She stretched up to 1100PPFD in two spots, so I had to re-adjust her and turn the light down a bit. The canopy is 930-980PPFD now.

The nodes are 4" apart on the colas, she would be gigantic outdoors uptopped. Her stalks are very rigid. This plant is skookum for how lanky she is. I just need her to stop stretching🤣. Only another week😓

How do you reduce stretch by reducing light levels? That’s a new one to me. And quite useful if it’s legit, lol.

It won't reduce stretching. I just don't want to burn the leaves so I try to keep it under 1000PPFD. As it stretches it gets closer to the light so I reduce the light.

8' is as tall as I can go in the room I'm in so I'm stuck with what I have.

This is pretty cool. I wish I could fluctuate my temps to try it out.

Hopefully she slows down a bit. Today is day 13 so I still have a week to go.

Coots is a heavy ewc guy. Build a soil has some videos with him talking about it. He also feeds his worms what our plants want. I don't know what or if anything else at all goes in his grows. If you want to read a quick interesting thing he wrote.

I bought one of their clip on diffuser & didn’t have it positioned correctly. Lesson learned…

I’m using the Photone app with a clip on diffuser, but I’ve used the paper ones too. The problem with paper is it isn’t all the same density, so you’d get different readings if you use different paper. I think Stone had the right idea about calibration. I’m gonna do that…

Sorry mate, didn’t mean to confuse stuff, no, its not meant to help reduce stretch, in fact, the opposite, supposedly helps growth and general health of plants,
I was looking for a foliage spray last night and came across someone saying about adding it to the spray, just wondered if you know if this, and sorry again Gee 🤦🏻‍♂️

Thanks for the reply, I have both of the ones you mention, the Photone one seems more user friendly, easier lol
And the PPFD meter was the one I was trying last night, I’m getting all different readings from all over the place, I think stoneotter has the right idea with calibrating it, I’m sure I see a tutorial on the app last night of how to do it :thanks: :thumb:

Yes mate, iv been using the paper , and my readings are all over the place lol, think I may need to get a proper diffuser :thumb::thanks:
 
Some more questions here people, I have a 1x1x2 meter tent, and a 80x80x160 tent
Could I connect both tents and use 1 extractor to for both, I’m thinking to let air come in the smaller tents top vent, and extract through the top vent of the bigger tent, would this work ?

And extractors, I mainly use my bigger tent, and I’m looking at the

MARS HYDRO Inline Duct Fan with Speed Controller​

Or the

CLOUDLINE T6, Quiet Inline Duct Fan​

Would a 4inch be enough, or would I need the 6inch ?
I really need to get me environment under control so any help would be great :thanks: :adore:
