I have, and that’s what I think caused it. I’m gonna turn ’em back down tonight. I don’t think I’m getting good PPFD readings from my photon app. Sigh…Often a sign of light stress. Did you turn the lights up recently?
They look nice Rob. It could be a smidge too much light. Any idea what your PPFD is?Hey Gee, I just noticed a slight tacoing of the leaves on one of the Sour Diesel.
I'd love to hear/see what you find. I'm going to start a few today with some seeds I made, and if they seem to do OK then I may try a Durban Poison next round in a 10gal of EWC. I'm curious to see what they will brix at.Another point on starting with EWC only with aeration is that I suspect all will go great from germination through veg but will become more challenging at beginning of flower. Therefore, I recommend testing with a strain/cultivar well known to the grower so changes in feeding can be anticipated based on experience and prior notes/journals. I plan to do similar but on side with my main grows rather than my next run in journal although happy to share progress and findings in a separate thread.
That will be interesting. I've seen many admonitions about not putting more than 15-20% organics in a mix. I routinely do 33% so seems there's at least some room higher.I'd love to hear/see what you find. Some things, like green bell pepper seeds or certain strains of tomatoes, and avocado pits all not only sprout by the hundreds but if you scoop them out in a wad of EWC so you dont disturb the roots, they will flourish. That will be interesting. Stunning plants Gee, especially for such a small pot. Ya got skills my friendThe outdoor Gang.
A picture from this side. I measured her today. 5'7" tall from the soil surcafe and 5'3" wide at the widest point.
And from the other.
BK from this side.
BK from the other.
And the 2 7gal cubes.
It went down to 4 degrees last night.
Thanks G, now if I only had your SoCal weather....Stunning plants Gee, especially for such a small pot. Ya got skills my friend
Hi Rob, I had to calibrate my photon app. Sounds silly but I bought a cheap meter off amazon and used it for cal.. The reason was because I have a screen saver I think.I have, and that’s what I think caused it. I’m gonna turn ’em back down tonight. I don’t think I’m getting good PPFD readings from my photon app. Sigh…
Coots is a heavy ewc guy. Build a soil has some videos with him talking about it. He also feeds his worms what our plants want. I don't know what or if anything else at all goes in his grows. Miss Sticky is getting some thickness to her branches! Setting up nicely!Miss Sticky - Day 9 of Flower.
She was stretched up to 1050 PPFD and only had about 16 inches to the light so I flexed her down lower around the edges. PPFD is back to 900. She could easily stretch for 10 more days
Some random shots of some of the 8 mains.
Nice structure.
The neon green is pretty cool.
Miss Sticky aeroclones day 8 in soil.
Aloe is on the right.
3 C-99 seeds in EWC with 2 teaspoons of used soil in the center to plant the seeds in. I want the innoculation from the used soil.
I also added some Bluesky Myco. Then onto a heat mat set at 78F.
This is actually quite similar to the recipe I use now, except I add more meals.Coots is a heavy ewc guy. Build a soil has some videos with him talking about it. Weather is anywhere from 4C to 14C at night and 14C-19C in the day so things are still progressing. The BK needs about 3 more weeks but the RVDV's still need 5 or 6 weeks. Those 3 definitely won't make it but fingers crossed on the BKfantastic! How's your weather holding up? Seems like they might make it from here?
She is a long tall girl with big bones. She's an all round beauty of a sativa. I hope she buds well.Miss Sticky is getting some thickness to her branches! Setting up nicely!
