Tead's Indoor-ish, Winter, Hempy, OGK, SOG

Was the cola ready or is this a feeding the need moment? Lol either way I want to know what you think of the 2L girl overall in the end lol. Take it easy buddy!

No need to feed involved in the harvest of the 2L. Good timing tho... the cabinet was getting bare.

I'm not really armed to give a qualified smoke report. Been smoking the same clones for many years now.
She tasted and hit exactly like my other girls. My smoking buddy, the yardstick, stumbled away muttering nonsensically. She had the perfect smell profile... a nice combination of citrus and fruit.

I really kinda like the 2L's. Gonna try some more of them soon. I'll put together a 2L Osmo to see what happens with osmo in a container that small.

So.... I don't like digital timers.... but when I find them for 3 dollars in the clearance section, I jump.

3 outlets (not individually controlled). You can set 10 different time periods. It claims "outdoor heavy duty"... whatever.

OK... feeding this morning... finally uploading some photos. I like the new photo upload doodad.
I've been away quite a bit. Working on various houses. 2 of them mine.... one was a project my plumber needed some help with.

So... Betty.... I know it's out of focus, but I just love the leaf reflection.

OsmoGirl. She's not filling up as much as I wanted, but she had some major challenges at very bad times. 40-45 temps right when she was first forming buds. Plenty of 100ish days. PH problem very early in bloom. Meh!

A little Osmo Bondage action on a vegging girl. Gonna veg her out some more... but she's getting near.

Now I'm all caught up on your journal. I wish my perpetual was established already and running as smoothly as yours is. Have you figured out yet how to keep summer temps under control?

The shot of Betty with the leaf reflection was a sweet catch. :high-five:

I must admit, as good as I've been trying to be about diet, I have a weakness for fruit and nut eggs, so I picked one (ok, it was two :laughtwo:) on clearance. Hard to resist at such a low price and OMG! It - ok, they - were delicious!

Yup. AC and fans. I'm gonna mount the AC unit sometime in the next few days. I was using it out at a work site and need to drag it back home. I'll post a photo of some serious jackleg engineering as soon as I get the AC mounted.
Enjoy those sweet treats.... I'm trying to wear out a bag of gummy bears at the moment.

A small story to share my day a bit....

So, I do about 8 miles a day thru the French Quarter, down thru the CBD, over around the Superdome, then back home. It's a good ride. I go back thru the quarter both ways.
Tead likes to sing as he rides. Some of my favorites include House of the Rising Sun, You Send Me, assorted other oldies. I really dig the way it echos off the houses on the quieter side streets.
Today it was Willie and Seven Spanish Angels. Slowly cruising.... just a touch faster than the young woman cyclist ahead of me. As I slowly catch up to her, she turns her head and smiles. I instantly register that she has some sort of South American blood in her veins.
I was mortified. I sped up and apologized explaining that I had no idea and that I just love Willie.
How did the young lady react? She started in at the chorus.
It was just fucking awesome. I joined her and we both sang along for about 6 blocks.
Magical and so very unusual and special.

That is awesome. The magic of the city. I spent a lot of time looking for those moments, in my youthful wanderings, and rarely found them. I was usually in the wrong cities.

What a wonderful share Tead. You. Have a great touch for storytelling my friend. :hugs:

Awesome story tead! I had to read it to my wife and she got a kick out of it too lol. How long does the osmo feed your girls for? Maybe I have asked but i forget lol o well :tokin:

Thanks for the kind words y'all. I always search for unusual interactions and situations... they're fun.

How long does the osmo feed your girls for?

Well... that's an unknown at the moment. I know what others said and experienced... but they were not growing in my garden. I would expect that everyone's experience would be slightly different, and might further suspect that my warm garden issues might lead to the osmo wearing out faster. It is a temperature sensitive nutrient source with nutrient release levels rising with the temps.
My current expectation is that it will last about 3 months.... which just happens to coincide with my normal plant life timing.
OsmoGirl is my first osmo to produce. The other one I had blooming rotted out as soon as it hit the bloom lights... but that was my bad. OsmoGirl has small buds, but she was temp and PH abused at very critical times during her growth... so she's not a valid yardstick.
I have some in veg and will shortly have more.
Time will tell.
I'm really attracted to the ease of the Osmo grow system, so I really want it to work well. This might be skewing my perceptions... so I'm trying to remain aloof on the subject. I sure hope I haven't been wasting my time.

Ok atleast that gives me a rough idea lol. So since this is a set and forget nute how do you switch to bloom nutes? Im sure this is probably been covered before but honestly I wouldn't know where to look and im too lazy to try right now lol made a little batch of qwiso hash so im nice and toasty lol

Great story Tead, so did you get her digits or what :scratchinghead:?

I used to live in Gentilly (didn't have much choice @ the time, lol) and would ride my bike to work up Elyssian Fields then on by UNO and out to West End where I was refitting a yacht, I would leave out about 4:30 in the morning, most times I enjoyed coming back through the park, but just damn good biking out that way all around. Never got as lucky as you though I did have some birds cause me to crash in West End one morning, came through the gates and got entranced by a flock of wild parrots waking up with the sunrise and grabbed the curb. Not a city boy me, but have lots of good memories of your NOLA.

Good times and great story.

:high-five:

Wow... that's a good run. Nice tho... out thru the park in the mornings. I used to head down Esplanade to the river and ride the Moon Walk all the way to the ferry and across.... it was nice to hit the river every day.

The park is well recovered and has been for a few years. It sure looked incredibly rough for a while. The neutral ground on E-fields was a big massive debris dump for a while.

NOLA is a great city to ride in. There are more bike paths opening up every day. Sure makes life easy.

Man the neutral ground was nice too on Elyssians, I've been to the park, went to play around with my Step Dad and the course was gone (half of it anyway). My Mom had moved from the quarter to Bay St Louis just before the storm, so spent most of my time gutting and drying her place. I had just sold a lil' place in Waveband, Katrina took it away. I was 10 and we lived in Picayune area when Camille came, we just thought she was bad until Katrina. I spend my life/career dodging them damn Canes, decided after Katrina to get north up the boondocks at least when I'm off the oceans I can some respite from them.

Another ride I used to make from Gentilly to downtown, I'd come down Broad then left on canal into town, can't tell you how many times I put my bike in the back of a cab or wound up at Mom's in the quarter for the night after too many martinis at Tujaque's.

Damn loved the flocks of Parrots round there, I've always known when the birds leave (seagulls & Pelicans mainly), it's time to crank up the boat and get the hell out of town, storms a coming.

Man you making me wanna go back.

:thankyou:
