The Chiefs White Widow & White Russian DWC

I need to try a small dwc to see how it goes it kinda makes me a lil nervous with all that can go wrong. but it seems that you have it on lockdown so not if but when i give it a try i will be needing your assistance.:thumb:

lol it took me a few months to feel comfortable with it. i was a walking train wreck starting off with DWC. i ran into ALOT of problems so i wish i started with soil first but now that ive stuck through im feeling alot better on this grow this time around. if you ever feel like switching id be more than happy to help you out

The White Widow's roots are getting huge. the bucket lid shes in is noticeably heavier than the others'. im proud of this grow, my last grow was started with 2 14" clones that were stringy and stretched out to begin with. this grow feels way more like i grew them myself well i have but its a hands on experience i didnt get to feel last grow. tieing down my plants and watchin the different growths turn into tops is amazing and it teachs me alot about my plants and how they grow.

White Russian#2 had some nute burn issues and potassium def. i got copper colord burns on my leaves. fixed that though:thumb:

man man man very nice i need to try this. Im just scared of getting rot like 3qrs of the way through. good job my man:thumb:

it could happen. the biggest cause for root rot is high temps in your resevoir or having your water level too high. i had my water level too high last time around and thats how i got it

Chief how do u keep the Rez temp low? I wrapped mine in bubble foil but it only helps a lil bit. Oh and the ph thing. I did a test took a sample tested it at 5.7 then I circulated to mix and tested again it was 5.9 from now on I will circulate the mix before testing

rez temps can be a pain. i got a tip from i believe jon smith that if you freeze a water bottle full of water and drop it in your rez (empty 12-16 oz from your rez water to compensate for the extra water going in) and that should last about 10-30 minutes in there and it will drop your rez enough to keep it cool for a few hours. whats your rez temp at do you know?

I got a hot water heater blanket for my res. Will drop in two frozen 1 litre coke bottles if the temp starts getting too high.
