Very cool! I would imagine it's endlessly reuseable? Do you use it with synthetics, or with organics, and do you need to flush it from time to time?
I use Jacks Professional Hydroponics (A), and Calcium Nitrate (B). Roughly 1 Tablespoon of each per 5 gallons water through the whole grow. I dilute it to 25% after rooted, then increase too 100% from Veg to Harvest. It was made for Cannabis Hydroponics growing, but also worked Great in soil.

It is clear with a blue tint, ph stable with a slow drift which makes Everything it needs available at all times. I add only, no res changes, no flushing because it doesn't get hot spots. No air pumps, No chillers, No deficiencies, NO problems EXCEPT Explosive growth! 😉

Imagine being able to Set it and Forget it, and focus on environmentals and Training. Easy Peasy! ❤️

Endlessly reusable? YES!

I am running the same Turface for about 14 years now. A 50 lb bag of Jacks A and B is about $150 US, and will last MANY years! ❤️
I'm not a synthetic guy at all but if it's that cheap and easy I can't believe it's not all the rage lol. Or is it already popular and I just don't get out enough?

Is it man made or a natural product?

I need to google this stuff.

A small percentage in soil used similarly to biochar or perlite may improve the water/air transport.

I just googled it. It's brand name is turface and it's what they call calcined clay.

It says you should site your source as some comes from mined deposits, but some is created from industrial waste and processes. You don't want the industrial one.

I'm not sure which kind Turface is, but I'd guess the good kind. It says it's a fantastic ammendment that makes microbes happy and enhances the CEC of the soil, as well as it's air and water benefits. I'll have to keep an eye open for it.

Turface MVP (Google) is man made and what I use.

I understand, but unless you are going Organic, soil has too many variables in my opinion.

I think people think soil when thinking about growing? (That's alot of thinking!) Hydroponics scares people?

I saw 25 lbs bags of Jacks at the Hydroponics store yesterday, and they said it is NOW, very common!

I initially added perlite with No advantage in end result, it just made a mess when cleaning. I ❤️ Easy! It makes Mentoring so much easier because you eliminate 90% of problems before you start!

You gotta love simple, it makes for consistency. And if it's cheap too....🥰😍❤️
