The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

So... How does this look to you?
:slide::slide::slide::slide::slide::slide::slide::slide::slide::slide::slide::slide::slide::slide::slide::slide::slide:
Is your computer screen swimming?

Girls look good. I think Emerald just wants to be close to you. :circle-of-love:(whoops, more spinning):hugs:

You are such a delight. Lol! Good grief KR, I'm literally ROTFL. :laughtwo:

Let me kick that buzz back in now before I try Callanetics again. Lol!

I stretched across the bed last night somewhere around 9:30 and woke up at four, so I climbed out of my street clothes and let myself fall back into a deep sleep until around 7:30. It can be disconcerting sometimes to live this wide open, but I'm getting better at letting it flow. I'm gonna get so used to having complete control of my time and my life it's gonna be a challenge to let a man, any man in. Hmmmm....... Leave that thought alone Susan. It's smoke and mirrors.

So I'm trying for Callanetics again this morning, before the four-mile walk. This may be the adjustment I need to make to get the morning schedule locked in. While I'm joyfully blitzed and making my mindful way through my movement meditation let me encourage you all to find your own passion today to create your own flow of joy that you can then share openly with the world.

Get out there people. Be joyful. I insist. :laughtwo: I love you all, you know that? Alright then, don't ever forget it. :hugs:

She's a Two Hit High, this latest harvest of mine. :slide:

I found the little one with the membrane still attached this morning. Delicate extraction methods ensued.

FREEDOM!!!

Hi Sue:

You wrote, "Disregard the curling leaves..."

I notice the downward-curling but otherwise healthy-looking leaves on multiple plants. This happened to some of my plants way back when and I spent a long time looking for a chemical issue but it turned out I simply had my fans blowing too directly downward on my plants and that is what was causing it. I believe in the regular intermittent movement of air for many commonly accepted reasons (pests, strengthening stems, etc.). I personally think the stem strengthening thing is easy to overdo and consequently a lot of folks simply have too much airflow directed down at their plants. From what I can see you are using the same size fan that I use for my grow room but I have at least four times more space. A little air movement goes a surprisingly long way.

All I did was adjust the fan airflow up a little higher. If the fan blows air just above the tops of the plants they still get enough movement but the reverse curl will disappear. I bet that you will notice an improvement in a week.

By the way, I don't know how much of a negative, if any, the reverse curl presents. I just figure any departure from ideal leaf appearance logically can't be good. So if it does concern you, just try adjusting the fan.

Hope your day is great!
Peace, Hyena

So of course I took five. :laughtwo: Doing a lot of giggling right now. *giggle* See? Lol!

The best of the three in color and potency, no contest really. They're all good, in their own ways, and really, the best I've grown, but this one has just the perfect blend of berry and fuel in the smell, the richest color of the three, and hands down the most potent.

Pre-post edit: I didn't make it to Callanetics yet. My day's on hold. Everything can wait until tomorrow. I'll be walking to the store but only because I'll run out of coffee beans if I don't. :laughtwo: Instead of movement, which I will get to, I did this:

DDA4

You bet your ass I'm smiling. Right behind this I have a rolling harvest of Carnivals staring at me. I'm taking a day to celebrate. Don't expect an update, but then again, this DDA4 unlocks a creative muse in me.

I've been thinking about taking the updates to once a week. I'll still post all week, of course. You won't get rid of me that easily. :laughtwo: There are numerous chores and projects running at any given time. I'm just beginning to feel the strain of daily updates. That process takes an enormous amount of time when you insist on expanding the garden and being camera happy. Lol! If I make that decision I think I'll go with Thursday updates. Might start this week and see how it goes.

Why thank you Hyena. What a thoughtful way to introduce yourself. :hugs:  You know, I'd been getting this niggling thought in the back of my mind about the fan for a while now. Let me make the adjustment right now. BRB........

Done! That's a simple adjustment that is likely part of the contributing factors. I believe part of it may be overwatering, since it showed up in both soil types, but it's also made worse by too strong a Brix foliar and overly aggressive fans.

I'm not sure it's going to effect her harvest, other than yield. What this extended cycle appears to be teaching me is if you abuse these plants at some point, and you can tolerate the slowing down in the developmental path, you might well end up with a surprisingly potent harvest.

I'm a nurturing woman, a caregiver to the extreme. My entire life force is geared to making life easier for those in my world, plants included. It's difficult to wrap that brain around the idea of planned and carefully monitored neglect or abuse to enhance development. In many ways it mirrors the path one must take to prepare children for their journey away from our parenting eye. Those times you have to step back and let life slap them so they can learn the valuable lesson, but watching carefully so they don't get damaged in the process.

It's the fine line I'm looking for. So far my guardian angel's been steering me uncomfortably close to it. Lol!

Thank you again for the insight. Stick around. Let us get to know you better.

Hi
The baby opened up like she was screaming feed me
Looks like yo are having a fabulous day with your devils, Enjoy callanetics later :Namaste:

The over watering is an issue we all deal with at some point and toast knows his growing. also the "fan idea" is not a bad one to think about too.

and duggan (+all of you) I will be with you in spirit, only wishing I could be in person:circle-of-love:

My best to date. I'll learn to make them tighter. Potency is off the charts.

The promise of an even better future harvest. New soil, learned training techniques, better control of the light. This should be fun.

Susan...look at her...oh wait ,..that's what your doin.....here woman, have some "Lilly"...:passitleft:
She is coming along nicely. A tip ...get inside and clean her up some...deep inside. Enough off the bottom , but inside the middle ...get rid of all the lil crap, small lil baby branches and any small under developed leaves....out with them! Remember to follow a plan with the Kit directions too. Cheers and keep up the great work Susan. :Namaste:

Yes it is.

Sent from this funny device I carry around and still call a phone even though I hardly ever make calls with it.

Kinda a shame i like cloning my plants to keep em going. Thanks for the reply though. :tokin:
