Haha! There will never be enough light, will there?

The G400 is a sweet light Jones. I have no experience with that one, only with the GR240. In my opinion the Carnival I grew under it was every bit as frosty as any previous specimens. Big, healthy trichomes too. My node spacing on her was just right for the plant size. I kept the light at 12" through flower. Hmmm...wonder if it would improve if it were a bit higher?
Do the plants benifit more from the light being closer or farther away? I figured closer would alow the plant to get more from the light as long as it wasn't burning the plant or am I wrong?

Sue....that Malawi is turning into a real beast!!! Awesssooommeee!! Can't wait to see the harvest off this gal! :volcano-smiley:

You got it Jones, but you also have to take into consideration the footprint of the light. If your panel optimally covers say, 3x3 at 24" and you put the light significantly closer you cut out part of the broadcast spectrum. Find the sweet spot and you're good. Believe me, I've learned this the hard way.

Morning Scottay. :hugs: I suspect by the time she's done she'll fill the verticle space. :laughtwo: We have a ways to go before I'll be scheduling a chop. :battingeyelashes:

Looking sweet in the garden!

Why thank you PW. I feel enormously blessed to have found a way to get consistently Happy charges. This year we up the game with more lumens. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Good morning everyone

I'm ice-bound today. It turned out to be a good thing that the daughter and I took a stroll in yesterday's springlike weather to the grocery store because no one in their right mind wants to be out there today. Ice covered with snow makes for some tricky maneuvering, which I personally won't be testing out. Lol!

As I roll into the shower for a steamy wake-up I wanted to encourage you to engage the universal forces in play today. Too often our response to what we witness is lacking the curious wonder devoid of judgement that creates that joyful vibration you want the universe picking up on. I don't know about you, but if you become what you think and attract what you feel I want what I'm thinking and feeling to be influenced by a constant stream of loving thoughts. That way what I'm creating is a world that reflects that love back to me.

See how that works? Suspend the need to judge, engage the universal forces in joyful play, fill your moments with loving thoughts, watch your world transform into wonder.

And that my friends, is what I hope for each and every one of you. :hugs::hugs::hugs:

Get out there and have fun. I insist. :battingeyelashes:

Look at how she loves this light. :yahoo:

I can't wait to get double the wattage over her. :slide:

Thank you Sue. That was a lovely start to my day. Do you also do audio books? Have a feeling you could do well there ;)

:laughtwo: Good morning Joe. :hugs:

My daughter tells me I have a sultry voice. She agrees with you. Lol!

So....since I'm gonna be icebound today why not start the day with a double dose of Blue Dream brownies? :laughtwo:

Walking past this girl is amazing. She's giving off a rich fruitiness I don't remember smelling in the previous two. Intoxicating!

That Malawi sure is a beauty Sue! I can't wait to see how she turns out. I love her wispy leaves! I love coming here with my morning coffee! Have a wonderful day!

Hahaha I would have been happy with James Earl Jones but now you’ve made my day. It was your writing I admired Sue ;)

Well thank you Joe. It's nice to know the posts hit the mark. The stuff bubbles out of me of its own accord. Lol!

Those whispy leaves make my heart go pitter-pat too LadyG. I'm hoping she ends up on the floor before harvest, just climbing all over. I can work out some way to keep them upright, should they get so heavy with blooms that they begin to fall over. Who doesn't love being confronted with sturdy branches bowing over with heavy fruit? :laughtwo:

:hugs:  :hugs:

Sweet Update Sue

:passitleft:

Thanks Amadeus. :hugs:  :hugs:

Where's Pigeons this morning? I expected his wake 'n bake to be earlier during hockey season. My notifications have been screwing up this past week. YouTube seems to be falling apart. The daughter thinks he should move to Twitch.

....... Sorry....... :passitleft:

I know right, didnt see yesterdays garden update yet so i dont know if he gave any clues as to his timings today. I'm waiting for him too but Mrs A wants to go shopping! :passitleft:

Haha! I was glad to see you there Amadeus. :passitleft: All that break time and missed notifications. I was missing the community.

Here..... Have some Blue Dream. :passitleft: I decided to make the whole day Blue Dream. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Even drying she's a beauty. :dreamy:

She has a fruity smell I don't remember from the previous girls. As I walked by just now I got a strong wiff of mango. :slide:

Just a quick question

Do you always trim after drying and if so, what is the difference in effect, medically and recreationally?

Actually I don't often hang to dry anymore. I'm more likely to make it into fresh harvest oil, dry it low and slo in the fridge, or do a flash dry in the dehydrator. This girl has nanners I want to harvest, and that's why she's treating me to this wonderful aromatherapy as I walk past her all day long. :laughtwo:

When I do hang to dry I prefer to trim after drying. I used to trim before drying, but after giving it lots of thought I determined that leaving everything attached and letting the fans embrace the buds helps to slow down the process a little. In winter the humidity levels in this apartment typically fall into 20-30%.

I know there's this big culture around slow drying GS fast drying, but I've played with enough methods now to believe that it doesn't much matter how fast they dry, with the exception of the low and slo, which continues to amaze us at the terpene expressions we didn't notice when we hang dry. That can be attributed to the decreased loss of monoterpenes, I'm certain. When we hang dry many of the monoterpenes are evaporated within the first few days.

Now, there's plenty more of them in those buds that don't get released into the atmosphere, but when you retain more by keeping the drying buds cool and undisturbed you get some pretty amazing results.

Good morning everyone:Love:

It's a bright and beautiful Sunday morning. Cold as it is I may need to get out in the sunshine. I'm out of bread and green tea, so it's a sure bet I'll get to the store. Need to keep the body demethylating the receptors, you know. :laughtwo:

I just stopped to tell you all how much I love you. :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

Catch you later. :ciao:
