The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

I'm sorry, didn't mean to step on anyone's toes. Just wanted to show plants I'd grown of the same strains. They're great plants and I wanted to show the end product, what to look forward to.

Good luck with your grows, everyone! :)

It's no worries! You did NOT step on anyone's toes! ;)

Post away the pictures no one here is gonna get hurt feeling, They were totally on topic as Sue loves to learn how others grow the similar strains, learn learn learn with this girl all the time.

Rock On.:welcome:

Yes, I don't think DD will turn red or purple at all. But I was delighted that the Red Poison did. :)

I started growing early this year and come here through 420, but was having problems with this forum until recently. I couldn't sign in so I kind of gave up on it.

You have a lovely garden, and a beautiful mission helping others. My Red Poison has been fantastic for anxiety, it's like taking a Xanax. Now, the Dark Devil is indeed a little devil! She'll make you feel like your head is floating.

Enjoy! .

As noted by Mr. Krip, there's never any problem with someone sharing photos of their grow. You're like a proud papa, and we all understand that. :laughtwo:

Thank you for sharing that the Red Poison works for anxiety. Always good to know.

Are you, by chance, considering a grow journal? What are you following these beauties with? My first DDA, I thought it wouldn't change either. Then, almost like magic, she made the switch. Yours may surprise you yet. How long are you planning to take her?

Daily Update: Wednesday, August 10, 2016

Good evening everyone. Time for a quick update before I dash. The only maintenance was watering the hempy pot.

Let's start in the Kit tent tonight, why not? The Carnivals are now 15 days old. I keep forgetting about that fan.

I'm going to be pleased with her. I'm sure of it. Still a ways to go plenty of time to thicken up.

Off to my walking club. I'll be spreading my joy while with friends tonight, a sweet time I've grown fond of. Only a few more weeks to go and I'll have to find some other way to get involved. Get out there and spread your own joy around now. :battingeyelashes:  I'll be seeing you around the yards after I get home.

:ciao: :green_heart:

There's all this PH adjusting that has to be done Cy. I don't know how growers deal with this on a larger scale without going crazy.

Not that I'm anywhere even close to large scale, I've found the simplest, quickest way is to get someone else to do it.

:)

I just stumbled onto a journal that shows how someone with more talent than I can make the Med GOM shine. This is his specimen at day 60. Geez. :thedoubletake:

IMG_367913.JPG

You can find this magnificent specimen and its companion, an impressive Massive Midget, growing here:

Med Gom 1.0 & Massive Midget In A Chilled Aerogarden With Mars Hydro Reflector LED

I know you guys follow me because you love the passion and you keep hoping I'll translate that into the ability to consistently grow plants like this, or better. :laughtwo: I love you for your devotion. :battingeyelashes:  It's my plan to learn to do just that. I'm just taking longer to get there than the rest of the class because I keep getting distracted. That's not a bad thing, considering the distractions, but it'll be grand when it finally clicks, won't it? :laughtwo:

In the meantime I'm glad we're having so much fun. Somebody else should go and tell CMJJMC2000 what a bad-ass plant he grew.

Dammit, another journal I'm subscribed to and haven't made it to in a few months. I'm sorry CM, it's not for lack of interest, just time.

I'm glad Sue found you though, there's no better call out you could ask for.

Let's give this another try. I have Rapid Rooters this time. Maybe it'll improve my germination rates.

:laughtwo: Delegate. Well done. It's nice that Jay's so cooperative. Lol! It's a nice trade off, he does the heavy lifting and fussing and you document and train. You two have a nice system. I've often meant to ask, does Jay share much of the training with you? My perception has been that you handle most of the training, but I could be wrong about that.

I'm glad I could be of assistance arteekay. Nice how that worked out, isn't it? :battingeyelashes:

I'd argue we both fuss, just he does it with the PH meter and I do it with the plants. I'm such a control freak that I'm sure he's not even really comfortable pulling them out of the tent as I'm hovering like mad and critiquing every move. I second guess his work with the nutes all the time, but I think since he's well aware of the why of it, he accepts it.

That, and it's hard to argue we've been pretty successful with me in the driver's seat. Although that does mean that I'm more responsible and accountable for troubles and struggles.

I'm freshly toasted on some bubble hash, so ... :cheesygrinsmiley:

But this is actually a deeply profound truth, one that I learned some years ago. The one that gets his way is also the one who's responsible for the outcome. Being King has its downside.

Hey Sue, glad to see you are still humming along. I tried a few germination methods but have landed on popping the bean directly in the soil, no soaking or anything. Seems to be the only way I can get them to pop!

Exactly. Thankfully it's Cannabis, so even when I screw it up completely they still survive and produce. Unlike real children, they always end in a harvest rather than years of expensive therapy.

:)

Hiya Sue,

We made some Biobomb brownies yesterday. Thank you so much for the info! The whole pan was devoured last night. Mom, Dad, Aunt, Uncle and BIL. Wiped them out. I came out this morning to bodies all over the place, like a frat party had happened over night.

Now, I love me some Ghirardelli brownie. But lets face it. It's a box brownie. If you want an OMG best brownie for special clients or yourself, try this recipe...

Alton Brown Cocoa Brownies

I've made them several times in the past. OMG is right. Look at the cocoa to flour ratio. If you like the caramel pattern in the Ghir, then get some caramel topping in a jar and do the same.

Use it well and enjoy!

We made some yesterday too!! They are quite good!! My box mix didn't come with caramel, so I totally grabbed the caramel jar out of the fridge and slapped some on there. It had to be just like Sue, ya know. Lol. I will say, I made a double batch, so the oil was made at the same time. I used 1/3 c. Olive oil, and 1/3 c. Coconut oil. I have to be a little different. I'm just now starting to feel them. Yeaaaaah. This is nice! :passitleft:

I love all the pics. It shows me how my grow is SUPPOSED to look! :laughtwo:

Hahaha! Thank you so much for that. Gave me a good chortle. When the Carnivals really get rolling I'll look more like someone who knows what she's doing. The early stages of growth still feel awkward to me. Lol!

Are we gonna lose you to the wonders of bubble hash Graytail? :laughtwo: As a fellow control freak, I can attest to this truth. I have no problem taking blame or responsibility for my decisions. I've always been more comfortable being the one calling the shots. :cheesygrinsmiley:

How long do you wait for them Brix? I've given this last one a week before dropping this new seed.

Exactly. Thankfully it's Cannabis, so even when I screw it up completely they still survive and produce. Unlike real children, they always end in a harvest rather than years of expensive therapy.

Thank you so much. I use the box mix because I'm lazy, but I've been thinking I make better from scratch. I'll check out the recipie for my next batch.

Did you let them all sleep it off and did they clean up their mess? :laughtwo:

Top of the morning to ya Susan, and friends. Everyone have an awesome day....like Sue says...."go out and spread the joy"
Cheers everyone.....:circle-of-love::high-five:

Ahhhh......Duggan, you took the training to heart. That made me smile reeeeallly big. :cheesygrinsmiley: :green_heart:

Thanks so much, guys. :)

I ended up posting my grows at another forum, but the one I started here prior to login issues is still going, sorta... the mother plant didn't make it, but her clone is glorious. I'll get the link, but it's not that great a journal, since I couldn't access it for a long while.

The Red Poison is really great. Very relaxing and not debilitating, you can go on with your day, just anxiety-free and very relaxed.

By the way, I'm not a man, I'm a woman. ;)

How long I'm going to let her go? Probably anothrt week or so before I start flushing, which I do for a week to 10 days in fresh water, I grow hydro.

Everyone is looking awesome, and I love the babies. Also hate when seeds don't pop, but sometimes they're a little slower and it pays to wait, I've killed a few slow one trying to check on them. . .
