Clogged drain hole. Dammit she was looking good too! Stole some clones from her.

Indeed it does keep turning lol. I suppose if you really think about it its 420 everyday for people like us lol

Yaknow.... been thinkin just exactly that all day. I guess if you swim in the sea of joy, one wave looks pretty much like the rest. Shame I miss out on the apparent joy. Still tho... I take the day to chat with others about the joy and try to spread some love rather than dance in it.

Good day all around tho... followed with a little extra strong celebratory bowl or two (or twenty....).

What did your celebration consist of?

Happy 420 my Big Easy Buddy! :thumb:

I love cutting and laying tile high. One of the few things I don't mind doing. Can someone else grout and seal please?

Bob ;)

Right backatcha DB! I hope you found a way to properly celebrate the season.

We found this tile that totally looks and has the texture of rough cut wood. 1.5ft planks.... so not the long plank look... but still way good. I'm combining it with thin grout lines (1/16 in) using colored grout to really make it look like a wood floor. Should come out great, but the 1/16 in grout lines make keeping your lines straight really touchy.

So... What's that vapo doodad you got going in the photo? It kinda looks like a digital version of my old school Vapour Brothers box.

Alrighty.... Sorry for the quiet.
Time for some words at least. I'll shoot some photos later... well.... perhaps. There is a party occurring around me after all. I could see how some photography might fall thru a hole.

The world about me is full of happy tourists and loud music. It's just so fun when Jazzfest descends. Had me some fresh crawfish and a touch of Abita Amber at the local watering hole yesterday. The puppy is way happy with all the attention she's getting from the tourists.

Had an odd situation the other day. I was on my daily journey. Stopped for a smoke and was chatting up some conventioneers from PDX (always a treat for a displaced Oregonian). An older homeless woman hit me up for a smoke... and I obliged happily. Hanging around was a young street kid. As soon as I passed one to the older lady, he chirped up with "Can I buy one of those from you?". I respond with "I'm sorry baby... I only have so many". The little fuck gets mad at me and actually starts yelling at me. It was just incredible. I couldn't let it pass. I dressed him down a bit and reminded him that we were in a polite society. He wandered off aimlessly mumbling and I apologized profusely to the visitors. Such a shame. Our city need any help to look bad.... we're plenty good at that ourselves.
Meh! I'd prefer our visitors not be exposed to such things... but perhaps it's just a piece of the gumbo I don't appreciate.

The 420 garden is recovering from it's recent tragedies. The issues left me short on both clones and blooming plants.
I retrieved my AC unit finally. It had been collecting dust at a different locale. The temps are way up at the edge of what I can do without AC and the forecast call for even warmer air... good timing.
I've been cutting and consuming the first of my Osmo plants. She was a top feed Osmo and didn't produce huge buds, but they've been exactly the same as my DynaGro fed girls. I'm hoping that the change to lower feeding fixes the size problem. No apparent taste from the lack of flush... tho a more discerning palette might disagree.
Got another 2L going.... feeding her the DynaGro nutes instead of Osmo. I just wanted to get a good plant going using well know variables.... a bit of an insurance policy for my clone program.
One of my Osmos is just starting flowering. I spread her and tied her just a bit. She's really shaping up nice.

Locally sourced bananas, radishes, coffee, and the very locally source bowls of OGK for breakfast. Should shape up to be a fun day. Nothing major planned except for some lawn mowing.

Oh! Almost forgot. I offer it every year... need a parking spot 1 block outside the front gate of Jazzfest? Just drop me a line... I'll hook ya up.

Photos as threatened....

Betty sends her love

Bloom area. OsmoGirl behind (top fed). Bottom/mid fed osmo tied down a touch up front. She's just finishing her stretch.

The veg tent. Clones making roots. The 2L is DynaGro fed. The one in the red bucket on the right is another mid/bottom fed osmo.

My Creole roundies are finally starting to show the slightest touch of red...

My monster cilantro is in full bloom and got knocked over by the wind the other day. Note the termite action in the treated garden timbers... the pressure treating only gets the outside layer and when you cut them or drill them, the termites eat them out and kind leave a hollow log behind. Crazy!

I just pulled up all my tomato plants, pumpkin, aubergine plants.. Just planted some cauliflower and broccoli.. Nice Garden...

Ahhh.... finally... all my threads visited! Phew!

I'm suitably impressed. I take it you keep yours under 100? Yeah, I'm not that disciplined. I gave up trying. Now I glance over the list, send loving thoughts to them as I give thanks that I'm blessed to care about so many individuals, then pick a spot I feel inclined to visit.

Like here. :battingeyelashes:  Mornin' Tead. :hugs:

I try to keep the herd thinned.... it can quickly build. Fortunately, I don't follow so many, so the list can naturally trim itself a bit.
Morning's off to a great run. Bloody marys and cinnamon rolls. Yowsa! It's nearing noonish... I'm certain some crawfish will appear somewhere on my horizon.
Sending you lots of good musical vibes!

So... Betty says to me... "Tead... don't you think it's time to get off your lazy ass and put an AC unit in here for me.... fucker!"

She's a foul mouthed little thing, that's for sure, but she had a good point.

Attempt #1. Yea... the morning smoke was good. It wasn't until after I plugged it in and actually went outside and TURNED IT ON before I realized the issue in play. I'll be you can spot it without hitting the power button.

20160424_121123.jpg

So... attempt #2 went somewhat smoother... but not nearly as funny.

I trundled off to mow the lawn. Betty gave me a smooch when I came back to peek on her...

Feeding, photos, and other stuff...

Recap for those not wanting to look back. We're currently trying an Osmocote+ feeding program in hempy buckets.
Here the currently flowering girl. She's been in 12/12 light since 4/13. Osmo distributed evenly thru the medium.

Sorry for the white background... I thought it would be a good idea, but perhaps not.
She's nicely spread out. I feel like her node spacing could be a bit tighter, but I always feel that way. Her color is nice and she's got the color variation between new growth and old that 'pleases my eye' if you will. I expect to see 6 or 8 major colas.

I had some recent catastrophes. White bucket... was I insane? Plugged hole... amateur move Tead.... we're not impressed.

2 girls in the veg tent. One is another osmo. The other is a 2L that I meant to make an osmo, but spaced putting the osmo in, so now she's getting a Dyna-Gro diet.

Cloning attempts going in perlite. I've been having good luck with the peat pucks lately and will clip some of the vegging ladies up for some more peat plug clones.

Temps are way up. Highs near 90. Nights down to mid 70's. Humidity has hit the roof as well. Our summer weather pattern may already have taken hold.

Jazzfest fills the neighborhood today. Starts a day early on the 2nd weekend. It's a very popular day with the locals as tourists are a touch thinner. Elvis Costello plays on my stage this evening. Lookin forward to hanging on the front porch and enjoying some Elvis.
