SweetSue's Perpetual 3.0 - The Hempy/HB Hybrid Grow

Yes Blew, spurred on by your success. :battingeyelashes: Do you know the operating temps of this machine? I have three settings available, and I'm thinking the lowest one is the one I want.

Never mind, I found your post on the FHO thread. :battingeyelashes:

Also, to clarify, the Instant Pot @ low pressure (5.8psi) remains at a temp range of 229-232F.

I'll be doing my first attempt tomorrow. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Just doing a drive by... I see congrats are in order.... Get down with your bad azz.............. GL and Keepem Green

Oh man... haven't heard or lived those words in forever. I've embraced my share of the suck. Perhaps it's allowed me to laugh at some of the other bumps life can provide.
In chaos, there is opportunity... and I was one oportunistic M.F.
I can't tell you how the concept of only remembering the good times has helped me over the years. Even individual horrors have faded some and what remains is the memories of those gents that sucked that world with me. They fade in and out of my life... sometimes for good, but we somehow connect up with each other over the years... a very special lasting gift.

There is certainly something to be said for the obstacles we faced during those times and how they strengthen you for life outside of the Suck. Makes dealing with civilian life a piece of cake. I have a lot of friends that like to question why nothing seems to bother me or upset me. LOL, well after 22 years of the Suck, this walk seems pretty damn easy. Builds a lot of a character. I can't say just how much the ability to compartmentalize things has helped. Then when you have time to deal with whatever it was you put away in a little box in the corner of your mind, you can deal with it.

:woohoo: On my way to see Thor in IMAX. :yahoo:

Joyfulness pays big dividends. This is a treat from a loved one. Get really , really happy and watch what the universe brings to surprise and delight you.

On topic joy: Carnival's in her first week of bloom. Look at her go!

Time for super heros. :laughtwo:

:ciao:

Looks healthy.

Was the movie worth it?

Oh indeed it was. :laughtwo: I don't do movies often, but my daughter has me hooked on the Marvel Universe. :laughtwo: All of the characters have been woven through the story lines. It's such great action-packed fun. The humor they interject into the script keeps your howling with laughter.

I'm in awe of what Stan Lee has pulled off. The artistry of these productions is incredible, and when you sit through the credits and see the thousands of people who contributed to the production it leaves you a little breathless that someone could successfully coordinate such an undertaking.

I don't know if the IMAX is worth the $13 they charge. It was nice, but $13 for a matinee? Are we serious?

That daughter of mine does a good job of keeping her mother current. I no longer own a tv and I don't listen to the radio. Don't follow the news and couldn't care less about what tragedy went on in Kansas this morning, not that anything did - just that it doesn't have to impact my day with negativity. Television holds such promise, and they turned it into a venue for pharmaceutical companies to reinforce the idea that you need them to heal.

What a crock. I finally reached my limit and gave the damned thing away to a happy neighbor. :cheesygrinsmiley: My life immediately became appreciably less stressed without the talking black box. The daughter keeps me up to date in current events I don't notice online and drags me to movies she knows I'll enjoy. She lives in the next apartment and stops by every day to catch a buzz and catch up. Kind of a sweet arrangement. :battingeyelashes:

Good morning everyone

I like this new policy I started by which all the hempies now get drenches on the same day. It makes my life much easier. I always laugh that it takes me so long to make the shift to easier. :laughtwo: I have a completely free day today, something I haven't had since my last dip into unrestrained propagation. Lol!

On topic joy today is the latest CBD Critical Cure in flower, CBD CC 2.6. She's at Day 45 of flower, right smack in the middle of week 7. She's starting to make the spurt to the finish line. I'm going to adjust the nutrients to give her another week or so. I suspect I've been taking them too early. With soil I can just let them go, but I'm still learning to work the bottles.

Want a look in? :battingeyelashes: Here ya go.....

She smells incredibly delicious. :dreamy:

On a whim I plucked a leaf off and went for a closer look. The back surface took my breath away. To anyone who believes that CBD-dominant plants grow less oil, may I present evidence to the contrary. :battingeyelashes:

I just love these plants and their wonderful essential oils.

Finally got up the courage to test out the pressure cooker.

image19822.jpeg

I'll be making the first batch of oil in it this week. I decided to wait until the deposit goes in tomorrow to pick up a couple more supplies before doing the initial run, and then I think I'll start playing with it for cooking. It's been over two years since Dale passed. Sooner or later I have to start paying attention to eating more than snacks, healthy as they may often be. All those years of cooking experience need to benefit Susan alone, don't you think?

Which reminds me, hours of posting and no breakfast yet. You'd think I'd learn to walk past the iPad until I'm showered and fed, but you'd be wrong. Hahaha! Ahhhh..... You guys are my favorite pasttime, at least until I meet that next man I'll outlive. :laughtwo: That's gonna cause a serious disruption to my posting flow, won't it? We might all go into shock.

Alrighty team, time to get out there and make the universe sparkle just a wee bit more, egged on by our ability to demonstrate a talent for unconditional loving. We got this. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Later :ciao:

This is the pressure cooker Chris. I do have a little crock pot that I purchased recently, for oil-making and for winter soups.

image19823.jpeg

I have yet to do either in it. The pressure cooker will infuse and decarb in an hour's worth of pressured time. It'll be a godsend for oil production. I have a lot to learn about it though. I'll eventually start making brownie oil in it too.

Wow Sue - that's the sponsored tent with the carnival in flower isn't it? Totally rocking it in there!
It's come along fast and strong since the flip, or maybe more time has passed than I'm imagining. What size is that tent?

Btw - your diet seems healthy enough, well your omelettes sounds great .. You might look into something called intermittent fasting for ketosis because it seem to me you often do it anyway. There's different ways to do it, but many people just only eat between certain hours, or only when they're actively hungry. It's a powerful healing tool (doing wonders for me). One of the things it does is encourage a process called autophagy (look that up for some fun reading!). 3 meals a day ain't necessarily essential!

Thanks Amy. I eat mostly when I'm hungry, mand I do my best to have healthy options on hand when hunger hits. I gave up schedules when Dale passed. That part of my life hasn't reverted yet. I find I grow ever fonder of the unstructured life. That life just turned into an afternoon with the girls. One is treating me to a haircut and then we're going walking along the river. Life is sweet. :battingeyelashes:

The tent is 2x2. I'm very happy with the performance of the sponsored light. I've decided that one plant in each 2x2 tent or similar space is optimal. Look at how beautiful the Candy Cane is in the closet, all by herself under those 200 watts of indoor sun.

CBD CC 2.6 feels the same relief at having space to spread the blossoms out.

Carnival...... Geez, she's a lovely one. She loves the light.

Two days in a row I've clicked the lights up. We'll be doing this a few more days. :laughtwo:

Looking very healthy in here sue. I love your pictures dear. I’m making coconut oil in my MB2 as I write this. 67 grams of bud got decarbed this morning. Smells so delightful!

I made my infused oil with 65 grams (seeded buds), 1 TBS Lecithin and ~350 ml EVOO. Stuff works.

Great looking buds there Grandpa....looking really special. :goodjob:

Oh yeah - it's Carnival in the sponsored tent! So many tents, I lose track. ;)
Well she's looking swell too! (But you can see how I thought 'holy moley!' thinking the CBD CC was where the carnival was at!

Looking forward to watching my CBD CC grow up under the sun. Still contemplating my options re topping or supercropping or letting it just be and see what shape it takes.... decisions...

Thanks. I use lecithin also. Probably a dumb question, but what is EVOO?
