Hahaha, im a guy but you can still call me sista hahahaha, I'm glad they spoke to you, because that shows me a lot about you :) Anyways I hear you BID - I am very very fortunate I have been healthy all my life...in very great ways. I have never experienced great deals of pain. The worst being breaking my ribs and playing through it in football....I live in great deals of appreciation for my blessings. That's the great thing about this wonderful plant. It's doing great things for us all. -BID I'm sorry you had to deal with so much pain. :( You are living evidence of the great things. Glad you are doing better now:) Do you consume it in any "raw" forms? for a more medical benefit.

well at 24-34 i was on top of the world, then i was run down by a car full of illegal aliens ,i was riding my bike,they motioned for me to pass then when i was dead in their sights they punched it, broke my back,arm leg, road rash on 50% of my body, i did not end up in a wheelchair, but broken and scarred, they were never caught, the bronco they stole turned up in Mexico stripped , until something like this happens you just dont know, god forbid !, but time and cannabis heals much, but life on disability will test your tolerance to poverty, and you either become humble, or bitter,,,im humble, happy and very blessed, but there are still dark days, they serve as a reminder to never get to prideful :peace:
i have had a few brownies,coookies, made from canna butter i made a couple months ago, but the effect was the same as my trailor trash strain, it will be done again when i have something less racy and ocd like

so i have been thinking/reading/researching, and have come to some conclusions, i want to shift more to the sog 12/12 from seed method, i like breeding, it affords me plenty of seed, i find that from seed plants are stronger,more vigorous and yield more than clones in general, i know some may disagree, i will clone when needed (if i find a gem i need to lock down and breed) and clones tend to branch alot making them harder to manage in a sog, so with enough seed (i will have plenty soon and will selectively breed for more as needed) i can also makes it as perpetual and harvest as often as i want by overlapping and germinating seed every few weeks, no need to keep or wait on mothers to provide cuttings, this saves money time and space,
and allows me to work on breeding at the same time in the same space
as im flowering, i also have decided im not going to work with feminized seed much longer, (more research) feminized seed no matter how it was created does contain some unstable characteristics, no matter how dormant, for true breeding lines and stable homogeous (spelling) results, its not the best thing to start with, ultimately i want to create some strains of my own design :thumb:
i was reading up on the "no mercy" site about cees 12/12 system and i like it , its similar to my own preference and style that i have been gradually building towards..
so in short its gonna be 12/12 from regular seed combined with a breeding program(lite version) for now, i'll be content to refine and learn to control the breeding process by making simple crosses,and the occasional big seed run(for seed stock) with the most stable parents (f1) i can manage, while learning how to keep good notes and records of my adventures, so there you have it gang, my new plan and direction, i may start a new journal that more closely follows the breeding aspect and affords me a good place to document all the boring technical stuff, and spare you all that dribble here in the BPN/JDL sponsored (social hangout)

well 3rd day the new ballast has fired with no problem, has arrived, one thing im having trouble with is the weather got nice/warm virtually over night, yesterday i noticed the temps were high,at plant level 83f and above high 90s, im gonna have to improve venting, and or move them to a larger area (tent) we shall see....

Yeah make it "you". Staggering your seeds and planning ahead is just like cloning but with all the positives you listed with seeds>clone. As long as you have the supply of seeds which you do. Good I can learn much from you as you dibble and dabble into cross breading and all that good stuff I want to learn. :) Do it up!

BID how long do you keep your seeds in the fridge after harvesting - drying. I dried for 3 days here with 20-30% humidity in LA. I have had them in the fridge for 24 hours. (30) of them I got from my THC-Bomb that's pollinating herself like a BOSS. :) I want to start germing them because my heating mat just arrived and it's working great!

Anyways have another good one BID - Can that be a strain name OG BID :D or something creative and cool. Dude..I can't wait to become a novice+ and learn all of this and name my own strains and make some sick stuff. :) I'm like a school boy all excited right now.

all in all I'm just a young grasshopper on his first grow....

i honestly lost count of how many grows i have done, between indoor,outdoor and on and off for 20 yrs, its all a blur, with seeds i like to let them dry a month, thats just me, many seeds will germ right out of mama, BUT germ rates are low, 50% average, with at least a week and 2 days in the frig i get about 100% germ on good looking seeds, on pale seeds and one that look "off" its about 85%
my first cross trailor trash X PURPLE #1 im calling it "TrAp" and the second purple #1 X purple maroc = P-ROC, OR purpleROC
the 3rd cross royal purple kush X purple maroc = k-roc or kushROC
some day i'll create a strain called "irish car bomb":thumb:

i finally chopped down the last tt from the other journal will post more details on it there when i close that journal tomorrow,it did look like i will have plenty of seeds from crossing it with purple #1, i also took down the purple #1 female, shes so done at 2 days short of 8 weeks, the four tops were covered in nanners and seeds!:thumb: the lower buds had no nanners at all, plenty of seed, 1 branch was full sibcross, with purple #1 male, the rest is crossed with the royal purple kush dad, i truely feel the hermie was due to some serious light stress, and snapping off the top, i have a couple clones in flower, hopefully i can see what this strain can do without the stress, i probably have plenty of fem seed to play with too,another REALLY strange thing i discovered while manicuring, there was sticky smelly resin oozing out of one of the tops check out the pics, and last is my reward for 2 hours of trimming, a little ball of scissor hash, it was yummy and feels nice, more mellow than tt all by its self,good night 420 family c u 2morrow i go sleep now:thumb:

taste nice too,well for a bowl of quick dried! , got 25 seeds from the first tiny bud, and about 3 nice bowls of delightfully different smoke,feels so much more mellow than TT,, on the exhale it reminds me of potted meat,in a nice way,,i'll do a real smoke report after i have some that's been cured properly

babies are moving along nicely the latest germ(mi5,sas,blue cheese,) was 100%, cream caramel,blueberry gum,purple#1& maroc clones,HBD,all bushing out , the big purple maroc is crazy frosty, and only 1 more week according to the breeder description, it should yield alot for a medium/small plant i count 20 +tops i'll do some pics soon, im not used to these fast flowering strains, im used to 10 at a minimum more like 16, so this is sweet seeing them get so big and plump up so fast, i shoulda got good genetics long ago lol

believe you me everytime i look at it im laugh and say "DOODE NO EFFIN WAY!! THIS IS CRAZY!" no Photoshopping necessary!
i have never seen anything like it anywhere,,just get some from castle, breeder is dutch passion and see for yourself!!:thumb::thumb:
