SweetSue's Perpetual 2.0 - The Transition To Doc Bud's HBB Kit

That's an amazing looking lady!

If Sue doesn't mind, here's my little NL auto stinker

Grown only with love and sun :circle-of-love:

I'm smoking northern light trimmings now :) It's not the same as the buds allright, but I bet the THC is at least 7% in the trimmings and they got the same dry and cure as the buds, so it actually taste nice. Nice to have when you're waiting for the next harvest to finish up

I do however suspect that with the last modifications of my grow-setup and the addition of another 1000 watt powerhouse I should be able to grow much more than I will be able to smoke. I need to reach that point where I can store away strains for months, even years, for future pleasure :)

I still have harvested Northern Lights from 2 almost 3 months ago, sold some of it but don't tell my mother okay? Anyway, yeah I don't smoke at all, yesterday I tried some of my harvested Red Cherry Berry and it tastes amazing... It did hit me pretty damn hard and I had to lay down for a little bit .

Wow man. That would grow about what I smoke in a week. I have to friggin slow down. I think I smoke like 50 grams per weeks at least

Happy Saturday Sue. Have a great weekend :hugs:  :hugs:

:passitleft:

Happy Saturday Mr Am4zin. :hugs:  :hugs:

How delightful to find you here. The first door I walked through this morning was the Gallery contest, so we've already started this chain.

:passitleft:

Oh good, Pigeons just posted his wake 'n bake video. :yahoo: I'll be back. :ciao:

Good morning!

I'm watching his curing video right now.

Good morning everyone:Love:

How nice to walk into the room and find it filled with conversation. Let me squeeze in here and join the fun. :battingeyelashes:

Thank you so much :) I often get tears in my eyes here at 420 and I can assure you all it's happy tears. Tears from being touched by how helpful and friendly you all are. And how good you make people feel. I love you 420 folks. Hmmm. Sensitive this morning

I often greet new members with "Welcome to the family you didn't know you had." What I've witnessed happening on this site has fueled me to work harder for the team. The generosity and absence of judgemental egos is breathtaking. This community has learned to hug in virtual space. How cool is that? :laughtwo: How often is it that the hug was what you really needed? Well... they do that really good in this neighborhood. :battingeyelashes:

Wow!:cheertwo:
Happy looking girls you have in your garden Sue :circle-of-love:
:high-five:

I can relate to those concerns, I go through them as well. Got as bad as am afraid to keep leftover fan leaves/stems/ even roots around. Am sure it will get weigh down too. Be called a druglady by the media.. :laughtwo:

A great question though, what's a safe way to dispose of canna garden trash  ? :hmmmm:

Can say paranoia has indeed kept me safe, my family, and my garden as well. Nothing wrong with being extra cautious. What rule I follow is that I tell no one  it has kept me out of trouble for now.

Stay safe :Namaste:

PS: Nobody except :420: shhhh.. but you won't tell :laughtwo: :circle-of-love:

I'm bad about this myself, but I'm fearless too. At 63 I can't bring myself to keep from encouraging my neighbors who live in pain to grow their own in a simple act of civil disobedience that has the potential to dramatically improve the quality of their lives.

What we saw happen with my daughter with the addition of just four pills a day of an infused canna oil changed me. So many around me are suffering needlessly, and as long as we all stay quiet about the therapeutic value of both growing and ingesting cannabis they can't learn from our knowledge.

This isn't to suggest that I believe everyone should don the mantle of cannabis warrior, just a statement of the risks I'm willing to take on myself in the face of prohibition. I've always been looked upon in this physical neighborhood as "Dr Mom." Years running the local tattoo studio like it was my living room and 8 years behind the register at the local dollar store made me kinda prominent. This personality you see here is a reflection of my flesh and blood world. I love people and they love me back, and together we join forces to help ourselves and others live with less physical, emotional, and spiritual pain.

I'm a vivacious Saggitarian woman. Lol! People notice me, and for some reason what I say carries a certain weight. :laughtwo: I try to use that power for good. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I have so many seeds but I still want more... You guys got the same problem?

Yes I do, as a matter of fact,

IMG_73216.JPG

but I choose to see it as opportunity. :cheesygrinsmiley: I share and the universe sends me more. It's been a constant theme since my first contest win. I sometimes feel like a seed conduit for the cosmos. :laughtwo: I've given away vouchers for seeds to turn around and have twice that amount come through one pathway or another. To be honest, I'm a little in awe of how beautifully it works out for me. There's a universal law that says you get back what you give out. My life is certainly a testimony of the truth of that claim.

Excellent question. I know a friend of mine always burns it. Then you have the other kind (not sure which kind I am yet - we'll see about that) that just throw them into the compost and let them become soil for future grows.
What I have done so far is probably quite idiotic. But we own quite a big amount of land. So I just kinda throw it into the "forest" part of our property where it breaks down and become nutrients for whatever is going on in there - mostly mushrooms and stuff

Smart move. I thought you were going to say you buried them in a pit in the forest.   I was quite pleased to learn you chose a less labor-intensive approach. Lol!

All my leaves and stems go into the worm bin.

The roots go back into the soil to be reused.

Pots and labels are reused.

Flowers are smoked, vaped, and used for edibles and oil.

In theory, after I have used the soil for 4 plants (about 2 years), I will spread the old soil in my outdoor gardens.

I'm hoping to make arrangements to share my old soils with the local community garden, but that's a tricky thing to negotiate.

"So Susan, what were you growing in all this soil you're throwing out that still grows such lovely produce in our gardens? And why are you parting with so much of it? "

You see the dilemma?

As I don't own any worm pets yet :laughtwo: the burning part doesn't sound bad :high-five: can't wait to see what taste the bbq will have next time.
:circle-of-love:

I stopped trying after I killed my third community. It was sad. :(

I can't complain out here when it's cannabis related. You are not really allowed to have plants but if you have under the 5 plants then you won't get any punishment. But the gouvernement really doesn't look at people who have less than 5 plants. In january 2017 it actually became possible to be a legal cannabis supplier for coffeeshops or dispensaries. I might even go for that!

You'll be so tickled when you make your first sale. It'll push you to grow more. You'll be able to supply strains they might not otherwise come across. What will they do about testing for undesirable chemicals? It should be fairly easy to have basic and affordable testing for producers.

That's great news. Maybe the prices will drop a bit too (not that they are too high, but am not very rich :laughtwo:). Northern Lights is the only thing we afford when we come there on vacation :cheertwo:. And funny thing, I have a Northern Lights auto growing and her smell can only be described as The Netherlands  Can't wait for her to finish! She stinks
:high-five:

Ahhh.... Northern Lights, the first cannabis I grew, rescued from my BIL.

It was great fun catching up. Time to check on my girls. Be joyful my friends and share it every chance you get.

Good morning!

I'm watching his curing video right now.

Good morning Lady A. :hugs: I need to catch up with the week's videos. I was watching him today and thinking I'm not surprised he's picking up a steady increase in subscribers. He has a confidence that draws others to him and coupled with a childlike exuberance he's a safe and comfortable friend. He's maintained a consistent authenticity that I admire, and obviously, so do others.

We've become like family, he and I. I have their wedding picture on my fridge, by God. :laughtwo:

A recipe file box! Bloody brilliant!

Works beautifully. I tape the seed packages to the cards for easy access.

Makes it easy to keep notes too.

Looks like you have it in another plastic box. Do you add a desiccant pack and keep the whole thing in the fridge?

To be honest Lady A, it never occurred to me until you mentioned it. I have a couple I can toss in. That box almost never leaves the fridge. I clone everything I can now. :laughtwo:

But it helps to know that you do keep it in the fridge. Thanks!

I setup my cloner today and got started with some tomatoes and basil. Figured I would practice a little on other plants, since I think my girls are too young. Seems like most of the plants I see here are much bigger when cuttings are taken.

Yours do look like they need more time. I take my cuttings either right before flowering or at day 14-15 of flowering. This is the first time I tried taking them when they were that deep into flowering, but it looks like they'll be the perfect size by the time I harvest their mothers, so this may become my default method. I'm still watching closely, because you have to force them back into veg and I'm not certain yet how that'll go with my scheduling, but Dave Groomer made it look too easy to not try.

Graytail taught me to take them as the first topping, when the plant reached between 12-14" and started to bolt upwards. That works really well to train the plant because they recover from the topping faster at that point and the side branches rush up to level the canopy within a week or two.

I used to be so intimidated by the thought of cloning until TOAST taught me that bag method. :cheesygrinsmiley:
