Tead's Indoor-ish, Winter, Hempy, OGK, SOG

There you go making me hungry again.

LOL! I can smell it from here Tead. I'll be right over.

I make it in huge batches and share it with all the folks in my world. Got about 3 gallons of it. Stop by... I'll put some fresh rice on and we'll stuff our faces. Bring some interesting beer... something light to go with the heavy beans... perhaps a nice chilled Hefeweizen.

See sue like i said everytime i stop by teads journal i get hungry lol

I know... it's always about food. I mean, there's just not a lot to babble about on the plant front. Everything is flowing smoothly.

So, on fairly frequent occasion, I like to put our public transportation system to work.
Locals are just so friendly and talkative that a 10 minute bus ride can turn into a discussion with 5 or 6 other riders.
What do you suppose the most frequent topic is?

The assembled product simmered 12hrs... Might have to have some breakfast beans.

I know... it's always about food....

Who would have ever known you were from Louisiana? I gain weight just thinking about going into Cajun country. Crawfish etouffee, gumbo, oysters Rockefeller, jambalaya with leftover sausage... mmmmmm.

I gotta go cook something.

6 different feeding mixes... killin a lazy man dammit! Gonna do Osmos for a while I think... unless flowering sux.

Osmos lookin good tead . are you topdressing weekly and what is the ph of their waterings ?

Welcome rhet!

I've found that Osmo+ includes Magnesium, so I dropped that out of the mix for the Osmo girls. I had been adding 1tsp epsom salt.
They get 1/8tsp silica, 1tsp milk, and sometimes a drop of Superthrive /gallon.
When I add more Osmo+ to the mix, I do it before I water. I spread it evenly over the top, then massage it down into the medium about 2 or 3 inches with a vibrating movement. Then I mix it all up more as deep as I can without touching root mass. The idea being to create a even mix as deep as I can.
I'm not top dressing on any schedule. I monitor the plant's colors and add as needed. I assume the osmo+ that I add today really don't contribute much to today's watering. I see it breaking down over time in the coming days, then contributing to the nute levels later. I'm trying to predict the plant's needs a bit.

Man... I was just staring at that bud porn photo from 4th gear. Wow! Good photo. It doesn't look that impressive in real life... but I sure am diggin that photo.

I was just closing the tent up for the night. I take those words back.... that's an awesome looking young bud and the pic is not worthy.

No signs of twist or burn... always good when you're bumping up a nute schedule.

Forgot a piece of the bean recipe... bay leaves... 6 of em.... don't eat 'em!

I really don't see myself ever bothering with a cultivation method that requires me to worry about PH. You call yourself a lazy gardener, but I have you beat by a mile. :laughtwo: You, however, do this so well you make me smile. The plants obviously appreciate your ability to understand their needs in advance. That speaks to an attentive nature. You have a lucky spouse. :circle-of-love:

And you can cook. Damn!

Are you tempted by the essential oils yet?

Always with the thought provoking words Sue.

I'm the lucky spouse let me assure you. A few simple meals fall somewhat shy of making me a charming mate. They do help tho...

And I'll disagree with your simplicity and lazy words. While it's true, I could grow in soil with a nice easy mix of some sort... been there done that. If one wants the speed of a hydro grow, hempy pots gotta be the easiest laziest option available. Hell, I'm even trying to eliminate feeding chores with the Osmo+ grows.
Tho I may have to start using the phrase "laziest hydro grower".
Oh... and don't think I'm not blushing at your words none the less. Thanks!

I'm just so spray adverse in the bloom room. It's a rule set in concrete for me. Bad juju. Things will grow. 90f and 90rh help nobody.
I soooooo wanna do it. Drooling over the damn snow caps!
