SweetSue's Perpetual 3.0 - The Hempy/HB Hybrid Grow

Hi SweetSue, how are you?

Thanks for the warning on the pic, easy peasy just to skip, appreciate that.

Question for you. I know our recipe's differ so I would love to pick your brain. In my MB2 recipe I always add lecithin to my recipe before the infusion takes place. Why would you add it to oil after when it's necessary for to amplify the absorbtion of the trich's? Does it really matter what time it's added? Or ssn't it easier and same results if you just add it earlier? Isn't it a bit more work to add the lecithin afterwards? Just curious, I'm open to learning...:)

EDIT: Taking my dose of oil in your journal...tehehehe

I'm with you, Sue....no filters in my house and at this point, 4 years in, am oblivious to any smell of the 72 plants growing downstairs....It just smells like home

Jesus....72 plants, wow. Not to get too personal Shawnee, but what is your states legal limit? I can only have 12 and that blows big time.

Beats my 6.... well I guess 12 if you count the veggsters. Luckily their was a court ruling that allows up to 25 plants in Alaska, but I'm not totally sure if the new "relegalization" trumped that ruling?

Gotta love that the Alaska reps are banning together to take on Session' s BS.... and believe it or not, one dem, one rep, and 1 independent. Looks like cannabis reform may be the push that will help people realize that we are fighting for the same rights and the corrupt government is the one fighting to keep us divided....

Hopefully Uncle Beauregard's recent decision will light a fire under some congressional butts and deschedule cannabis all together. :circle-of-love::peace:

I really think its past the point of no return for the legalization. The internet and social media really changed people's perceptions regarding cannabis. Too much access to the healing stories of Cannabis against many different ailments and diseases. Before the internet and social media, we were easily brainwashed by the agenda of the powers that be. But in today's world, videos of people with Parkinsons and seizures using cannabis oil for a chance at normal lives. Too many videos of children (think Kreed's World) with autism and other issues being treated successfully with cannabis allowing them a shot at enjoying life instead of being a prisoner to it. The opiate epidemic is showing people how bad big pharm is and the destruction of lives that they are responsible for.......and too many people are seeing cannabis as a much safer and effective alternative to opiates. The establishment will continue to try to fight for the special interest groups but times are changing my friends. Its only a matter of time....just keep pushing and keep voting and keep letting your elected officials know your stance.

Wow. Very eloquently stated van! I totally agree .. The revoLOVEtion has begun. And yes I stole that slogan from the scumbag that is Raúl Grijalva.... the only positive contribution I saw him make while in AZ was this clever pun....

High gang, I am in Michigan, which currently has a terrific medical program going on....As a Caregiver, I have the maximum patients allowed by the state, which is 6, including myself. I can grow 12 plants in each person's name for a total of 72. I have 2 flower rooms and a cloning/ veg room; about 1800 square feet total. I have my trimming station down there, drying shelf, curing table, and cloning bubbler. I have a blast down there; always something to do. I harvest 3 weekends out of every month based on my 8, 9, and 10 week strains.

I manage to pull it all off by keeping a large desktop calendar with what strains are in each flower room and what Doc Bud High Brix each set of plants need for the week. Most of the time, each of the flower rooms have 2 separate grows going on as far as time tables.....I tackle this elephant by myself by breaking it all down into manageable bites.

Sue, I have my soil in multiple tubs just like you do. I'll put the amendment in the middle of the soil and then more soil on top. I mix it around with a small shovel.....works well for me.

I have a great tool that I used in my raised beds. It works great for mixing soil in containers.

I've used this tool in the garden and never thought of it until you posted that. :laughtwo: I haven't had an outdoor garden since 1999 and that tool is long gone, but I can get another. :cheesygrinsmiley: That would make my life so much easier!

LadyG, what size containers do you use to mix your soil?

Shawnee, I was getting ready to stop and explain your status as a legal caregiver when I noticed you'd been here. :battingeyelashes: Slowly but surely I'm figuring out how to make it flow. I've identified my core chemovars and have a list of what I intend to get into rotation this year. Of course, there's never enough available flowering slots. Lol!

Graytail once explained to start at the intended harvest date and work it backwards. Hmmmm..... This planning part is still a learning experience. I admire your system Shawnee. To successfully coordinate that large a production takes great courage and loads of passion. I can see how using the kit would make it easier and more enjoyable. My little garden of 14-15 often ties up my entire day, when you factor in processing. What kind of life do you have beyond your gardening? :laughtwo:

Mmmmm..... I'm getting wafts of smell coming down the hall from this drying Devil's Carnival.

I noticed that this one has a fruitier flavor to her perfume, very, very akin to the Jamaican. Caught me off guard walking by. I'll have to wait until this one dries and gets a minimal cure in to do a fair comparison. Interesting....

I got curious and measured her. She's about 31", top to bottom.

Patience, grasshopper. :laughtwo: In time you'll get your taste. Have you ever tried Malawi?

Ever just review your last post and think, :OMG...I've turned into one of those old maid type ladies...No disrespect was meant to my beloved Home Depot! Too many times I have gone in looking for a solution to my "plant" issues! I love my big plastic mixing contained that I did not pay premium price for... said the girl who just discovered GSC...

 I never go into a store that I don't turn on the alert button for that unexpected unknown that may be hiding within that I can use in the garden.

Almost never at full price. :laughtwo:

I just figured out tonight that I can delineate between you and Grow2HealMe, who also goes by Lady G, by simply remembering to put a space in her name. Ok.... Solved that delimma. :laughtwo:

Good evening, Sue......I have settled on 7 strains that I rotate constantly based on the needs of my patients, in what is now a tremendous offering of sativa, indica, and hybrids.

I have a total of 6 grows going on simultaneously at all times with the cloner, veg, and 4 groups of flowering plants in the 2 grow rooms.....the strongest point of my personality is the ability to multitask and maintain extreme organization. My grow doesn't really take that much time because of list making and knowing exactly what I need to do for the grow when I wake up every day. The kit makes it a no brainer for me. I harvest 3 weekends a month.

Of course, I also take care of an alzheimers patient 3 days per week, consult on the phone with patients and ever increasing referrels. , deliver meds and lunch with my patients, work a couple days on demand to help my patient #1 to re-cover furniture for her interior design business, visit my folks once a week, who live 1 hour away....

And then I maintain my farm, which is another labor of love.....10 acres, 5 outbuildings, mowing the lawn, weeding the flower beds, feeding and caring for the barnyard animals, mending pasture fences and whatever else needs attention.....

During the winter I am a voracious reader, I like to drink green tea, and have a fire going....

Oh, I also love to cook and entertain.......drink wine.....funny, my friends all drink wine....none do the cannabis....my patients have become my smoking or medible buddies, of which I am trying to become more brave, with your help along with Lady G.

Anyway, Sue, I have created my own fantasy fun land here on the Shawnee Ranch, because I can....never a dull moment....rescuing animals.....

Maybe that explains why I don't have a journal, please don't hold it against me....also trying to advocate and spend a moment on myself in 2018 and not be so worried about everyone else.....I need to address my own brain....

I thank you for all your help and waking me up to the fact that I can't help others if my own bad self is being neglected..... :Namaste:

Ha ha! I did not put G2HM as Lady G at first and got confused on a couple of posts! I think I should just be LG from now on. LOL My husband thinks I have an unnatural like for home improvement stores! Poor guy tolerates my whims and fancies... but you have to admit, they have so much good solutions for the creative grower!

Where did you get that if you don't mind me asking. Looks a lot like the one I thought up in my head as I was working in my outdoor beds this last spring. Would certainly make my life easier!

I believe it's a Garden Weasel brand Weasel Garden Claw.

Thanks Sue....that will make my spring time much easier. I generally just use a hoe but the back doesn't like that much. That looks like I could use mostly arms and save myself a lot of pain and discomfort.
