Hey Gang....there's a coffee nazi aboard ship.....watch out! Hide the beans!
Creamer in your coffee?!?! Is a big dose of sugar next???
It's coffee not candy dammit!
*Oh no... I'm not some sort of coffee nazi...*
Hahaha! Cajun turned me on to the chicory, but every time I add the sweeter and, in particular the creamer, I expect him to step out of the background and gently remove the container from my hand. Can't you just hear it? "Step away from the non-dairy pollutant to the flavor of your coffee mon amie. "
I'm trying to wean myself off. I didn't begin drinking coffee until I was in my early 20s and my introduction was a West Texas Dunkin' Doughnuts. My friend handed me the cup of plain and said "Taste". "Bitter!" I responded. "Prefer herb tea, thank you very much."
She reached past me to the sugar container, dumped probably 1/8 cup into that coffee, splashed some honest-to-God creamer in, gave it a swirl, handed it back to me with a "Try it now " and a wicked grin spreading up to the twinkle in her eyes. I now understand that twinkle to be the sugar rush from her previous three cups.
It's been a difficult habit to release.
You should join us in Supergroomer's coffee shop. I think you'd like the company. I know we'd enjoy yours. The accent's hard to resist. LOL! Such a woman thing to say, and you'd have laughed right out loud if you heard the voice drop into the lower, more sultry register of southern woman hospitality mode.
Five years in West Texas going to University left a permanent mark on me.
Let's take a moment to be on topic and keep everyone happy. What can I offer up?.......hmmmmmm....... Ah! Here we go. A few random shots from inside the tent. I like to leave Sunday's relatively free, today I'm slipping into Callanetics mode as soon as I post this, so it's just pretty pictures and me rambling today, I guess. Isn't that every day around here? Hahaha!
The Auto Jock Horror x Auto Amnesia
Looking down a branch of Carnival. I'm not going to get something luscious and covered with pistils like Graytail's this time, but the experience of raising this one is invaluable. My next attempt at this strain will be in the oldest no-till, up canned into a 10 gallon bag. I like the idea of both pots being at least 10 gallons. I need to get some worms into that new pot. Oops! I rambled.
My little one. She's absolutely elegant, and poses so nicely.
Dishes and laundry call. I'm finally getting back into routines and I want to reinforce that. I'm trying a new approach of integrating the different segments of my life into a smoother flow. Certain elements keep getting overlooked, and it's really necessary to include movement and decent nutrition if the goal is homeostasis. And it is.
I'll be seeing you around.
