Daily Update: Dark Devil Auto - Day 23
It's time for a coconut/aloe drench today, and this one will include, for the very first time, a sprinkling of TM-7, a powdered form of humic acid and other micro nutrients.
This is the type of stuff that keeps these no-till pots humming along, cycle after cycle. The enzyme teas get the addition of fulvic acid, and every other week from here on out the aloe vera juice/coconut water drenches get TM-7. BlueJay also recommends the addition of Agsil to the aloe/ coconut drenches, but I make up that silica need with occasional dusting of diatomaceous earth and the fact that my soil mix is rich in rice hulls, a source of silica that the biota can easily access, when needed.
Today's drench was
- 1 quart of rainwater
- 1/4 cup of aloe vera juice
- 1/4 cup coconut water
- less than 1/8 tsp of TM-7
I carefully split the quart between both pots, trying to get even surface coverage so it's not all dumped in isolated spots.
The TM-7 explodes into a particulate cloud when you add it. Very fine particulate matter. This stuff make a serious mess with just a couple bits on the counter and a drop of water. Handle with care. Stir or shake to get it thoroughly incorporated before watering.
So, let's peek in on our lovely little Devil. I get all excited to see her every morning. It's the very first thing I do after rolling out of bed.
I know the next two are almost identical shots, but what's a Canna Mom to do? I didn't think anyone would mind.
I can't leave without pink shots. She'd never forgive me for not letting her strut her stuff in pink.
Of course the pot got the daily 1/4 turn to get the most benefit from the light. She's so obviously appreciating this gesture on my part. Growing straight up now. The reservoirs got topped off. The pot without cannabis (for now - I'll be recharging some leftover LOS that is a bit dry and starting some seeds) took a full three cups and the Devil took two cups to reach an acceptable level. It's a loose and free kind of watering technique, but the plants love it.
I'm taking the time to play with Callanetics this morning before dashing out. My body really needs the workout and the lengthening. We've talked and decided that I need two mornings a week to keep my own body healthy and strong. I prefer three, but two will more than suffice with Callanetics. If I'm going to be a trophy wife I need the time to get the body there. Like Dale cares. LOL! What this routine does for the core and the body as a whole - well, I've been seriously neglecting it. Time to make that right. It's imperative that I stay at the peak of health and fitness going forward.
I used to be all about Callanetics. It was my overriding passion. The Callanetics forums have lost me almost entirely to this community. Although I can share my passion for Callanetics there, this community was a place where I could let all of me come to the surface. You've allowed me to blossom into someone I suspected was there but was never given free rein until now.
I can't thank you all enough for letting that happen and for accepting this crazy woman just the way she is.
Have a splendid, joy-filled day. Soak up the sun where you can and spread that joy around all over. Listen for the lilt of children's laughter today. Let it sink into your own core and remember the thrill of childlike discovery.
