I dont know a whole lot but i would say neem oil or if you have a hydrostore near by or maybe even lowes but there is special pestacide spray that is ok to spray directly on the plants

Just don't know about that line of nutes. Botanicare is a big company and has many products that do work and it's not like there has to be anything all that special in it to be a good nutrient. Difference from one nutrient to another is the combo of ingredients they have and all should work at the basic level.

They are overnuted. That can come from a variety of things. Could be that the plants are just a sensitive strain.

I'd do the 8 step, start them back at half nutes and hold it there until they prove they are drinking again. Proceed carefully from there. It could be that these nutes are just too much for them and you may have to hold it at 3/4 recommended level instead of full dose per bottle instructions. You plants have spoken.

Thank you so much MC. I think you are right. Lights just turned on and they didn't drink an ounce. I will, as soon as I get help, flush this morning. I will keep them off nutes for a few days. Is there a recommended amount of days to keep them on no nutes? Then will go half like you said.

I could have all started with low ph I raised the nutes as suppose to and it snowballed out of control. I just read the links and it is suppose to be complete nutes so we will see. 8 step here I come.

I ordered straight from the company both meters and hope to get them towards the end of next week. I may not have even needed them but better to be safe then sorry. I got both for $126. They give a discount if you go directly to there website I suppose since they don't have to pay ebay fees.:thanks:

I agree with MC, I doubt there is anything truly wrong with the nutes, it's most likely a problem with application. As MC said, maybe the max dose for your strain is only 3/4 the recommendation, but I'd start them back with much less, probably 1/4 dose and work up from there slowly.

I don't know if you've been following my thread, but I'm discovering much lower levels of nutes appear to be adequate for good strong growth. I really feel the nute companies overstate the requirements to push their products, advertising as it were.

And to think I've got a degree in marketing! I was too ashamed to get a job in that field, convincing people they need something they clearly do not is not the way I wanted to live.

Sorry fpf this is only thread I read because I would get over whelmed. I go to other threads when someone says read this to see what to do. I have a lot of trouble concentrating and was surprised I got through the tutorials. I took weeks and weeks.

I watch everything on dvr instead of on tv live because I miss lines all the time or daze out and have to repeat them sometimes many times.:peace:

I will use the advice of mc and you thank you ever so much. Now still waiting for help...still sleeping ug.

i HAVE TO GET NEEM OIL OR SOMETHING..? sorry for caps

Blitty, Einstein oil is supposed to be good. Look that up. I believe there is also a product called Azamax?

Solid advice there.

I always keep neem oil handy. Bid deal said Einstein oil. It's what I use. Works great! Tons of other brand names. You want PURE neem extract.

Azamax is another good option. Works great. Never used it for Spidermites myself, but I'm sure it works. It's another bottle that's handy to have around!

My personal Neem mix:

5 ml neem oil

1-2 ml insecticidal soap or other detergent

1 liter warm water

And for Homemade recipe:

2 cloves of garlic

2 tablespoons cayenne pepper

1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

Mix all the ingredients into a blender. Mix thoroughly and strain through a cheesecloth to get a clear liquid. Pour this into a spray bottle. (You may add water but the potency of the juice will be reduced. Set the spray bottle on "mist" & mist the affected plants. Use a 16 ounce (.53 litre) spray bottle. Make sure to get the undersides of the leaves. Note: The juice is chemical free & safe for edible & non-edible plants. - That was pulled from Sal Gilbertie's book ""Herb Gardening At Its Best".

no worries toke another bowl i'll join ya :roorrip:

Sounds like a plan :roorrip:

I HAVE SPIDERMITES!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT DO i DO????

i HAVE TO GET NEEM OIL OR SOMETHING..? sorry for caps

Blitty, Einstein oil is supposed to be good. Look that up. I believe there is also a product called Azamax?

Blitty, I picked up some ferti-lome Triple Action plus RTU and it really knocks them out. There are a number of products out there, go to a good garden center and see what they have. Just remember to get a miticide, it will kill the eggs too. This product has neem oil in it, most of the good commercial brands do. I came home one night to find spider mites on my palm tree in my living room. I took it outside with all the other plants in my living room, gave them all a good wash with the ferti-lome and bye bye buggies! Haven't seem one since, that stuff kicked butt!

Now, when I start a grow I use Azamax. It's mixed with the water giving you systemic protection, it's infused in the leaves and the mites hate it. I understand it screws up their genetics, really makes a mess of them.

I sure understand that, I can't keep up most of the time myself! Hang in there girl, you're doing fine, we all have our problems with our grows. MC's a good friend to have here.

Is that drooping of the leaves something to worry about?

Do you have a fan blowing over them (not directly on them) ,I'd just give them a little misting. Are they getting any nutes at all yet ? :peace:

fan blowing upwards to the leaves, 1/2 SH nutes, usually have 2 85w cfl but it got to hot so i turned off the red spec light....

Oh and i misted them earlier this morning. Any such thing as over misting?

whoohoo, Just did my flush. The roots did get longer and one or two went to the bottom of the tank, so that is positive. I will still leave the pump in for the time being till I get a mess load of roots.

When do I add the nutes back? I was thinking tomorrow afternoon.

Just finished flush...bucket cleaned parts cleaned all good. I just need remember to cut feeding hoses on an angle next time. They are a pain to poke back into the cups. I am not pulling them to cut them. I hope next change of water they will come out anyhow.

Simon I did see that last time you put it up. I really just don't understand it. It isn't how you wrote it, it is just me. All these different nutes confuse me. I need simple one bottle for veg and one for bloom, although I do have the ripe though.
