Thai Stick

The lower buds on this Critical Jack plant:

Not too much longer on it. :)

Notes: Still waiting on my new seeds it usually takes a few weeks though :) As far as the two plants in this grow, the Thai Stick male pollinated the GDP female and it's looking like it's getting close to the end for it. It didn't do great under a 200 watt CFL but it didn't do too bad either. Flowers were sparse and the lower branches wilted from not getting light; it crowded itself out it was so bushy. I'll cull it soon since I'm getting other seeds of it and don't need to save pollen (even though I'm going to try to collect some anyway).
The Critical Jack had to have a few more nugs cut off the top. I think it was just natural color changes at this stage of the plant's life but I don't want to take any chances on an mold outbreak in that tent. It only has about 2-1/2 weeks left.
I'll try to get pics of them both up tonight.

Thai Stick looks more like Old Thai-mers Haze :)
It's getting more flowers as it goes along, even though it's under this CFL:

I'm going to give this strain a lot of room for one plant if I do a female or two (preferably just one) and bend it over don't top it or trim branches off I don't want it to turn into Swamp Thing on me! :)
It pollinated that GDP female good, though:

Here's that poor beheaded Critical Jack plant:

dang.....

That right there, sir, is a mighty fine lookin' bud of marijuana. :thumb:

... mighty fine.

Notes: I got my seeds today thanks Weaselcracker :thumb: They gave me some free Tikal seeds too; I might look into that next Sativa season. So I can collect some pollen from the male Thai Stick plant and cull it now; that's cool because there's pollen everywhere in that unit and I need to clean it up. I'm not going to end this journal I'll just plant a single Thai Stick seed. I'm going to look for a cratered seed, which so far has been pretty consistent with being female. And I'm going to do the same thing with one of the GDP x Thai Stick seeds. I'll grow them both together. Post more pics soon.

I'm very happy to have helped you out- glad they finally arrived. Perhaps I'll do the same re the one cratered seed. I'm so short on room that one plant sounds perfect.

From what I've seen I know not to grow two of these, Weaselcracker. That male would have took up that whole 2' x 3' unit if I spread it out, and that was only a 200 watt CFL I grew it under.
The pollination of the GDP clone went great, jaga. Every bud is fat with seeds. :) I'm trying to figure out my timing, then I'm going to do another Thai Stick female and one of these GDP x Thai Stick seeds in this journal as a continuation.
Okay, PotChimp's Yield Report: Dinafem Seeds - Critical Jack :jawdropper:

This plant seems thin from the top.....

..... but it's because it all dropped from the weight :)

Here's a bud from the top of that first pic, second cluster down (to get a size perspective):

All these nugs are hard as a rock too; the yield is phenomenal. :thumb:

Citrus and spice in the smell; I'll give a better report on that and the buzz later. I'd definitely grow this one again, especially if I was in the biz (if ya know what I mean).

I have to quit using that serving tray for my pics. It's a 15-1/4" x 12-3/4" oval tray, but every time I look at a pic of it, it looks like a round dinner plate because of the angle I took the pic at. Maybe add a second pic taken from the side or something to give the proper perspective..... :hmmm:
