Jamaican Dream (Day 71)

Such different plants, eh? Both the same age and worlds apart in appearance.

Be right back. Almost done. :battingeyelashes:

It's all in the details.

Daily Update: Perpetual Tent - Week 19, Day 4

Maintenance notes:
- Everyone who needed it got a 1/4 turn.
- All LOS pots got watered with Lactobacillis serum added, to a ratio of 1 TBS/lt. To be honest, I didn't measure, but splashed in what I figured to be just under 4 TBS. of LABS into a gallon of water and split it between the three pots. The soil will be happy.

Let's see who's left. :battingeyelashes:

I used some found elements to gain a little height and get things consistent. We're all in now. Let's act like it. :laughtwo:

Dark Devil Auto (Day 56)

image3729.jpeg

Done! :laughtwo: Well, it's been grand. The day has turned out right nice in the end. Enjoy the rest of yours. I'm probably going to turn in after the meditation. Pretty beat on this end. Have fun out there on the threads. Maybe we'll run into each other.

:Namaste:

That Afghani is a looker

Next one I grow will be a stunner Brad. You're too kind. The buds themselves are starting to thicken up nicely. Nothing unexceptional about that. LOL! She's going to be very kind to me in about two weeks.

everything in Sue's garden is a looker, even the gardener:Love:

Well aren't you the smoothest thing? LOL! Callanetics Baby. Younger every day. A neighbor who hadn't seen me for about three weeks ran into me on the street this afternoon, stunned at how much change had occured in just three weeks.

I'm feeling particularly confident these days, grief notwithstanding. It feels kinda nice. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

You do that with style Atulip. :laughtwo: Thank you so much for chasing that down. :hugs: My conclusion as well. They were suspended in the liquid and I drank that straight down. Very akin to the kick I get from licking the pot after brownies, come to think of it. :battingeyelashes:

I'm just glad my post made sense. I was flying while researching and posting that earlier today. :laughtwo:

Gonna save some bud stems now and give it a try myself. I usually scrape the buds off the stems and just trash them, didn't think they'd hold enough THC to warrant smoking or baking, but I love myself a nice hot glass of sleepy time with milk before bed, easy enough to boil a few stems with it.

I've been thinking about this all day, waiting for the time when I'd be having that cup of stem tea. I had that cup at 5 this evening, so it's been half an hour since I finished it.

image3702.jpeg

Atulip is right, THC isn't water solvable, so what's going on here? Because there's no denying that I'm feeling the effects of the THC when I drink the tea. Then, as I was absentlymindedly preparing the evening drink, I realized what I was doing with the tea ball, vigorously dunking it up and down, for about a minute total time.

image3703.jpeg

If your brain took the path mine did you envisioned all those trichomes breaking free and falling into the liquid, which I promptly guzzled right down. That may be the explaination. Any thoughts on the matter?

This isn't as intense a buzz as the brownies, obviously, but there's definately a zip factor, with that slightly edgy sativa effect some people find disconcerting and SweetSue absolutely loves. :laughtwo:

I've also noticed a consistent relaxing, almost sleep-inducing effect that's hit about 40 minutes in with each cup I've had. Something to keep in mind. And before you go there - I just don't sleep, so it gives me that moment of "gee, sleep sounds tempting" and then my brain wakes right up like a small child fighting the nap. :laughtwo:

Right now, I'm majorly buzzed, and my brownie dose was somewhere around 10 AM, so we know it's not entirely due to that. I have to assume the tea contributed to this. There's no other explaination.

I believe you may be experiencing a CBD effect: giggly happy, mentally invigorating, and muscle relaxing.

I've never read anything about a CBD rush, but I have similar effects when drinking my homemade VG juice made with harvest trim. The VG juice tends to 'activate' a THC brownie high and lasts by itself for 15-20 minutes.

Makes perfect sense. Thank you Rad. :hugs:

Final Weigh-in: White Widow

Well, I was off to bed, and then I spotted the White Widow and remembered it was supposed to be jarred up already.

Decent haul, all things considered. Around 15 grams total and two batches of Bangin' Brownies.

Little left-over bits. :slide: Unfortunately, not tonight. Must get to bed.

All ready for the next batch.

Good night. :hugs:

Good Morning everyone. :battingeyelashes:

A couple teasers. The baby is now 57 days old! I think we need to begin to refer to her as "young woman".

image3743.jpeg

I've been into the tent and did the only thing that needed done, turning the back Dark Devil Auto, Afghani and Carnival that 1/4 daily shift I'm so fond of. Got some good thoughts on using CFLs I'll put up later, but I have a couple appointments I need to make today.

I know, I have to be responsible for myself and another person today. LOL! Sadly, the appointment for my brother is more concerning than it would have been had I taken the the time to be more attentive. Forgiveness. It begins with me forgiving me for daring to be human. Let's see how light I can keep the mood today for his benefit.

He lives below my daughter, who lives in the apartment next to mine, sharing the balcony. Dale's brother lives below me. Both of them wish to die in their sleep each and every night. I kid you not. This is the energy that fuels my wellspring of joy. And you wondered why I'm so irrepressible! It's a survival technique. :laughtwo: It helps to grow the quality I do. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I never tire of shots of this, do you? Do we even need to ask who this is? :laughtwo: :green_heart:

image88.png

I'll be in and out. See you around. And hey...... Thanks for stopping :hugs:

My best bet may be fluxing. Regardless of the chosen techniques - and they should be plant specific - each and every tiny pot from this point out should be subjected to some sort of LST. Given the size constraints I'm going to be dealing with, it'd be a waste of resources to do it any other way, don't you think?

I agree Duggan, bigger pots. That's not always an option. I probably won't be able to handle more than two crated ten gallon pots in the cabinet I plan to put up for my next grow. Some day though, I want a BIG space to grow in. Just once. :laughtwo: Can you imagine? .... Geez, I can, and it's sweet. :battingeyelashes:

Yes Sue...training of all sorts can increase yield but YOU have a limiting factor that will out weigh any training method....and that's small pots. When they're out of gas ....they're out of gas , and no training or magic will work. try just upping the size a little Sue....just a little. Some of your pots ....are , as you put it ."Tiny". In any case your having a blast and learning lots of things about cultivating and the different traits strains have to offer an accomplished grower. The experience you are gaining here is priceless...in any event! keep up the great work Sue and most of all don't stop having fun and never stop learning!:Namaste::circle-of-love:
