid, I indulged in the heavier drugs for years. The old saying is get use to the best, you don't feel the rest.. The best is personal choice, but I use to self medicate because no doctor wood touch this Long Haired Biker, that come riding in on a scooter and saying his back was killing him. Even with a metal plate fusion in my neck, total hip replacement, which is a chronic failure, 3 bullet holes and list goes on. They didn't help me,, so I helped myself. Well that was years back,, now I'm just on their script, but to me it's still hard to feel a buzz.. Even smoking it for that matter. Everyone else loves our cookies. Some can only do 1/3 of one. Here I eat 4-5 at a sitting. Kind of sucks..... Well sorry to babble.... No idea why that list isn't more complete. Hey thats one cool site. They go into alot of everything. Good info to. Pain doctors, go figure huh? The tolerance factor presents a challenge for you. It's not like an herbal holiday is an option with all that pain waiting in the wings. Are you using mangoes at all to help clear the receptors? I'd figure there's some chance yours might be a bit cluttered and could stand a good clearing. :battingeyelashes: Lecithin is probably part of your recipe, but if not, that's another pathway for increasing bioavailability, which would include the ability to register more euphoria.

You set my brain clicking there Woody. :laughtwo: No way is anyone in this room going to complain about a ramble or babbling. :battingeyelashes:

Marijuana cuttings humidity level......

Is that one of those little piezo-electric mister disc thingy-ma-doodads?
I hear the can clog pretty quickly. Apparently minerals in the water build up on the disk. They have versions you can clean yourself... or you can buy replacement discs for some. I'll be curious to see how long it lasts.
I've been wanting to make a misting cloner with one.

I bought some little balls that drop in and keep it clean. There's no filter, and now that you point that out I'll keep a close eye on it. It's supposed to make my life and the lives of my plants easier. They look happy so far. I've gotten levels up as high as 65% without the small fan. I'm encouraged.

I was in there admiring Carn1:4

She is a pretty one. :battingeyelashes: I had to start training in earnest though. Every time I open this tent I can hear Cajun saying "Woman, get that plant under control!" :laughtwo:

He'll be happier with this. Lol!

Do you have a good canna butter or oil recipe many thanks Sue

Hello Noodlesp. Make yourself comfortable. I'll catch up later and answer your question. I have some work to finish up first.

Just another bit of water and she's done. :yahoo:

KR, I think I must be the luckiest woman walking around on this blue pearl of ours. :battingeyelashes:

Looks like work. The one thing that doesn't fit in with the Lazy Grower theme I try to adhere to. :biglaugh:

Even a lazy Tead has to break out the sprayer now and then.... tho not often.
Remember those little brass atomizer/sprayer thumb-pump thingymabobs? I'd love to track one down. You just don't see them anymore.

Update... Tead now sees that you were referring to the whole process... not just the sprayer.
Meh.... the previous words stand.

Sue,...what water are you using?

I'm using tap water treated with blackstrap molasses to nutralize the chloramines. It needs a ten-minute sit and then it's good to go.

Out of curiosity... why would one choose to play with soil and water in (apparently) one's front room?
While I occasionally play with a cup or two of perlite in the kitchen sink, this is not something I would consider. One of the ways I stay married....

Well, I don't have to worry about the spousal approval at this point in my life. :laughtwo: The room is open and airy, and the tarp protected the floor and surrounding area. I'm on the third floor with only a small balcony to work on, nothing that would have accommodated building soil, and then there's always the chance I'll be dropping soil down on pedestrians.

When working under these conditions one needs to keep dust down. I started by cutting the bale open and wetting it down to accomplish that goal.

IMG_294118.JPG

This was my chief concern going in. Using the tarp made this job so easy. Not to mention it was such great fun. :laughtwo:

It went better than I anticipated.
