The Joy Of Growing - SweetSue Goes Perpetual

Oh boy! I had more than a giggle or two catching up on your journal. Miss Mix-a-lot! or should it be Miss Mix-a-pot :P :laughtwo::laughtwo::laughtwo:

I'm so glad I could entertain you. Hahaha!

Very usefull journal for me:)

Well Ursula, you offer me the pleasure of welcoming you on our joyful adventure and to the :420: community at large. I assume from your post that you garden. Any chance we could entice you to start a journal of your own? In my opinion, no faster way to learn and to become more smoothly integrated into our friendly virtual neighborhood.

If I can be of any assistance, please don't hesitate to seek me out. Make yourself at home and pass to the left. It's wake-and-bake time and this is a wicked Sativa medley mix that's gonna knock your socks off, so brace yourself. :laughtwo:

GOOD MORNING :420: FAMILY!!! :circle-of-love:

Good morning Sue :) The girls are looking healthy and happy again today. I suspect with the way you buzz around, they never get a chance to feel neglected or lonely LOL

Yesterday I mostly slept and cried, so they haven't seen me for a while. Let me go look in. :battingeyelashes:

And here's what I needed to take care of yesterday when I took myself on that roller coaster ride through my emotional landscape instead.

That's ok. The plant will survive and I did the right thing, so all's well. Life continues along the joyful path. :battingeyelashes:

Morning Sue.
Needing chickory root in the coffee this morning.

I'm gonna have to pick some up Cajun. Then I can join you. Every morning. :battingeyelashes::Love: You'll continue to join me every morning Cajun? (She asked in her sweetest voice) :laughtwo:

Sue I noticed you use solo cups for seedlings. I don't know if you do already, but I punch or drill holes in the bottom (usually 4) and set them in shallow plastic containers. Here's a picture

That way it is easy to see if the babies need more water. The first watering you should have about 1/4" standing in container. When there is no standing water like in this picture, it is time to water...I see a pan under the little stands..for drainage or spillage? Just curious. My mentor BID loved High Brix:Love:

I do something similar Hozona but use one large container and just bottom feed all the seedlings at once. It forces the roots to go down looking for the water. This pic is from last week.

Isn't that the girl you hung the pipe cleaners from to train Sue? It worked out beautifully.

Yes it was her B A R. Thank you. :battingeyelashes: I'm quite pleased at how that worked out. She still has quite a ways to go at just 63 days and I cleared off some extraneous stuff today. I'm hoping the buds get fat enough that I'll need some type of Maypole contraption to hold them up. :laughtwo:

Drenches: New Year's Bag Seed (Day 82)

She enjoyed a Growth Energy drench.

A decent sized and tightly-packed main cola.

There are a dozen of these side buds, all between an inch to an inch and a half right now. Its hard to say how much longer she'll go.

Makes me smile to consider how many seeds of this one I have. Let's hope she smokes good.

Drenches: Unknown Seed (Day 63)

Just a few closer looks at this interesting plant. The blossoms have the most beautiful colors and it smells very grapey.

I clipped off extraneous bits and tossed them in the freezer. That bag is slowly filling up. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Fifteen days into the flip, I think they're looking just fine. :blunt:

Carnival (Day 92)

Afghani #2 (Day 93)

Drenches: Original Bubblegum (Day 36)

She got a Trans/Tea drench. Still such a tiny little wonder.

Critical Super Silver Haze (Day 63)

All of the LOS plants got a topdressing of Yum Yum mix scratched into the upper surface and watered in as they got thoroughly soaked with plain water.

This plant is beautiful. I can only imagine what it'd be like to grow one full size, and one day I'm treating myself to the experience. Her perfume is one of my favorites, but I have no idea how to describe it other than "heavenly" :laughtwo:
