OK ASH Report! A young 3 week partially cured bud from this grow with no flush was a brown/black when burned. My fully cured and smooth bud from my last grow with full 5 days flush - same strain is a white ash The newer grow taste slightly harsher but that is because of the short cure and I can taste how it's going to be and it will be good. I beleive the newest grow is slight more potent and maybe a little more than slightly. That I attribute to using nutes for the entire grow right up to harvest. She really triched up at the end.

So we have a dual result. Big difference between color of ash in flushed vs no flush. Keeping higher N seemed to increase the amount of trichs. What I don't know for sure right now is bud density. By the looks right now I would say a litte less dense but a close call.

I'd say that flushing is prefered. They is not much difference in taste. It's just looks funny. Also the added N may be a good idea if it produces a slightly higher grade of pot even if it's slightly less dense.

Very nice DOC. looks good from here

Smells good here and I got sticky fingers! after trimming that dowm it looks to be maybe 3 oz's feels in the brown bag weight like more! but that's just a guess right now, I am working on it I'll update you later when it's a finished product.

Hell yah. 3oz sounds right. dont forget, they lose half their size while drying and then half their size(with big nugs especially) while curing. 60-80% weight is lost during drying and I have noticed 10-30% weight lost while curing

Yeah these are a little more than half way there in the drying process, they just came from the hang! and now are in 2 brown shopping bags, don't want to crush the bud, then they go in jars once they dry a little more in the bags, The last cure in jures came out smelling sweet and tasted real good.

Wow, thats good, they should yeild a lot then. Nice!
When they are ready for cure, you need to cut the smaller nugs off, so they will still loose some size being in the jars but this wont hurt weight.
