I have some catching up to do page2...
"And the beat goes on....."
Where did you get that if you don't mind me asking. Looks a lot like the one I thought up in my head as I was working in my outdoor beds this last spring. Would certainly make my life easier!
Morning SuperSue
Ya lots of changes and challenges on the website and phones
The new forum software is a week or so away so we just have to be patient for a bit longer
Ditch, a smile just for you.
I'm harvesting to a playlist I put together from songs you shared.
"La de da de de, la de da de da"
Just couldn't resist.
Sheesh.... scarred by Sonny and Cher.
I have some catching up to do page2...
Good evening, Sue......I have settled on 7 strains that I rotate constantly based on the needs of my patients, in what is now a tremendous offering of sativa, indica, and hybrids.
I have a total of 6 grows going on simultaneously at all times with the cloner, veg, and 4 groups of flowering plants in the 2 grow rooms.....the strongest point of my personality is the ability to multitask and maintain extreme organization. My grow doesn't really take that much time because of list making and knowing exactly what I need to do for the grow when I wake up every day. The kit makes it a no brainer for me. I harvest 3 weekends a month.
Of course, I also take care of an alzheimers patient 3 days per week, consult on the phone with patients and ever increasing referrels. , deliver meds and lunch with my patients, work a couple days on demand to help my patient #1 to re-cover furniture for her interior design business, visit my folks once a week, who live 1 hour away....
And then I maintain my farm, which is another labor of love.....10 acres, 5 outbuildings, mowing the lawn, weeding the flower beds, feeding and caring for the barnyard animals, mending pasture fences and whatever else needs attention.....
During the winter I am a voracious reader, I like to drink green tea, and have a fire going....
Oh, I also love to cook and entertain.......drink wine.....funny, my friends all drink wine....none do the cannabis....my patients have become my smoking or medible buddies, of which I am trying to become more brave, with your help along with Lady G.
Anyway, Sue, I have created my own fantasy fun land here on the Shawnee Ranch, because I can....never a dull moment....rescuing animals.....
Maybe that explains why I don't have a journal, please don't hold it against me....also trying to advocate and spend a moment on myself in 2018 and not be so worried about everyone else.....I need to address my own brain....
I thank you for all your help and waking me up to the fact that I can't help others if my own bad self is being neglected.....
You'll have this song stuck in my head now.
Good morning Tead. Don't you just love harvesting?
MagicJim, for some reason your post vanished right before my eyes. Never had that happen before.
Repost, please.
Trimmin up a UD a touch early to feed the need this morning. I'm such a damn weed snob these days... my last plant suffered woes and produced less than stellar weed... a little UD has me alright these days. I have homegrown genetics coming up... both mine and other's. Ox (UD x ?), CRUD (Crit+2.0 x UD), and a lone auto SSDC. Fun stuff these days.
Thank you for the welcome. I don't have much else to do so I'll jist plod along enjoying the read...You'll have this song stuck in my head now.
Good morning Tead. Don't you just love harvesting?
Oh Baby, take Tead's advice. I'm a serious challenge to keep up with on a daily basis across numerous threads. Read the back pages for fun when you have more time. Join us here on the current page so we can get to know you before all those pages scare you away.
Good to meet you, by the way. I've seen your digital footprints and was wondering when you'd step out and say "Hello." Make yourself comfy and enjoy the crew. I've a harvest to get back to. Those buds won't wash themselves.
........Carnival!!!
Ok UrbanAchiever, I use a boxed mix, but I'm thinking of switching back to making them from scratch. When I do I'll be looking at substituting Medjool dates for the sugar, thanks to the input by LadyGaea. I'd like to reduce my sugar consumption this year.
I'd think using honey would be very doable.
OOooooh dates are a great idea, very sweet, and would compliment the brownie texture perfectly. Gooey sticky goodness. Hmmm I will be keeping my eye out for you to try that out. Cheers
Monk fruit extract is gaining popularity as a zero-calorie sweetener. It is being used in diet foods as well as being sold on its own as a sugar replacement under the name Nectresse.Indigenous to southern China and northern Thailand, a monk fruit looks a little like a melon but is technically a gourd. The name comes from the fact that monks initially harvested it 800 years ago.
Unlike most fruits, monk fruit isn't sweet due to natural sugars. Instead it contains a unique type of antioxidant called mogroside that provides a level of sweetness upwards of 200 to 500 times greater than table sugar.
