Yea its not EXACTLY grafting..of corse but the same principles apply..
Yea who grafts marijuana but it will work by taping it.Grafting- you make the tissues of one plant are encourage to fuse with those of another...This FORM of grafting you do it with the same plant.So lemme correct myself...FUSING BRANCHES.
There is only ONE plant that I know of that will take a cannabis graft and it's Hops. Hmmmmm imagine the homebrew you could make with THAT hops.

On the neem oil, I guess you could but I didn;t and the bugs left on their own. I did spray a litle home defense around just in case but not on the bud. That seemed to give them the idea that they are not wanted.

Put a few slices of potato around in the top of your pots. The Fungus Gnats which are the larvae of the Scarid Fly are attracted to the slices of potato then you throw em in the trash. Sticky Yellow Fly Traps are good for getting the adult Scarids. I dont generally need to use any neem or pesticides with this method. I always hang a few mothballs around too. An ounce of prevention saves a ton of cure IMO. BTW how do moths manage to fly with such big balls.

Havested my Pandora's box and Sannie Jack today. Think I'll get that 2.5 oz each. Not what I wanted but like I said these plants have gone through hell. The scissor hash and a bit of trich covered leaf that stuck to the scissors were excellent. 2 hits and don't remember the next two hours very well. Had fun though . . . I think!

Good info Groover! If it happens again you can bet I'll try that as a first response. Got to remmber to pick up some pest strips and moth balls ( how do they fly? - Proudly!).

Yeah me too but alas, discretion is the better part of valor!
They were snow covered with trichs. Both of them. I got them both around 30-40% amber and the rest cloudy with lots of those mushroom cap like trichs. Thought I had one more day but I didn't. Got 4 nice scissor hash balls staring at me! The two on the left is talking! LOL!
I had bud of some kind from top to bottom. I'm talking about air buds starting about an inch from the plant base. These were under the 400. That will be smoked first!

man, that bud sounds potent! enjoy that man. HID with bubbles, gotta be good! I also smoke from bottom to top too! best way to do it

I can relate. I mixed a few balls of scissor hash from my last harvest with a little bit of kief I made from the trim Put it in the pollen press for a couple days, then I smoked a little bit earlier and I was pretty much comatose for 4 hours!

Can you tell us what the use of extra Nitrogen did. Did you get any Foxtails or feathery buds?

Sorry, no pics period.
Can't quite tell yet if it affected the power in the buds by keeping them green the whole grow. I did notice more growth on the lower part of the plant and got a lot more "air" buds on that part. No foxtails and the bud was pretty normal except for the increased growth down low. I did notice an increase in trichs but I let them go a little longer than I usually do and that may have contributed some. I also didn't flush this time mostly to see if I could notice a difference in taste.

Will you continue to add a little N to your grows in Flowering?
I am also very curious to see if yours have a fertilizer taste after not flushing.

Undecided on the additional N. I'll definately do it during the transition stage but I may back off after about 4 weeks in flower.
I'll report back one way or another. So far I see no difference other than a slightly and I mean slightly harsher taste when they are about 2-3 weeks in the jar but that could just be me looking for something. Not bad at all, just a little different at this point.

I have found that unflushed an when smoking the ash will burn black or almost black and taste is harsh and when flushed the ash will burn almost white and tastes almost sweet! look for that, I didn't think to look for that till a friend pointed it out.
Now I got to go home and smoke one and look at my ash!!!

Now everytime when I smoke I look to see what the ashes color is, but taste is a dead give away, It was suggested to me to use clearex every once an awhile through out the grow, suppose to clear out salt build up in the plants and help with their over all growth and used as a flush at the finish.
What are your thoughts? or anyone else's in this matter?
