Tangwena's Malawi-Style Cob Cure: Fermented Cannabis

Well the 2 golde tiger are now cobs and in 2 weeks of 76 F. The fat 4 cobs I rolled in plastic wrap and didn't vacum pack. Those 4 dried in 2 day of sweating the other 5 were vacum packed and still moist and look good.

Nice work man they look delicious it will be good to compare the highs of the dry and darker cures.
Wish I could give them a try myself GT 3 is something I've always wanted to grow.

Hi Chungo, very well done, look all perfect to me - especially the dark ones. Why did you do two versions? Which differences do you expect? All in all your cobs seem with the best ones i‘ve seen here imo. 👍🙌👏
I have also a 7 week old GT3 in my tent, how long will flowering time be? ~120 days?

I switched to 12/12 after 30 days because many growers report that they might get to tall otherwise.

The fat dry cobs were not planed they were just wrapped in plastic wrap but not vacuum packed when I started them at 140 degrees. So unfortunatly they dried way to quick. Flower time for these I cut them down at 110 days with no amber tricombs yet. I had issues with aphids and got tired of dealing with them. Depending on tricomb color desired I would expect 120 min with this GT 3.0. When I flipped to flower I went to 11/13 which seemed to work in controlling the stretch.

Yeah the dry ones will be interesting as I put all of the cobs together and a humidity pack in with to see if I can them to rehydrate a bit over the next 2 weeks of 77 F. Oh well they will still work just not top shelf.

👍 ok, thanks. I will soon switch to 11/13 also, good idea 👏 cu

Once the sativas start flowering strongly I drop to 10/14 and even 9/15 towards the end it hurries them up nicely and you still get fat buds.
Sounds good to me thank you!!!
As its quite cold in my cellar (13,5‘ C) now, i realized, that the lowest „dark“- temperature goes down to 16,5 C (air) in the lower third of the tent. As i use a 80x80 cm heatmat underneath the pots which is inkbird controlled, i have now hot feet and cold heads when lights are out: substrat temperature while dark is up to 26,5’ Celsius (deep down needle-measured in soil of each pot) Could that be too high as soil temperature for the roots? 🧐
(GT, GT3, Malawi Panama, Zamaldelica).
From which point of substrate temperature would it be to high for the roots and plant) Would 28’ Celsius in soil be still ok? All mentioned plants are mainly planned for cobbing. ✌️😎

I have no idea but if the roots are warm cant be a bad thing.
