Tead's Indoor-ish, Winter, Hempy, OGK, SOG

I don't have much understanding of weather, nor a real inclination to learn, but I have seen it too many times to ignore. Along the beach it will look gloomy like it wants to rain with rain to the north, but rarely does it rain. And when it does, it tends to be some pretty serious stuff. This year has been tame enough for me, glad we haven't been pounded like some areas out past you.

So I came away from the donation center feeling weird yesterday and I appear to be having a problem shaking the feeling.
First, I wanted to get in and out of there fast. I can't really tell you why... but I could have cut that feeling with a knife yesterday. The spousal unit obviously didn't share that idea and dilly-dallied. I didn't appreciate that too much... but the world continues to rotate.
Then, I was struck by how clean, polite, and organized things were. Sure, we're familiar with how to implement these sorts of emergency support systems on the fly because we use them frequently, but it was like bleach-y clean manned by young kids with awesome attitudes. The other end of this support chain is much different.... trust me. The contrast of the 2 experiences really makes it pop in my mind.
Lastly... folks sure love to help kids. There was a wall of diapers 3 deep and some equally impressive towers of wipes. Crazy.

It all brings back the memories that have just recently fell to a tolerable level. Bummer. Of course, the supply chain is the priority and I have no right to impede it's flow because my feelings are touchy, so we drive on hoping not to crash and burn. Perhaps I'll pick up a big bag 'o diapers next time I'm at the market.

Let's sink a clone this morning....

I'm a "picture's worth a thousand words" kinda guy.

Busy morning in a crazy world....

Cut down the remnants of an OGK. Took some harvest root shots.

The other day, I laid out some Corry's snail bait. Apparently it causes secondary issues. These are the reasons I'm always so worried about mold or fungus growth in my world. You really have to keep it in mind with everything.

Then, of course, there's the reason for the Corry's. Note snail trails on french door windows.

Nice roots. Yeah I've noticed that the slug bait I use in my garden goes mouldy exactly like that too. It doesn't seem to fare that well in wet conditions - which seems a little silly, since after all we are dealing with slugs and snails, or escargot as they are generally called on French doors. It also doesn't seem to affect the big slugs, just the little brown ones. The big ones here are 6-8" long and they can really gobble their way through the garden, leaving a slimy mess behind. Luckily they're easy to find and skewer.

About the only thing that eats those big slugs are ducks. Perhaps they also like snails? Perhaps a little duck would make a nice companion for you as you take your beloved on your romantic little evening strolls through the garden, beside the French doors, among the escargot. Crunch crunch crunch crunch.
gobble.
quack.

Hey tead everything is looking good (aside from the mold and snail issues lol) did ya ever harvest the 2L girl? Curious how that turned out. Intresting new hempy you designed im looking forward to seeing how she does.

I got a little over an oz on the last 2L. The 2L form factor is the driver behind my PVC pots. Love the way they fit in the garden, but I need more output. Hopefully the taller form will be a sweet spot. They're only about 2" wider than the 2Ls and I can make them any height I want.

I probably SHOULD do all of those things, but I have a feeling I won't. I do have like a months supply of Soylent, so if worst comes to worst I can at least not die.
