What a beauty!❤️🥰😍 She looks like she's just starting to really rev. She looks like she's about to explode. Big fans coming in🥰❤️. Thats a nice plant, what is it?
That’s funny, I’ve been waiting weeks for someone to ask this question on my own thread :) I intentionally didn’t say because I wanted to make a little game of it, name that strain/cultivar. I was gonna give hints and see who could name it first . It’s a first time grow of this breed that a friend of mine turned me onto and so far I’m very happy with it.

Looking good. Nice trich-coverage. 👍👌

Don‘t get intimidated by the pros ….. after all we all hang out in a room with some sort of Dr.Who, a CannabisKafka and somebody whose garden might or might not exist…it shall not be pictured! 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣

Here's the thing about organics tho, if you get the soil full and balanced, and theres a million different combinations of plants, minerals, and ocean products you can choose from to build this with, get the calcium managed, and don't overwater, we all have the ability to be tied for 1st place, because once you get it right the plant becomes limited by genetics, not us, and it just grows to the max.

If your unsure use a bigger pot.

Nope. I don't mist them. Just a dash ro water every now and then when they look droopy.

Oh....please don't think that this is a "tech"....it was just me having those cuttings in hand after a lil clean up in my tent and thought i remember you saying something about trying out cloning in pure perlite....just went for it. Don't even know what to do with them in case this works. :p
Azi is the perlite clone master😎

Sharing is caring 💚 I'm still getting the hang of it. I don't even have a year of growing under my belt yet Gee man.
I creep your stuff Jiggi.... You do OK😊🥰👊

Hey cool, Do I win a prize?🤣🤣 I guess I'm curiouser lol.
The focus plant in the 2G SIP has been getting 1L of combined dolo and F&F water every other day. The new flipee gets the same on an every 2-3 day cycle heading for 2.
So 12.5% is working pretty good then. If the plant needs more because it starts to rev too fast, water that amount more often, don't start dumping 2 litres in.

12.5% is a good air/water ratio for middle of the road ballparking and you can tweak that either way for different strains.

When you said that was the size of your res I knew this would be easy for you👊

For my daytime smoke and oil using Sativa dominant I let them get to about 30% amber, for night I take them to close to 50% amber for indica doninants…

If anything, I'd engage the reservoir, but this plant really only has 10 days left of tweaks and then it's off to droughting land and then harvest.

Instead, I want to see what brix does over that period with the status quo. See what I learn for next round.

My soil will hold about double that at saturation, but that makes more sense to water half as much, twice as often than soaking the root ball and waiting for it to dry. :thumb: 👊

Of course, Dr., if you say so 😎…but jokes aside, it is truely a pleasure to learn from you guys the how & why 🙏

Another question, I haven’t added any fish ferts to my soil other than the fish bone meal, scraps and seaweed that is added to my compost. I also put a little fish and poultry bone meals in my soil but most goes into compost. My plants always seem to do great without anything else. Do you think I’d see improvement using additional fish ferts? Do you have a diy fish fert recipe?

Do you have a diy fish fert recipe?
Yeah, Gee's "recipe" is more accurately put 'directions' (as in "go to your local Ag supply store, go to the fertilizer section, and grab a bottle of this ........ product") so I better jump in to answer that one.

There are two very simple versions, Jadam and Korean Natural Farming (KNF) .

I haven't tried the Jadam version yet but plan to this summer. For this one grab a 5 gallon bucket with a sealable lid, fill it half full of fish (wholes or parts) along with some leaf mold soil or worm castings, fill with non-chlorinated water, close the lid and that's it. It'll take 6-12 months to fully breakdown depending on temps, then just screen out any left over solids and dilute at a minimum of between 1:100 and 1:1000. The fish oils will want to float so stir well before using.

The stuff I made was the KNF version:
I make my Fish Amino Acid similar to how Chris Trump makes his in this video. I used fresh bluefish that a fisherman buddy of mine gave me. It's a deep sea, dark blue fish which is supposed to be the best fish to use for the FAA.

I let it sit for probably nine months before I started using it. Then I strained some into a big glass jar to use when I water and let the rest sit. It's been probably 18 months so I'm sure it's done breaking down, but I'll probably only strain the rest when I run out of the bottled stuff on my shelf.

A little goes a looong way. Dilution rates are suggested at 1:1,000 so every gallon of FAA produces 1,000 gallons of fertilizer for your plants. It's a very good source of nitrogen.

Sweet, so if I told you I’m convinced and will start working on diy but want to grab over the counter organic to hold me over for the first 6-12 months what would recommendation be. Also, if I told you my schedule starts with top dressing in week 4 consisting of castings and a sprinkling of flour integrated with a few cups of molasses diluted in water; then week 6 they get first tea/gravy made with compost, castings, and rain/stream water, followed by next topping at wk 8 that includes some perlite and so on. Where in that schedule would you add the fish ferts and how often if you don’t mind?

The light just went on

(That‘s my „1 each“ pic…the previous one doesn‘t count 😅)
Thats a healthy looking crop. How long til flip?

I use hydrolysed fish fertilizer and mainly to keep the fungii happy. Only 1.5ml/liter of water. Usually about every 3-4 watering. I buy it but Azi makes one.

Any idea what your brix are at? Thats always the best place to start if you want to see how things are going. If they are up then I wouldn't change anything to be honest.

Day 47, 47, 33, and 30.

The 2 younger ones are starting to get red hairs. Right on schedule, 4 1/2 weeks. The older ones now have more new white hairs than older red ones. They are stacking nicely now.

If I get one more round of hairs in another couple weeks like this again, the buds will be really chunky. Fingrrs crossed🤞😎❤️

I lost my refractometer years ago but I’m planning to re-invest in a replacement soon. When I did still have it my reading ranged anywhere from 8-16 though using same methods.

I brixed mine just now. They were 12 and had a crisp calcium line so I watered them with 75ppm dolomite water. See if we can jack them up a bit. If not I'll brew a tea. Getting back under the big light should help too.

Mother to be.

They love it outdoors. Mother will come back in when the new driver arrives. Runt too. I have 7gal pots ready for them and they can stay in the veg tent forever.

Well, if you're talking specifically about the fish Input, The Rev, in his new book True Living Organics, offers a liquid cheat method which he says is quite good although not quite as good as his method.

It's basically a 5:1 ratio of Fox Farm Big Bloom and Alaska Brand Fish Fertilizer, along with his dolomite water.

So I'd bet the Alaska brand is quite close to what you can make yourself.
