The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

I know I ain't stopped by in a bit but when i read this i knew I had to say something and that something is!!! Im so glad to hear that your dsughter found relief and its even more happy to know that you helped her find it! I know it was goal of yours! Your a great mother and your daughter is so blessed to have you willing to do anything to help her! So wonderful to see your goal come to fruition! Good vibes your way and i hope your day is wonderful!

Thank you lexort. :hugs: The day started off on a good note. More below.

So... I smoke a touch of herb now and then.
One of the larger bonuses I appreciate about it... it suppresses dreaming.
Seems like your awesome young lady might be fearful for no reason.

Sweet story. Makin momma proud and takin care of biz... very nice. Make her some nicely dosed candy of some sort as an easy bed time treat... I prefer 'magical' gummy bears.

Not a bad idea Tead. I'll be sure to look into it. After we ascertain that she won't get high at all we can explore edibles. Large gummy bears sounds like something she might enjoy. :high-five:

Sue, amazing news!! I'm so happy for your daughter, and I'm proud of you for being such a great mixologist. Yay!

Thank you Canna. She slept soundly and woke up clearheaded. That pleased her so much she came over this morning to have another couple pulls from the vaporizer to see if it would keep the anxiety at bay, and to see if she can stay awake.

Again, only two pulls and she stopped. After talking a few minutes I asked her to rate her anxiety levels, scale of 1 - 10 with 1 being anxiety free. After qualifying that she's usually at a level 8 - 10 she thought about it and decided on a 3. So it works. No psychoactivity, pain relief, tension relief and loss of anxiety. Within five minutes.

Yeah, mom's pretty happy today. Let me post the update and get to work tuning up the body.

Good afternoon Pigeons. :hugs:

Sue,

Such a treasured moment you had with your daughter and a pleasant share with us.

Thank you

Thank you for caring enough to share in the joy Rad. She expanded that joy by stopping today for another dose. We may be onto something manageable.

Daily Update: Saturday, April 30, 2016

I love the lull of the day after a major drench event. It's like everyone purrs. :laughtwo: the only thing I did today was to add a light. Details on that below.

Lets start with this lovely Dark Devil Auto (Day 78). She's turning pretty quickly. The drench yesterday didn't seem to initiate another rush of new pistils, more evidence that we're approaching the end.

image11279.jpeg

I got the loupe out and checked. Mostly clear. Still at least a week.

image515.png

image11280.jpeg

Just encrusted with a shield of trichomes guys. Amazing!!

image516.png

DDA2 (Day 18) Yes, it's a blurry picture, but when I reviewed it I realized the clover's overtaking her.

image11281.jpeg

image11282.jpeg

So I changed that. Time to cut and transplant some of that bunch of clover.

image11283.jpeg

Next up, the flowering tent.

image11284.jpeg

We're at Day 80 for the CBD Critical Cure, flip + 15 days.

image11285.jpeg

Crossroads is at Day 4 and looking very healthy and happy in this matrix.

image11288.jpeg

Some urge made me turn and snap a picture of the area where I planted the other seed, that didn't come up. When I checked the photo out I noticed the seed laying on the surface. It's in that dark spot to the right.

image11287.jpeg

I took it out and put it in a damp paper towel. I'm going to try B A R's germination method with this one. I planned three in this pot, assuming they'd grow like budscicles under the 12/12 lighting. I still have to find an acceptable indica in my seed bank for my own use. I'll do that later today.

Into the veg tent.

CBD Critical Mass (Day 80) The next drench can't get here soon enough. Look at her pleading to go into flower. :laughtwo:

Super Cheese (Day 4)

image11291.jpeg

Time to limit vertical growth.

Time for some lunch. The stomach's grumbling. I had another breakfast smoothie this morning. What a wonderful and nutritious cannabinoid therapy, but it's been hours and the body demands more fuel. :laughtwo:

Have a wonderful day everyone. May your weekend be filled with the joy of friends and loved ones. Spread that joy around now. I'm counting on you. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

Hi Sue. It's so good to hear her anxiety is more at a manageable number. I bet that takes a load off of her. That's awesome! All that hard work and effort are paying off for you guys. Yay!!
I was wondering if you would stop by the new journal we made together today. We've started some clones and dropped some seeds. We would be honored to hear from you from time to time. The link should be in my signature. He just added it for me. :thanks:

Already subbed in Canna. :battingeyelashes:

I just returned from placing my votes in the various site contests. Today's the last day for voting so don't forget to leaned your own voice to the crowd of interested members.

We voted pretty early and have been watching the results. This is my first month on the site to see the voting. It's so funny! Thanks for the reminder though, I need all the help I can get. Lol. Thanks for stopping to our page. I think it'll be a blast.

My stoned brain always needs the reminder... but always finds a few here. Thanks SS. Off to vote.

Glad to help. I love to see the numbers climb. It's the participation that excites me. I enjoy watching the banter between the guys as they wait too. That MOTM thread is like a comedy show sometimes.

Your garden looks lovely Sue.:hugs::hugs::hugs::Love:

Thank you Noob. :hugs::hugs::hugs:  Yours is coming along nicely. Before we know it you'll be harvesting. :laughtwo:

It looks to be a great grow experience. I keep vowing not to sub any more, but it's a weakness I'm ok with by now. Lol! I envy those of you with partners to help with the gardening as well as the journaling. Posting every day takes at least an hour out of every day, since I have to load pictures in one at a time. If someone else were helping with that alone, my life would open right up.

Good morning everyone.

I'm finishing up the last of my CannaBudwig cottage cheese mix in my morning smoothie. Delicious way to get cannabinoids into you. :laughtwo:

image11329.jpeg

I used a gram of CCO to make this mix, and that was enough for four days, giving me approx 200 mg of cannabinoids per smoothie. Out of the ounce of plant material I processed I got 3 grams of top quality oil and 2 grams of questionable oil. So, figuring those three grams to be made into breakfast smoothies at this level, that gives me a total of twelve days from that one ounce. That's a pretty high consumption rate Susan. :laughtwo: I suppose I could cut back to a 1:10 ratio CCO:carrier oil on the bio bomb mix and extend that to 24 days, but that drops the cannabinoid count to 100 mg. That's unacceptable. It stays at 200 mg a day, minimum. I should anticipate improved extraction rates as I gain more experience with the process, which changes the numbers.

Awk!! How did I end up trying to figure out pharmacology 101 in my early eighties???? You know I'm having a great time with this, don't you. :laughtwo:

Ok, so add just one more gram of extracted oil onto that and I have a 16 day supply. That's two ounces a month on average, adding in my recreational use as another ounce that brings it to around three ounces a month. That might be conservative, since "recreational" includes creative enhancement, and I'm a writer. :laughtwo: Then there's experimentation. I find myself back up to an ounce a week. Increase yields girl. It's as simple as that.

In comparison, my brownies use 1/4 oz per pan and supply me for a week, with extras. If I figure on the low end and peg my cannabinoids at 70% I'm getting approximately 300 - 350 mg per brownie and I take two a day. An ounce of plant material will last me at least 28 days. I'd suspected this from the beginning. I'm getting significantly more cannabinoids into the system with brownies. :laughtwo: For someone as fundamentally healthy as myself it's an either/or choice. If I were treating cancer, I'd be incorporating suppositories, and CCO would be the obvious choice. Lol! I'd also be making more potent brownies using the bio bomb and definately continue with daily smoothies. What a way to start the day. :battingeyelashes:

image36890.jpg

I've found complimentary dosing choices for me. :slide: Using the bio bomb adaptation makes them as bioavailable as IV meds, or so I'm told by a trustworthy soul. I'm feeling good about my cannabinoid therapy.

My daughter refreshed her meds yesterday after about six hours, so we're shooting for doses about every five hours. She came over after midnight and instead of taking her meds here she had me load the vaporizer and she took it home. :yahoo: There's enough in there to get her through today, and she plans to refill herself next time, at which point she can do it all on her own.

Life is rediculously sweet. :battingeyelashes:

image11327.jpeg

I promised ShiggityFlip I'd start something Indica this weekend in an effort to grow personal meds that stand a chance of getting my sleep patterns back under control and getting me to bed before 5 AM. I looked through the seed bank and decided on Shiva Shanti ll. These are regular seeds, but I'm fairly certain I pulled out a female. The seed is in a damp paper towel and in a dark place, as per B A R's germination instructions.

image11328.jpeg

The chart showing what effects to expect tickled me. One of the reasons I'm growing my Strawberry Blue is for the strain's ability to consistently fire up my libido. Now I'll be growing two with that same attribute. Interesting. Could this be a sign? :laughtwo:

image11330.jpeg

Might be time to accelerate the rate of emptying out the apartment. :laughtwo: Ahhh....... Good laugh to start the day. It's a good life and I'm thankful I'm living it.

A moment of insight into the mind of an irrepressible optimist:

Where some might think "I'm in a lull stage. I better enjoy it while I can because life's going to go to s***t any day now" the irrepressible optimist, or at least this irrepressible optimist thinks " What a lovely day. This lull period is a relaxing break. I'm sure some challenge will rear its head someday here, likely soon, given the level of peace I'm feeling, but I weathered that last one really well and I learned a couple new tricks. Nothing I can't handle, so let's have another brownie, since it's Sunday and all."

I'm not really having another brownie. :laughtwo: That smoothie is beginning to hit pretty hard. :woohoo: I love the first half hour. It's like an amusement park ride. :slide:

Alright guys, it's been fun chatting, but I have pictures to load into the gallery. I'll be back. :ciao:

I wrote all of that somewhere around noon. At that very point I thought "Let me go lay down and think about the math" because I'm pretty stoned and something in the calculations feels off. I just woke up. :laughtwo: Guess I needed a bit of catch-up time.

Let me get to those photos now.

Daily Update: MAY DAY, 2016

Nothing but pictures today. Let's start off in the veg tent today, shall we?

I may may transplant the Strawberry Blue later today. I have some errands to run first, so if not today, certainly tomorrow.
