Tead's Indoor-ish, Winter, Hempy, OGK, SOG

Discovery made. Happy you got a chance to enjoy some mother nature... even if it's just some mini golf.

Can one imagine any benefits from adding the mix to a regular feeding routine? Does the oil mix need to be applied topically?

I'm working on figuring this one out today or tomorrow. I'm flying home at 6:30 tomorrow morning, so I may not get it done until then.

If I don't get the chance again today, let me take time to say "Have a wonderful day Tead. Fill it with sparkling little moments of joy and laughter." :circle-of-love:

:laughtwo: Oh, it's going to be a long day filled with SweetSue being unbearably excited about getting home. :yahoo:

OkilyDokily... photos and feeding.
Abbreviated set of photos.... but some special shots for Lex.

She's really good looking right now. Great nodes... great spacing and coloring. Sweet all around.
Watering her has become a bit different. The medium has become very thick with all the root action. Takes forever for the water to drain thru. I water it till the medium floats... then wait a bit... do it again... probably some runoff... let it settle and float the medium one more time. This gives me good runoff amounts. Lots of bubbles in the first bit of the runoff.
I can soooooo see a root problem developing in bloom. I'm gonna toss her under the bloom lights soon. I might have to do 1gal containers in the future.

2-L girl looks good but ya i would flip soon. Im sure she will bush really nice during the first two weeks of flowering. Your other girls look great too btw! Lol. Nice bud!

I hope to avoid having them visit my tent at any point. I have enough to deal with having those partying thrips to eradicate. Ahhh..... The things we learn growing, eh?

Learning hurts... a pain we strive to experience daily.

Ya know... Tead's got nothing but a tin shed door betwixt his babies and the swarms of enemies at the gate. To be honest, I really just don't understand how they don't eat my crop daily. I stroll in from the back yard, rarely even knocking any dirt off my feet. I know damn well that if my plant were on the outside of that door, the feasting would begin on day1.
I've never really understood that aspect. It really doesn't make much sense to me. I haven't seen a bug on a plant in at least a year.

Ya know... there may be a good bit of truth in those words.
No soil. No home for the buggins. I do vacuum (hoovering... for those across the pond) somewhat regularly trying to remove any bug homes.
I treat with neem. It works by being ingested by the buggins first, so a bug flies in, finds no soil to build a house, takes a nibble of a leaf, then dies off.

On a somewhat related note, I've discovered another awesome use for pyretherin. I believe I previously spoke of the shit-bird tenant that left in the night leaving me on the hook for a few utility bills and a bunch of missing rent. Well, they left the apartment damaged and disgusting (of course!) with what appeared to be maple syrup residue all over the kitchen. In the deep south, this is an equation for instant cockroach action... and yes, they were visiting pretty hard around the sink and dishwasher (OMG you shoulda seen inside there!) area. A bug chaser friend of mine gave me some words... he said any of the "-retherin" bug sprays would be effective.
I sprayed my pyretherin spray all in and around the kitchen sink and dishwasher area... next day, nothin!
Gotta pick up some more cans of pyretherin.... sure comes in handy 'round the house.

Ya i figured the lack of soil probably factors in there somewhere lol. What is pyretherin? I have had pest so im not familiar with products of that nature lol.

OH!!!! You know not the charms of pyrethrin !?!?
It's a chem... squeezed from Chrysanthemums. Kills spider mites quick and good. Kills off most other things too.
You'll find lots of different versions of it in your local garden store. I order stuff called CV-80D from Amazon. It's made to use in a barn or milking parlor... has an aerosol propellant (not safe for plants), so it's totally not made for plants, but works very well none the less. I avoid problems with the propellant by fogging it above the plants and allowing it to fill the area with the fog.

Alright! Hmmm i suppose you could probably grow some Chrysanthemums in a grow room as a repellent too don't ya think?

I can't remember but are you the one growing aloe vera? (im probably wrong and thinking of some one else lol). I been curious about growing that and trying to use juice from it to clone.
