OH DAMN! 45' worth of parking would sure piss off the neighbors while they're all trying to deal with the situation afoot.
Got bikes mounted on the back? It really is a great city for biking. Even if you get caught in a rainstorm, it's 80 degree rain... coming from a cold climate you might find yourself dancing and laughing in it..... I did.
I have friends further out that could accommodate that need with room to spare, but not near the fest itself. If you ever find yourself motivated to travel down south, I bet we could find an occasion and reason to share some beer.

We really do love tourists in this city. It's a touch of a thread that runs thru everything. Bring your wallet and pray for a good exchange rate!

Ya i don't think tead would be doing his job if he didn't make someone spit out soda lol! In all seriousness everything's looking great tead! Always brings a smile to my face when I see you still doing a 2-liter girl lol. I couldn't imagine doing anything but hempys now cause of you lol.

Music to my ears baby!

Honestly tho... you'll find reasons to try other things as the years roll along. We're all experimenters after all. I'll bet that before you grew a hempy, you had a good bit of trepidation regarding the process. Now you've learned how easy it is and you've got yet another growing method in your arsenal by way of Tead growing shed 'o tricks.

Tead's been pondering an outdoor hempy with osmo. Seems quite possible. No worries about it getting any accidental rainstorm res flushes. Perhaps when the sun gets right....

You know your right i will most likely dabble in other methods at some point again however i do like the simplicity of hempys and honestly it's the most reliable method ive tried so i know I can't go wrong with hempys lol. I had to look up what trepidation meant to be honest lol and ya I will admit its true i wasn't so comfortable with growing at that point lol i still hadn't wrapped my head around it all at that point and some days im still not sure if i do now lol. I think a outside hempy could work i would suppose that if you did have a bunch of rain you might need to apply more but other then that I don't think there would be much problem.

You're not my first victim. Done this rodeo a time or two. For me, your words are exactly my intended goal... thus brightening my day a bit. Thanks for the feedback.

I think many folks look at hempy as a hydro method and are somewhat worried that the process may be over their heads. You and I know that these thoughts are just straight-up wrong. If I were to compare it to what folks generally consider the easiest method... soil, I might even be of the opinion that hempies are even easier. When you combine that with the quick growth and the fact that a perlite medium doesn't support insect action, it's just a no brainer really.
If the local world ever changes and legality ever catches up with sanity, I will offer growing classes to the public. I don't want to get mixed up in whatever stupid rules and laws might get implemented with legalization, but would love to participate in the industry and see the education angle as something I might like.

Ya before i got converted i had grown in soil and I had done peat moss soil less mix which would have technical been a dtw hydro, i gotta say i didn't like soil that much (granted that was the first i had tried so i was pretty fresh yet) i just couldn't ever figure out what I was doing wrong ever and the rate of growth felt slow as can be under cfls, then with the peat moss soil less mix i felt like that was a little better rate of growth was also better however the ph issues i was having drove me nuts all the time. Perlite hempys to me are the lazy man's hydro, ya you still gotta ph and ya you could check the PPM's if you want I suppose (i do every once in awhile i guess) but with perlite hempys i dont have to worry about over watering really because I actually have to worry about underwatering now lol i also don't have to worry about dolomite lime wearing off and peat moss spiking the ph, and as you said don't have to worry about bugs in the medium so that is another plus right there. I think hempys are the best of both worlds you water it like soil and you get the nice rate of growth more akin to hydro win win lol.

Yaknow.... I'm hard pressed to think of a single negative. The single benefit I can see in soil is that you could grow in soil without any feeding... but that's an issue I'm even trying to squash with the Osmo.
Yup... can't think of a single drawback.
If we could just find a way to get folks past that initial trepidation. I've tried words. I show photos. I testify to the masses. Perhaps change takes time and I'm just too impatient.

Strong storms headed our way again today. I can already hear the thunder. Let's hope it doesn't ruin the music. Today is the last day.

I usually like to take photos of things I'm proud of... I'll make an exception since you asked.

Here 'tis in my diy boiler setup. Cooked out and cooling. Soon ready for scraping.
I spilled about 1/2 the source liquid. My filter broke... twice. Second time I didn't re-filter... just said fuckit and moved on. Spilled some water in it while it was cooking. Serious comedy of errors.
I bet it tastes like crap, but I'm just gonna spread it on some green herb and suck it right down.

Let me guess your filter was a coffee filter? If so ya they break too easy that is why i use cheese cloth myself. Sorry to hear it was such a hassle. Also didn't mean to put you on the spot like that either. Hope it isn't enough to make you swear off qwiso hash for now on.

:high-five: :woohoo: There's no turning back now. Improve the process and make better. I'm so proud of you Tead. I'm gonna have to give you reps for that. :high-five:

You had a lot more trouble than I did. Even nasty oil will get you high. I have two grams of really nasty from an additional wash that picked up everything you don't want in the oil. It was an experiment to show me why you don't do that, but I'm thinking it should be useful for something, if only foot cream, you know?

Try combining it with cottage cheese and make smoothies. A good 10 hour buzz and nutrition all at once. Really though, tasty and knock you on your ass potent. You know where to find the recipe.

Oh SweetSue.... alas you suffer under a notion that this is my first time doing this dance. It's way not. I even tried the butane method once.
Really, it's a bad sign. I don't usually bother with trim. I had 2 plants go south on me and now I'm just scrambling to stay high.
I've made much cleaner stuff. I promise to make a much better effort of it next time.
