The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

Exterminator here and gone. All the timers were out for less than five minutes. I'm free to drench Carnival. Whew!

Sueeee my friend.....you are a gutsy gal.....ballsy if I dare say that.....you're my hero today! Id be freakin straight the hell out with somebody comin in my flat whilst gardening. Hahaha:bravo: Takes a special kinda fortitude to keep on keepin on. I likkkkeeeesss it! You kick ass friend! Hugsss :volcano-smiley:

:) she knows how :)

Sweet One, now i remembered :thumb:I will Pm you the links, it is from our dear greenflower. and also other sites.
Regarding THC /CBD,I have contradicting info and do not know. I believe they can be used as healing and actually thinking of possible food. ( I will play with my roots when I harvest.

I drenched Carnival. Pictures later. OK, ok, one shot to tide you over. :laughtwo:

I'm taking myself out to dinner. When I return I'm devoting myself to an evening of determining the fine differences between my devilish triplets. Who hits smoothest? Tastes the sweetest? Smells the most attractive to me when I break it up? Gives the biggest punch? All those things that take time and thought. :laughtwo:

I'll catch up later.

I have a good sized patch of aloes planted in my yard.
Will start using it liberally when watering and cloning. A little goes a long way though. Love your thread btw love your experimenting nature. Keep growing those beautiful plants . Have a few plants myself coming along . 2 autos 1mephisto skywalker and 1 dinafem cheese autoflowering. 3 blue mystic from nirvana feminized. And about 10 bagseed from the same bag. Waiting to see the males to cull them when they show. ohhh almost forgot 2 jamaican regular bagseed as well lol. Don't have a thread here as yet though leaving that for when I am ready for an exclusively indoor grow. Wow I am rambling on lol

"carpe diem"

I have that effect on people Islandgrow. :battingeyelashes:

I'm pleased you find my manic experimental nature entertaining. I think it'd be fabulous to have aloe growing in the yard. When I was in Phoenix over the holidays last year I was forever trying to figure out how to smuggle some home. :laughtwo:

After you get the feel for the neighborhood , then it'll be time to think about a journal. I look forward to your launch. There's no better way to get thoroughly immersed in the community.

Love the detail in your reports one day I will be that meticulous. Until then I am what I am . Seizing the day and enjoying the growing.

I forgot we have an exterminator paying a visit today. It's fall and mice become opportunistic. Apparently some have found our building a dry and happy place. No signs in my apartment. They've shown themselves on the other side of the building. There are few connections between the two sides, but there are some. I'm prepared to pull the timers and hide the cords in a matter of seconds. The landlord knows of the tiny closet. No need to hide that.

While I wait I took the time to process the roots from the last three harvests. The first, DDA2, was in the hempy pot. The other two were in LOS pots. Both of these roots had few tiny hairs attached when I wiggled them out of the soil, but in both cases I found tiny roots throughout both pots when I broke them up for recycling. The root ball for DDA3 is still in the no-till with Train Wreck. This is the last run for that soil.

DDA2: hempy, seriously mismanaged by a noobie, under the damaged Advanced DS and then under the MarsHydro 300W panels, harvested at day 67. Surprisingly fragrant, tasty and potent. Defied everything I'd been told about growing with bottled nutrients. Equal to anything grown in my soils.

Early Miss: LOS, under the damaged Advanced that was replaced by the MarsHydro 300W panels, harvested on day 47 (yes, that's early), 17 grams jarred. Delicious, fragrant, and potent. Makes great brownies.

She had a radiant root display. :laughtwo:

DDA4: LOS, in the tiny closet under the Timber Vero240, harvested at day 80. Oh that I had grown this one in fresh soil. Maybe the one coming up behind will surpass expectations.

Look at that tap root! That explains the tiny roots. I love this light. I love this light. A new pot of soil and a new DDA sits under this light waiting for the seedling to get big enough I'm confident it'll have the right nodes I'm looking for. Then it gets its day under this wonderful Timber Vero panel.

Not sure yet what I plan to do with them, but they're all ready when I make up my mind.

...and the first time ever you dipped your toes into hydro of any sort. I mean, granted, you were familiar with your plants well enough, but still... we're impressed. My first hydro attempt was a complete and total nightmarish failure.

Thank you, you gracious man. :battingeyelashes:

I've been thinking about the current hempy and I'm going to scrap her and set aside this Lucas Formula idea for some day when I know what the hell I'm actually doing with hempy. I'll be culling her today. I've been quietly watching Obi and decided I need to start a couple new clones and do this right.

I'll make some cutting this weekend and start anew.

Sorry guys, you lost me to the Devils last night. :laughtwo: I had some nice pictures too. Here, I'll share a couple, but I'll have a regular update later.

I didn't want Duggan to think I forgot about cleaning up all the extraneous trash on Carnival #2. Isn't it wonderful to get that close to your plant?

Trying something new. So far it's not working. The tent's still at 35% humidity. But now we have dappled light. :slide:

Much better. Thanks for the encouragement Duggan. She really needed that.

Yeah...... That would make Doc proud. He'd be happier if she was a healthier specimen.

I'll using this to make a special oil.

Time for some breakfast, now that it's 1 PM :laughtwo: I'll be back later. :ciao:

Forgive me Sue, I'm a few months behind, just popped by to say hi! I hope all is well.

I've missed you. I've suspended any tendency to assume anything was wrong and chose to believe you were completely absorbed in building your slice of paradise closer to your dreams.

But I missed you lots, and it's good to see you again. :hugs:

Dang SweetSue, That taproot meant business! I never thought to take a look at mine but going forward I will without a doubt.

Yeah, it caught me by surprise too. :laughtwo: looks like a parsnip, and made me want to make a pot of soup or stew. Lol!

Welcome to the journal MsSinful. Have to say, I love the user name. I hope you stick around and let us get to know you better. Make yourself at home. :hugs:

I have no fear Scottay. Drives my daughter to distraction. She worries for me. :laughtwo: They didn't go anywhere near the gardens. All my preparation work was simply precautionary, but this is the second time in recent months that I've pulled it off without tearing down. It gives me hope that I can maintain stability.
