The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

I did not do the update? :thedoubletake: Dang! Where have I been?

Daily Update: Wednesday, April 27, 2016

Alright, let's start out in the flowering tent.

image11120.jpeg

She's so pretty. She's huge, is what she is. You can't see the seedling, but the Crossroads was showing green when lights went out. A good sign. On the right, CBD Critical Cure. (Day 77, Flip + 12 days)

image11121.jpeg

Such a sexy profile. Tell me that center one doesn't look like she's saying "Ta Daaaa!" Lol!

image11122.jpeg

Into the veg tent.

image11123.jpeg

These guys need relocated. Strawberry Blue is now at day 15, Bubba Kush at day 14 and Carnival, front and center there, is at Day 10.

image11124.jpeg

The veg tent, with new Super Cheese addition. The Auto Jack Herer comes down tomorrow at 8 AM after 77 days of beauty.

image11125.jpeg

Some close-ups.

image11128.jpeg

image11129.jpeg

image11130.jpeg

The Strawberry Blue will go in right behind her.

The Dark Devil Auto (Day 75) Yeah, I feel the same way. Just enjoy. There're a couple pictures of the baby in there. She's at day 15 too. Totally different structure from those under the CFLs. Lesson learned.

image11131.jpeg

Not sure why the canoeing of the leaves, unless it's too close to the light. I'm not concerned. She's nearly done now.

image11132.jpeg

That cola is right up under the light.

image11133.jpeg

Some random shots. She's incredibly photogenic. I got carried away.

image11134.jpeg

image11135.jpeg

image506.png

She looks like she came up in a forest, doesn't she? Maybe I shouldn't worry about her at all. She has good soil and she's about to get all the light. I have a way to get her closer to the light when the time comes to harvest. I could give her a dedicated CFL light. It's not like I don't have any extra.

image11136.jpeg

image11137.jpeg

While I was down there I caught a wife of her berry sweetness, turned and saw this lovely array.

image11138.jpeg

:slide: Oil in the making. :woohoo:

image508.png

The young ones are safely squared away in their new space.

image11161.jpeg
image11162.jpeg

A parting glance back.

image11139.jpeg

Whew! Just a bit late here. Sorry guys. I got lost somewhere. The days are starting to flow together. I've been encouraged by those who care that I need to regulate sleep patterns. When the message comes from more than three sources you better listen. I'll be planting something Indica dominant this weekend. There's space in the LOS the Crossroads is growing in. They'll both act like autos under 12/12 from seed. Space shouldn't be a concern.

Thats it it for me folks. Spread that joy now. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

Life's a big science experiment.

I'm trying out a Bio Bomb adaptation of the CannaBudwig method. I started out with 1 gm of Concentrated Cannabis Oil (CCO) and 5 grams of olive oil and combined them by sitting the custard cup into a pot of almost boiling water. They instantly began to mix together

image11163.jpeg

Once that was mixed well I added 3 more Tbs of olive oil and 1 Tbs of liquid sunflower lecithin and mixed that all in.

image11164.jpeg

Into the refrigerator overnight to allow the components to meld together.

image11165.jpeg

In the morning I add 6 Tbs of low fat cottage cheese and attack it with an immersion blender.

image11166.jpeg

Then add some fruit to make smoothies with a wicked kick. :slide:

8 AM sharp I chop the AJH. Everything's ready to go. I'm off to bed right now. Goodnight everyone. :battingeyelashes:

Good morning, Sue. Hey, when you get a chance, can you clarify something for me? From the above first step it looks like you are combining the 1g CCO with something. What's the other component? It looks like olive or flax seed oil, but please confirm along with quantity.

Also, is there a reason for the cottage cheese, other than as an edible carrier?

Thanks so much!

Thanks so much!

The carrier oil I chose is extra-virgin olive, and that's what it's melting into in that picture. It happened almost as soon as the water began to heat, so almost no time at all to get it up to temperature. I read yesterday to get that temp up around 225, very close to boiling point for water, so that's why I went with this method. It worked really well.

I asked Cajun for advice on using it recreationally and he suggested using the cottage cheese to create a smoothie base, so yes, it's acting as an edible carrier. I just finished harvesting, so I'll take my apigenin and mango now, get in a quick shower and then spend the rest of my day exploring the recreational joys of CCO.

The harvest went well.

Full report later today, provided I can still communicate. Cajun warned me that this will be more than I anticipate, but that's what I'm hoping for. Lol!

Sue, i've got a great idea! How about a real-time report on your experience ingesting the cottage cheese/oil edible?

Remember Glimmer's classic of stoner journalism ingestion report? I bet this brew will beat hers. And if you see god, I want to know about it! :smokin: :high-five: :smokin:

I was thinking about that post of glimmer's. :laughtwo: I'll keep a running log starting now. I drank my smoothie about a half hour ago. I was feeling it before I started, since I licked all the containers and implements clean. Lol!

Breakfast Smoothie With A Kick!

The Process

Thirty minutes before ingesting I had 4 oz of mango juice, one 50 mg tablet of apigenin and a tablespoon of coconut oil. This was my first time having the coconut oil, but it's been on my mind lately. There are many health benefits one gains from including coconut oil in your diet and it suddenly occurred to me the other day that this might be part of my answer to the small patches of psoriasis I have showing up and the scalp psoriasis I've been trying to heal for over a decade.

Yesterday I came across the opinion that a small, oily meal, as in something as simple as a spoonful of coconut oil (anybody else hear Cajun say "Ya think?" ) rather than a larger meal high in carbs was more beneficial for creating competitive inhibition. At that point I heard Cajun lay out his protocol, which boldly states to take a tablespoonful of coconut oil 30 minutes before you dose. OK, I think I'll try to demonstrate a little better that I do listen to and heed the advice of my mentors. Maybe actions would speak louder??

I'll be using coconut oil as a regular part of my dosing format from now on.

Look at how nicely the mix stays in suspension. That lecithin is astounding stuff. It's the lecithin that's making the biggest difference here, not only in the dispersment of particulates, but in the quick absorbtion of the medication. It hits within minutes, and hits at a run. Haha! Felt wonderful. :laughtwo: This oil turned out to be tasty, with a touch of pepper to it, just on the edge, but enough to make it interesting to the palate and to the mind. Hmmmm..... I'll have to think on that further.

image11171.jpeg

I scooped out a half cup of cottage cheese.

image11172.jpeg

Tossed them together and whipped it all up with the immersion blender. I'll be purchasing a better one later today, provided I can leave the apartment, and at this point, I'm not so sure I want to do that yet. Lol! I wanted a yogurt consistency, and I didn't quite get there with this cumbersome and clumsy tool. I hadn't used this thing before. It's been sitting in a drawer since I brought it home. It goes out with the next pick-up.

image11173.jpeg

I ended up with a cup of the bio bomb/cottage cheese mix. A dose is 200mg so I went with a four way split and decided to make that 250mg. I'm happy with that decision right now. :laughtwo: I'm also sitting down on the floor, so the high is somewhat controlled allowing me to complete this post. :laughtwo:

image11174.jpeg

I tossed it into the Kitchen Ninja with some Lemon Meringue Pie Greek yogurt, a cup of tropical fruit pieces and some frozen strawberries that've obviously been in my freezer too long, zapped it a few times and cleaned up.

image11175.jpeg

Notice how everything got licked clean? I looked at this picture and licked more out of the Ninja. It was unacceptable to waste the cannabinoids that were in there. :battingeyelashes: Leave nothing behind. I was buzzed before I took my first sip. :laughtwo:

image11176.jpeg

Ta Daaa!!!!

image11177.jpeg

image36875.jpg

I finished it off in 10 minutes (I was answering PMs) at 11:29. Tasty and nutritious, filled with fruit, high quality proteins and psychoactive essential oils. :laughtwo: I could get used to this. I'm becoming more ethereal as I go along and you notice, I'm laughing a lot. :laughtwo:

I'm going to attempt a shower now, which means I have to be able to get off the floor. LOL!

This should be fun. I'll keep a log and post it later, possibly in stages. If I keep one all day long you guys will never be able to get through it. I mean really, have you seen how many words I can go through? :laughtwo: Cajun warned me to stay close to home at first, but I'll have to go out at some point and there's the added sensory bonus of spring showers. How nice of Mother Nature to play along. :battingeyelashes:

Later guys. :ciao:

It was an uneventful afternoon, but quite racy, just the way I like it. At 5 I polluted the stream with a brownie. It was too good to resist, so I'll post the log now, before I slip off the edge again. :laughtwo:

The Log

1:00 PM It's been an hour and a half since I finished the smoothie. I am soaring. I can't believe I'm actually able to type this, but I'm obviously capable of some eye/hand coordination, although it took four tries to get the word "thank" typed in properly - I'm beginning to lose control. :laughtwo: Thank the technical gods for auto correct.

I got off the floor :laughtwo: and I'm typing at the standing station, so I'm still stable. Headed to the shower now.

2:04 The trip to the shower was interrupted by me emptying three five gallon buckets down the toilet (no loss of strength or motor skills here) and some general clean up. As I sailed past the harvest, hanging in the hallway for today, once again intent on a steamy shower and clean hair, I caught a whiff of lemon and backtracked. I lost a good ten minutes or more admiring the branches and considering the growth patterns of cannabis flowers. I think time stood still. :laughtwo:

The relaxing shower behind me I'm feeling the urge to lie down. I think it's a lack of carbs. I'll tend to that now.

2:16 PM I've noticed a certain numbness in my sinuses. Lol! Tipsy, that would be a good descriptive. A delightful sense of vertigo.

2:45 Stretched out across the bed. Popped in the headphones and closed my eyes.

3:25 PM Got back up. I recall working out some hip movements for a Callanetics movement, which I'm now going to try out and then nothing, so I must have catnapped. Still wildly high. Still feels great!!!

3:59 PM Spent a few minutes trying to get my hips to work like that. I think I'm close to breaking the muscle code, but I had to stop. The wide-legged squat for that one is brutal, much less trying to do them on your toes when you're this high. *giggle*. It was funny.

Then I noticed it was getting warm in here so I opened the window, and in so doing I noticed the colored bead strings hanging in the window were dusty. I stood there for a few minutes considering the best way to clean that, enjoying the sensual feel of those tiny colored beads running through my fingers.

Apparently, when I get super high a few things happen:
- I become even more loving. It oozes out of me. I AM Love. :laughtwo:
- I laugh even more frequently. I didn't think that was possible, but life becomes more humorous as I get higher.
- I become sensual. I touch, I feel, I stroke. It's all about contact and sensory awareness.
- I become more aware of my body in space and start exploring Callanetics concepts in my daily activities. I fall into instructor mode and start working out particulars in my mind and trying out different ways to explain them. This happens consistently when I get really high. It's probably indicates a desire to teach, although I can't stand the idea of working for a corporation. But I understand this is my first passion still bubbling right below the surface.
- Details begin to matter more to me. This might be a singular reason to keep me that high. Hahaha! My first outing with Carnival I detailed my kitchen. My first outing with CannaBudwig and I'm working out better techniques for body sculpting and cleaning my strands of beads with a cosmetic brush.
- Music is a necessity. Having this sweet Bluetooth speaker changed the game.

I'm incredibly hungry all of a sudden. Ok, haven't really eaten today have I? Oh! I have chicken salad. Saved!!! :laughtwo:

4:22 PM Had some chicken salad with Ritz and a small piece of chocolate. Finished that a couple minutes ago. I just got another wave of bliss. :laughtwo: OK then. I'm gonna try cleaning up the rest of the harvest mess and getting some pictures loaded in.

Wow! I'm sooooooo high. No impairment of function, no fogginess of mental ability, but definitely light and airy when I move around. Haha! My head rushes are spectacular.

5:00 PM Cleaning up and found myself in the kitchen, once again confronted by those brownies, so I had one. Not that I needed it, but they're so tasty and I just couldn't resist anymore. Maybe it's time to freeze them. :laughtwo: Three minutes later I can feel my mouth going numb and my jaw tightening.

Pretty good ride. Five and a half hours before I supplemented it, and I did that more for the sensory satisfaction of eating one of those delicious brownies than the need to get higher, but I can already feel it ramping up. I managed to get gardening chores out of the way, although I've yet to get them loaded into the gallery.

Here I go again. Think I'll trim up the Med GOM 1.0 before I get too far gone, then try to do pictures.

lol, you are going to get me in trouble with this one

You owe me reparations for posting the recipe. Lol.
I told ya... glad you didn't leave home.

I sat in my truck in the middle of an unoccupied intersection for a LONG time when I tried the 2:1 mix. I've used mushrooms in the past. They got nothing on cannabis...
Just saying.

Yes I do mon ami. Name the price. Lol! Gosh, that was great fun. Not something to indulge in every day, obviously, but dang! That was fun. I'm ready to have another go. The daughter needs me tomorrow and asked me to refrain.:laughtwo:

Staying home was excellent advice.

:surf:
Sue, ...really....post 2129 , i needed popcorn for that one....can't handle it...it's like a friggen novel...
this is when , someone steps in and says,....OK Duggan....easy.....:helpsmilie:. Well, i'm gonna watch some playoff hockey...have a great night SS .

I'm so glad I could entertain you Duggan. :laughtwo: Enjoy the game. I'm missing the whole season this year. How sad.

Congrats on the beautiful harvest! Your JH looks great!

Thank you. The harvest went smoothly. Probably about 90 minutes total, but I don't trim as closely as most. Handling it I'll be surprised if it's much over an ounce dry. I'll do better next time. No complaints here. The Dark Devil Auto is next and she looks like maybe a week.

When I was cleaning up I found this branch buried under the leaves. :laughtwo: It didn't get washed, giving me a test piece for comparison. I used the essential oil foliars on this plant and I'm curious as to whether that changes the flavor at all if you didn't wash. There's nothing in them that can be harmful.

She wasn't a large haul, but I already know she packs a wallop. I'm thinking I'll be lucky to get an ounce. That's only acceptable the first time. Time to step up my game and act like I'm serious here. It's going to take more productivity than this to get ahead of myself. I've already grown fond of the oil and intend to keep producing it for my own use. That takes more than an ounce per plant if I also intend to smoke, and I do.

Sue, was this batch decarbed?

Why the coconut oil separate, instead of coconut oil/ cannabis oil/ lecithin? The coconut mix stores well in the fridge or freezer, and is tastes great in sugary baked goods. It can also be eaten by the spoonful if you don't want to make anything. I also enjoy non decarbed slow made whole milk pudding for intense pain relief and long deep sleep.

Taking the coconut oil separately is to assist in competitive inhibition of the enzymes in the liver, in hopes of sneaking more cannabinoids through unmolested. Coconut oil is an excellent carrier for oil, but as a medium-chained fatty acid it goes straight to the liver, where the long-chained fatty acids in the olive oil will be absorbed into the lymphatic system, missing out on the first pass through the liver.

Today was the first time I tried coconut oil on its own and was surprised at the subtle taste.

Thanks for the info on making pudding. That one hadn't occurred to me yet. Do you use fresh or dried for your pudding? How long do you steep the milk?

Why not cut to the chase and ask if you'd be so kind as to share your recipe? There's been some concern lately that it's time for me to regulate my sleeping patterns and I'm looking for something to knock me out before four in the morning.

Daily Update: Thursday, April 28, 2016

Busy day, and considering how high I've been most of the day I'm proud of how much got done. :blunt:

Let's see see how they did. Starting off in the veg tent. The now empty pot got thoroughly watered. That puppy was dry. I'll need to do a compost tea in a day or two and get things ready for the Strawberry Blue in about a week.

Jarring It Up: Med G.O.M. 1.0

I kept the little pile of sugar leaves for myself. I decided to vape a little bit every morning for a while. Extra cannabinoids.

image11190.jpeg

I'll have to be satisfied with that. It's pain meds that won't mess him up or damage their bank balance.

image11191.jpeg

image11192.jpeg

image11193.jpeg

image11195.jpeg

image11196.jpeg

I've tested it out myself and it's decent pain relief. It'll be put to good use. That's all I can ask for. I'll have to grow it again and try to increase yield a bit.

That DD is swelling nicely. Great job in your tent. I noticed your Temps at 35°, is that a little high for LED lighting? It might help photosynthesis if Temps stay closer to 30°. Might help you pull more weight from your garden. Anyway, plants look happy.

Cheers
