The Joy Of Growing - SweetSue Goes Perpetual

Good morning, my friends.

I've already been in the tent to do the Brix foliars and get everyone turned. I believe there's only one drench scheduled today, or at least that's my determination after handling every plant in my tent this morning.

Can you even believe that we could be this blessed, to begin our days knee deep in healthy cannabis gardens? :laughtwo: Life is sweet indeed. :battingeyelashes:

My only drench was my oldest Dark Devil Auto. She's at Day 86 and this is her second CAT drench. You know my penchant for documenting. I hope to catch that jump in trichome development and I've the anticipation of more pistils. One can hope.

I got that shot. The one you pray for, asking the hands to please, just for a split-second, stop with the morning tremor already! LOL!

I love the way the sugar leaves begin to look like spearmint leaf candies. Hahaha!

This is one of the reasons I stick with Callanetics. It's trained my body to be still. Being able to counterextend at will, and to then create stillness within that reflects without is a powerful thing. I plan to increase its influence in my life. I like that feeling younger every day thing too. :laughtwo:

Carnival (Day 128) More pictures later, I promise. :laughtwo:

Second CAT tomorrow. Geez Louise..... Two more weeks available. Getting excited. :slide:

Good morning Sue
Hope the coffee is hot and the brownies are fresh :thumb:
Your little ladies are always a pleasure to admire.
Spearmint leaf candies, a perfect description.:bravo:

Yummy coffee and potent brownie already ingested, thank you OG. Pretty busy around the house this morning,M so it was good the tent is running itself today.

That's exactly how they look to me too Sue, especially when they get all rounded on top.

I can almost taste the mint! LOL!

Looks lively in here Sue. :)

You and I will both be getting sticky fingers very soon now!

:circle-of-love:

I love the smell of approaching harvest. :battingeyelashes: You have much more bud washing ahead than I do though. I noticed you use gloves. I don't know that I could stand wearing them, but it seems such a reasonable idea. I'll have to try.

Time to put together some posts and get this laundry out of the way.

:Namaste:

For the most part I wear the food grade plastic gloves initially, then switch to the more fitted gloves. I find that trying to get that stuff off my fingernails is the toughest part and I hate putting stuff on my hands like nail polish remover etc. to remove it. That stuff soaks into your body....what does it do in there? Scary to me. LOL

I just checked on the two that need chopping, I'm forced to get this done tomorrow without fail!

Actually the acetone isn't all that bad. It's not all that good either lol, but the body can process it through. The other crud in nail polish remover might worry me more. You can make a good hash oil with acetone. For getting the gummies off I use 99% Iso Alcohol.

Daily Update: Perpetual Tent - Week 19, Day 6

image3808.jpeg

Maintenance notes:
- The oldest Dark Devil Auto got her second CAT drench.
- All Kit plants got a Brix foliar.
- All necessary plants got rotated 1/4 turn under the lights.

Not much to see today. I decided to stop talking about it and start actually eliminating things, and that's going to be the thrust of my day.

image3809.jpeg

The Dark Devil Auto is the only one that must be attended to today.

The canopy on this girl stops me cold every time. :laughtwo:

Let me pull her out and get some decent pictures.

I know. You should live with her. I open the tent and her smell smacks me right off. LOL! I'll be honest, I'm stunned by her. This is the Kit, in action. Amazing, isn't it?

My first grow was in the closet, with no door and no filtration system. I ran with CFLs exclusively and they were both autos, so it didn't matter that it was all wide open. When they got stinky I was in heaven. The smell of ripening cannabis will always be the smell of home to me. It was an automatic mental orientation. Some of my happiest memories are of opening the front door and stepping into that sweet perfume.

It frustrates me to open my tent and have a filtration system that works so well I can't smell anything without sticking my nose into it. Does that make me too weird? In a more perfect world we'd be free to live with the perfumes.

LoL! I love the smell of ripe buds. Especially when it hits u like a ton of bricks. Call me wierd, but I love it when you just get done trimming, and the smell of fresh bud lingers on your clothes for the rest of the day. Congrats on the many plants you've harvested Sue. They all look so good. I'm excited about carnival. It looks spectacular. Can't wait for the smoke report on that one. Joyful times in the life of SweetSue. Take care Sue! See you around the yards.
