Here it is with all the feathery roots gone. You can see all the arteries the feeders were attached to.

20241203_184831.jpg

The core rootball is still shaped like the solo cup she sprouted in.

20241203_184838.jpg

The main tap. It hit's the bottom and becomes a huge feeder root mat instead of staying a tap root and circling forever.

This rootball is as good as any I've grown and better than most.

Miss Sticky was a beast. šŸ˜šŸ„°

With the flower tent now free I moved the 2 Miss Sticky mother plants and the Miss Sticky clone from one of the mother plants that I'm going to keep into the flower tent. PPFD is 450. The veg tent was 390.

Non-Aloe Mumma.

Aloe Mumma.

They all get aloe now so the aloe comparison is over. I like aloe. From now on every plant I grow will get a shot of it monthly.

I'm going to use the big light to jack their brix up before I cut more clones from them. Lets see how big we can grow plants in 1.66 gal potsšŸ˜Ž

I donā€™t know about hitting the bottom
I couldnā€™t find a main tap root on a plant I grew in the ground

You can see all the arteries the feeders were attached to.
I read somewhere that they make those big roots close to the surface to suck up humidity & condensation in the morning

Plant I grew outside had massive upper roots
Looked like ginseng
full

Nothing yet, to much work and travel. Will do a winter tent grow, just gotta buy the ingredients. I have learned so much from you and everyone so I'm excited to try a cloth bag grow instead of my usual SIP's. Soon....
LOS performs best in cloth bags. 10gal cloth pots work really well.

That's a heck of a rootball lol. In the ground is much different. They really spread their wings.

Indoors I like the feather dusters that cloth pots create.

I ā¤ļø the cloth pots, I had similar roots in mine with Turface. Definitely a Game changer!

2I've heard of turface but what is itcexactly?
Turface is calcined clay particles, used on baseball pitchers mounds to improve drainage. Looks like Kitty Liter.

When I kept Floating plants in Perlite Hempy by watering too fast, I switched to Turface to add weight. Works the same-ish.

It make the perfect medium for hydro, because it's just small rocks. It doesn't mess with ph, or calcium (nutes). Allows you to grow in pots. The weight helps to balance the plants.

Well not so much with trees in 1 gal bag/bucket!

Not porous, doesn't hold water, but it does provide a Great PWT! I used 3 Microfiber wicks in the 1 gallon bags, and no signs of Overwatering thru the whole grow.

Do you grow right in it, or do you use it like a swick to set a cloth pot on, like a tub of perlite?

My favorite part of the grow. Taking the engine apart after the racešŸ„°
Sounds like we may need an intervention to work on your priorities. For many of us, there are other parts of the grow that are actually more important! šŸ¤Ŗ

Morning Gee. :ciao:

Nice, look at that rug !!!Ā”!. This is why I never switching back to plastic....ever..... Looks damn good and that split knuckled up very nice. I wonder if that lady bug that got stuck in the snow used to live in that lil crevice lol so I saw you like using aloe in your plants!!!!! Me too. I absolutely can see a difference in overall health. I used to have a long line of aloe I grew n pupped myself for ALL my other plants. It's very healthy and packed w nutes, it also has a wetting agent effect and a bug resistance factor as well as other beneficial aspects. I'm trying to find aloe pups rn,but it's winter in CT here so all my summer plant stuff is gone until season change .......ps. I moved and left aloes w a friend and they just drowned them all..., Aloe is very similar to a succulent....grow looks amazing, root matt looks amazing. I'm sikked for u !!!!! How goes the dry n trim ?

Sorry to spam u bro,but aloe vera plants have many different breeds and I have discovered over time that different aloe vera "phenos" I guess? Have different nutritional benefits depending on genetics. Some aloe are very beneficial for other plants, some for humans and they have different effects based of grow environment also. It's very cool.
