SweetSue's Perpetual 3.0 - The Hempy/HB Hybrid Grow

Oh the nug jars yummy :yummy:
have a tropical day :ciao:

Good morning keltic. :hugs: You have a delicious day of your own.

Good morning everyone

Let's start the day with some lovely shots of the garden. Isn't it humorous how one can casually stroll into a grow space and get lost for over thirty minutes simply admiring th progression of growth and maturity? :laughtwo:

I love the way the trichomes jump onto the fans. :slide: Blue Dream was demonstrating this in the most delightful way this morning.

This was just such a perfect shot of her symmetry that I had to share it with you.

A wonderfully healthy specimen. They all stun me with their vigor. Next one grows in soil.

Pigeons just started the wake 'n bake. :woohoo: Be back later. :ciao:

Mr Am4zin, when you stop to say hello, leave me a smoke report on the CBD Critical Cure please. :battingeyelashes:

:hugs:  :hugs:

Good Morning Sue (again :))

CBD Critical Cure I got a sativa leaning pheno that had spindly thin branches and ridiculous stretch. Buds were falling over 4 weeks into flower. The buds finished quite light and airy but smoke very well. It has a very sweet fragrance to it.

It keeps me quite motivated and kills the pain in my shoulder, not many strains do that. I made some brownies with it a couple of months ago, they kicked ass. I'm gonna have to grow it again at some point.

:passitleft:

I love the fragrance of the chemovar's flowers. The one I have in flower now is kicking it up a notch and makes me droll when I open the tent. Mine is an indica dom, perfect for the daughter. Rad grew one that was a sativa dominant. You should compare notes with him.

I've never thought to make this one into brownies. I'll have to make a special pan. We may discover they work for nighttime meds for the daughter. I may discover I like it better as brownies than as capsules.

Be sure to drop a smoke report here, if you have time. I'm sure you'll leave it on your journal, so that would work for me as well. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Amen!!! :circle-of-love:

It's such a beautiful day here that I'm heading out to walk the river. Drenches are done, and I'm tired of reclaiming perlite. :laughtwo: It's a never-ending job. I'm making headway though. You can almost walk through my kitchen again. Lol!

The brownie has been ingested. :cheesygrinsmiley: Pigeons 420 throws my Saturday's off with the early wake 'n s morning it was Devil's Carnival, finishing off th little bits I'd left out last night. That buzz lasted much longer than I'd expected it to. :slide:

It may not be a purple pheno, but OMG, is it potent! Think I'll have a couple more before I head out, since the major hit from the brownie doesn't come for another hour.

Don't you love the options we've given ourselves? Let's envision a world where everyone has this freedom and we can be out in the open. Then hold that vision faithfully, without doubt, until it becomes reality in such a subtle way that people don't really take notice.

Sounds like a plan. Until later, my friends. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

Ya know.... I wouldn't trade my years in the trenches for all the tea in China.
Thank you, citizens of this fine country. You allowed me to find a way in a confusing world. Not an easy way.... not one damn bit, but it was a very fun way and it lead to memories the span the entire gamut of human feelings.
Plus, if you ever even began to suspect how many of your tax dollars I pissed away.... I mean, my gawd.... helicopter flights, crazy-fancy artillery and mortar rounds... literal lakes of 40mm M203/M79 rounds.... I'll not even touch more mundane logistical fodder.

Yup.... many fun times squeezed in betwixt the ones that were not.
Lucky in so many ways. Thank you for giving me that opportunity.

Semper Fi, happy belated Birthday and Happy Veterans Day to you and any other Marines or service members out there!!

Like they say....embrace the Suck!! You know, its kind of funny to think back and realize that some of the worst times of your life are also some of the best times of your life. Only someone that has walked that walk can understand that sentiment. Its interesting that as more and more years pass, I forget the bad times and only remember the good. Funny how that works.

That's your brain on drugs. :laughtwo: Seriously, it's the nature of cannabinoids to keep memory in perspective, and a healthy ECS holds to the positive memories and lets the stressful times fall away.

Without you guys we wouldn't be enjoying the tastes of freedom. :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

Good morning everyone

After 11..... I've been up and posting up a storm since 7. I have not yet taken time to feed the hungry stomach. :laughtwo: Happy Sunday everyone. :hugs: I have a walk with my friend scheduled this afternoon, and somewhere along the way I'll get Callanetics in.

I was thinking that with only a small number of plants I might appreciate getting them all onto the same watering schedule and give myself a day off now and then. I'm thinkin' today might be the day I make that switch. There's not a plant in my collection that would be compromised by being one day late on a drench.

Yep, taking a break today from watering chores. :blunt: I'll grab some water from the supermarket after our walk and hit them all tomorrow.

Back to breakfast. Be bold. Be joyful. Allow the universe to bring you more to be joyful about. :cheesygrinsmiley: Nice how that works out.

Later, my friends. :ciao:

Enjoy your day Sue!!! Try to keep warm, its a bit frosty outside (which I absolutely love)

Thanks Van. I like frosty too. I enjoy the seasonal differences. Makes Pgh a perfect place to live, in many ways. We get very little fierce weather extremes, but the full expression of all four seasons. Living so close to the river is a special pleasure.

I'm standing next to this cup of Thin Mint GSC brownie oil. OMG, does this smell amazing! I'm cooking up two batches for the daughter, one with Thin Mint and one with Candy Cane, hoping they both make it easy for her to sleep through the night. The Thin Mint has enough limonene in it to be more stimulating than we expected and it took her longer to fall asleep after vaping it. My hope is that taking it through the gut instead of vaping will soften that effect and lighten production pressures to keep Candy Cane in continuious rotation.

I'm also getting ready to make my first oil run with a pressure cooker. I always hesitate to commit the plant material. :laughtwo: It'll happen sometime today, just not sure of when. I haven't determined which oil I want to produce yet, although the obvious choice is CBD Critical Cure. We have just a wee bit left from the last batch.

I'm feeling lazy this overcast Sunday. :battingeyelashes: Maybe brownies will be the extent of my canna cookery today.

Nine out of ten times it's the Carnival I reach for. Best damned sativa I've come across. Highly underrated, IMHO.

Are Carnival seeds commercially available? How about CB Critical Cure?

Both seeds are available from seedsman...is where I got them from

Gonna germinate a Carnival today, hope to cross it with ACDC in a month or so....I think that would be a great fit

Oh man... haven't heard or lived those words in forever. I've embraced my share of the suck. Perhaps it's allowed me to laugh at some of the other bumps life can provide.
In chaos, there is opportunity... and I was one oportunistic M.F.
I can't tell you how the concept of only remembering the good times has helped me over the years. Even individual horrors have faded some and what remains is the memories of those gents that sucked that world with me. They fade in and out of my life... sometimes for good, but we somehow connect up with each other over the years... a very special lasting gift.

I got my last Carnival Seeds from World of Seeds, one of our sponsors. I was hoping they'd be one of the sponsored prizes for NOTM, but alas, I'll have to fork out money for more Carnival. I'm down to one precious seed, but I'm cloning this sativa-leaning pheno, so that's not a concern at the time. Makes me nervous to be down to one seed though, know what I mean? :laughtwo:

I believe they carry CBD Critical Cure too. This is an amazing chemovar, a screaming success in breeding between Barney's Farm and CBD Crew. It works medicinally for just about everything and offers a mighty pleasant euphoric effect as well. You'll be happy with it. It was possibly the best recommendation Cajun made for me, aside from the kick-ass recipe for BioBomb breakfast smoothies. :slide:

InstaPot?

Yes Blew, spurred on by your success. :battingeyelashes: Do you know the operating temps of this machine? I have three settings available, and I'm thinking the lowest one is the one I want.

I would certainly be interested in trying one of those seeds when you get them made. Or better yet, I'll be in your neighborhood about the time you'd be ready to smoke the end result, so we can get together and try it out together. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Excited with all the crosses I'll be doing soon

And the Carnival X ACDC would be a dandy indeed

It's a date Sue, let me know when yer headed this way and we can get together

You deserve all the gifts for what you do and what you did. I love that you are showered with technology to help out your organic processes. Whomever is getting that MB2 machine is gonna have their life changed for the super amazing things it can do.

Your plants are huuuuge. HAHAHAHA I mean let's call it like we see it. I was able to get through 2 pages of reading, then took a break, but I'm still seeing your plants pictures. You're blazing trails...of buds. ;) The Long Haul.
