Hej Scottay, thank you - i hope it will be better than a jar cure at least… I have another strain in my tent, Buddha Tahoe OG, which grows under better light and temp conditions. I‘‘ll try some of it to cob, too. Has another three weeks to finish bloom.Looks like you got everything under control!! I bet it'll be some good cob!!
I'm pretty sure over the past several years on this thread has pretty much agreed that it really helps the quality/smoothness. Plus I like the idea of avoiding mold during cure. It also is a more convenient way to store it. Happy Wednesday! Looks like another nice plant coming along.Hej Scottay, thank you - i hope it will be better than a jar cure at least… I have another strain in my tent, Buddha Tahoe OG, which grows under better light and temp conditions. Tenting is the only chance for me to get big bud results, because in fall we often have lots of rain here… The other way are autos, because we often have quite nice summers, but autos seem not to have the full potential of the original strain to me. Otherwise i like sungrown more than under artificial lights. Anyway, i‘ll try next year some of the Ace sativas - hoping for a sunny fall.
Hiho my cobfriends, here a my ones. Above 5 „only vac“ cobs, each around 30 g. Nr. 4 a bit more, around 45 g wet. The picture was made after the 7-8 days precure at ~26 Celsius. (Stage 2 after sweat) the sweat was around 26 hours. Each a bit different, because it took me 4 days to cut and make them all, plants had very tiny buds). Lots of mold due to rainy weather…
They look well done my friend just slow dry them until they feel dry to the touch then reseal them for a few weeks before slow drying them again.Hiho my cobfriends, here a my ones. All look a bit different, Nr. 1 and Nr. 4 come with a smoother surface, which has the shitty reason, that the vac wasn stable and little bit of air entered the „vac“. I‘m not sure if i‘d better threw them in the bin… The other were more sticky in the vacbag and plantparts were more upstanding after peeling out of the vac. Although i cutted them so early its quite sticky. Each one smells a bit different, one like kind of salami…
So i just tried 0,25 gs chewing, which gets more and more in my mouth…
One question to the professionals:
The following cure after the drying, do i have to cure it for one month and more at which temperature? In my cellar its 18 Celsius, ist that too cold?
Following my other three malawistyle cobs, which all smell the same, they are around 25 g wet.
Hi Tangwena, thank you for answering so fast. I thought, its only one drying session after the seven days warm period. Now I know better... thanks so much! They look well done my friend just slow dry them until they feel dry to the touch then reseal them for a few weeks before slow drying them again.
After 3 or 4 slow drying sessions a few weeks apart they will be done and ready to seal up again to age.
The colors look on point so now its just slow drying and then aging nice job.
Hey my friend..... They look really good!! Nice dark color on them too!! I'm 33 days in flower with my 3. I want to cob all three but I also wanna make a couple of mixed strains of the 3 and see what effects that has. Sooo many strains. So many options!! Hurry up and wait!! Happy Saturday to you, too, Scottay, you strain hunter! Which thee strains you have in your tent? Are you also one of the the sativa-gang?Hey my friend..... They look really good!! I have been using a cheap dehydrater which I already had with a therostate .Here you can see my little „heatlab“. Its swiss made and named cultura M. Works from 25' to 45’ Celsius. Came with American 115 V power connection, got it cheap for 35,- euros at ebay. You dont really need it, but i like stuff like that. It has a thermostate you can adjust at the small orange screw on the left.
Hi Chungo, i think must of the cobbers use your equipment, best…I have been using a cheap dehydrater which I already had with a therostate .
Hej, many ace/GT-fans here on this channel. I like to try next time also.
My next cobs in about 4-6weeks from these 2 Golden Tiger 3.0 from Ace seeds. Have been smoking last years GT 3.0 cobs and very pleased.
I love sativa's and indicas and hybrids hahahaHappy Saturday to you, too, Scottay, you strain hunter! Which thee strains you have in your tent? Are you also one of the the sativa-gang?
Yo… i find it sometimes a bit confusing, how many - maybe hundreds - different kinds of strains exist… i mean, how can one find the right ones for oneself? Trying them all? lolI love sativa's and indicas and hybrids hahaha
Currently I have all hybrid. One is Hound Dog in a 6 gallon fabric pot. The second one is a Cap Junky x Hound Dog and it's in a 7 gallon. And the other 7 gallon is White Widow x Cheese. Tomorrow will be 35 days in flower. I plan on cobbing most of it
I love indica for pain relief and for an evening but I prefer the sativa. When it really rings my bell upstairs and gives me energy. I mainly vape my material but I much prefer eating it. Have you had a chance to eat/smoke any of your cobs? They look like they should be pretty good!!Yo… i find it sometimes a bit confusing, how many - maybe hundreds - different kinds of strains exist… i mean, how can one find the right ones for oneself? I thought, i‘m a sativa man - for many years, but recently tried a fat indica, and must say, was great, too. But in comparison to sativas complete knockout at some beach for more than an hour. With high psychoactivity, which i found very interesting…. What would you suggest, how to find out, which strains do well fit for oneself?
