The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

Good morning Susan. Your garden is lovely per usual. :thumb:

I have a vision of Dark Devil Autos filling my grow tent to the max. What a lovely vision. I will have to purchase seeds and set aside time to rock those girls. Maybe this fall. How awesome would it be to have 10+ Os of that beautiful bud for the year to follow? Quit inspiring me, Sue :cheesygrinsmiley: :hug::hug:

I've been seriously considering this myself. :laughtwo: I was just dreaming of a run of DDA followed by one of Carnival. What a year that would supply, eh?

Maybe we could coordinate the DDA grows.:hug::hug:

Hi Sue. I just got up to date with your journal, and enjoying the progress! Nice work!

One question. a few days ago you gave your Critical Cure plant a drench. How tall is she now? She looked huge in the picture!

Thanks!

She's coming up on 29".

Wow, that DD looks lovely. It's foxtailing like my Narco Purple's. Very similar structure and makeup. Your other plants look great too.

Cheers

Thanks miller. They keep me pretty mesmerized. :laughtwo:

I've determined that the Dark Devil Auto is in her harvest window. I could take her at any time from here on out. I'll give her a bit more time to turn more pistils, but she's starting to pant. Lol! The trichomes must be getting weighty.

Hold on Sue, are you sure its the DD thats panting and not you?? I can hear the heavy breathing all the way over here!

You have good ears RheinRover. :laughtwo: I'm considering taking the ripest small bud to dry and then maybe I'll be able to stay away longer.

Oh! Oh!! Nearly forgot.

New Arrivals

We have new babies. :yahoo:

Super Cheese came up wearing the shell. After I wrestled that off her there was the matter of the membrane, but with gentle perseverance she broke free.

image11114.jpeg

That was when I realized that the Crossroads that had also come up was still ensnared in her membrane as well. She's free now too.

The Crossroads seed I soaked didn't sink, so I'm thankful this one came up.

It's time to give Critical Mass the Energy drench and get her going for flip. Time to rethink my spaces and make adjustments. The seedlings will be moving to the closet and the Super Cheese will move into the veg tent.

Now we're starting to have fun. :slide:

Waiting for seeds to germinate is the hardest part.

I swear, I was leaving the room to go to the kitchen and a little voice said "grab that loupe". So I did, and I checked the Auto Jack Herer. Mostly milky with a few clear. Good. Time to schedule my harvest. Then I found this leaf right up under the light. Time to harvest tomorrow.

I went for my next denture fitting yesterday and I find it disturbing that this intelligent man could allow himself to be so grossly misinformed about cannabis. In the end he conceded that medicinal use was justified, but was utterly intolerant of the human need to have some type of release mechanism for the daily stresses. He believes you should suck it up and keep going. I mean, I believe that too, but I want the freedom to shore that sucking up with a little cannabinoid therapy.

The man believes smoking cannabis causes emphysema and lung cancer and that it's the ultimate gateway drug. He was appalled to discover that current trends are to use cannabis to withdrawal from opiates and refuses to believe that it's been proven beyond any doubt that, rather than cause lung cancer, smoking cannabis will increase your chances of never contracting lung cancer.

It's kinda scary, but the man is an incredibly talented dentist with a strong sense of pride in his work, so I have no plans to stop using his services. He's finding me a copy of the study he says proves cannabis causes lung cancer, I'm getting him a copy of the study that proves otherwise. I know we're at a stalemate, but we've been casual friends for years, so I at least have to try.

Good afternoon my friend!!! I hope you are having a lovely green day!!!:circle-of-love::peace:

Good afternoon supergroomer.  I need to swing by your cafe and sit with a nice cup of tea doing nothing but enjoying music. I think I'll drop by after this. The lavender are beginning to grow. Maybe I'll sneak some leaves from a neighbor's bush and make lavender cookies to drop off next week. Mmmmmm......., not a bad idea that.

I have found here that the doctors are starting to come around a lot quicker. It could be that I'm in a legal state so they don't see the harm the way they were taught. My doctor is on board with me using it for pain. He just wants me to vaporize, which I'm not a fan of yet.

The propaganda has been fierce in the medical profession. More than I'd considered. They recommend vaping because of the fear of lung cancer or pollutants. I think the curative powers of the plant counteract those small concerns. But I understand where they come from. Lungs should be respected, and I do respect mine. I do regular breathing exercises. A strongly oxygenated body is an inhospitable atmosphere for tumor growth. I always figured if I was going to smoke cannabis I should also strengthen my lungs.

Good afternoon Sue :love::hug::hug::hug::love:

Good afternoon Noob :love::hug::hug::hug::love:

Wait............... One more.

hey SS and Noob....evenin . Ya , with the vaping and smoking thing.....i gotta lot to say about that. First off , yes Susan, when and if smoking finally catches up ...it's too late to stop. Both parents ....cancer ...from smoking ciggs their whole life. When i bought my new vape , i was excited to finally be able to give my lungs a rest. I play hockey , as you know SS, and lets just say, i'm glad i don't smoke ciggs. When i started in with the vape, i just didn't like it up in smoke any more. With me , it's always been the taste , i just love the taste of really well grown cannabis. Vaping gives me what i need with a fantastic taste.....and NO hot, burnt smoke entering the bags! It was my fault, kind of though....i vaped for about a week before trying a joint on the way to hockey (that's why i bought the FF#2), couldn't smoke it...tossed it out the window.....not good, i was pissed. I knew the weed tasted great , but, but,....tried it once more....same thing, just a bad , burnt taste. Anyhow , boys are here....cheers.

I can't believe you play hockey stoned, Duggan. I would have never been able to play football high. Too many freakin plays and protections to remember. The guys on defense were blazed a lot in practice though. Have a good one buddy

I'm back...ya Noob, nothin like it brotha....hash is best though...more of a body rush, really. Been puffin before hockey (and after :tokin:) for about 23 yrs. now, ever since i started with "Old Timers" (35+). I've watched the whole team retire over the yrs.....me and one other guy have been there the longest. I'm proud to still be playing and what's better is , i may just get to play with my youngest too, other than practices. Anyhow , now i'm ramblin again. Playing hockey buzzed... what alot of fun....it's non contact....don't worry, i'm no fool! cheers Noob ...and the rest of my brothas and sistas!:circle-of-love:

Sent from my DeLorean...in the future! :blunt:

I doubt that you are at a stalemate. If he thinks he has a good study, he will probably look beyond the abstract and the news reports and see the weakness of the study before he talks to you. His mind is open. Your mind is open. The facts have a chance !
