SweetSue's Perpetual 2.0 - The Transition To Doc Bud's HBB Kit

:420: wants to be seperate from the whole tune in/ drop out image. They prefer the psychadelic healing therapy discussions to be at a place like reset<dot>me. If you find a good place, let me know :)

It's not always easy to get answers to questions like: If you have a intolerance to eating nightshades, should you handle mandrake root?

Haha i can understand that lol. I was meaning things like kratom to help with pain and help the opiate addicts get off the hard stuff or using mulungu bark as a relaxant/sleeping aid or even hibiscus flowers made in to a tea for anti-anxiety/sleeping aid etc etc. Im not at all opposed to to psychadelics either but for once that wasnt what i was talking about lol. If i find a place for that ill let you know and vice versa :;):

There's another thing keeping me from going all the way when it comes to certain aspects of my growing. I may be paranoid, but I dread to get post from abroad containing products for cannabis production. I would end up years in prison if they caught me - Even if I just grow some med for myself. They would never believe I actually use it all myself. It's true though - I do. They would call this a drug-factory and put me away for quite a while.

So I don't even order seeds from abroad anymore. I bought a load of genetics long time ago and I waited almost a year before I dared plant a seed. There is luckily two shops in this country importing and selling seeds. So I do buy from there. But they don't really have the latest and most trendy in Cannabis. Sadly :)

I would like to get into living soil, but by making it myself maybe? With the stuff I can find locally. So I don't leave any traces for them to follow. But I'm not quite sure where to get started.

Maybe by loosening up the paranoia slightly? I don't know. I don't want to go to jail

I can certainly understand the sentiment DeVille. Doc will ship everywhere, but shipping costs would bury you, in all likelihood. I'd suggest you engage the boys over at the organic soil thread and see what they suggest. High brix soils take a certain panache. bobrown14 works that thread, among others, and he's like an organic soil god to me. I'm sure they can help you work out a good recipe using locally-sourced materials.

Building a Better Soil - Demonstrations and Discussions of Organic Soil Recipes

Good evening everyone

I was just finished taking update pictures when the daughter asked if I'd be interested in catching Wonder Woman on the opening day, so we ran away like little girls and had a splendid day. It is such a delight to live within steps of each other. If it weren't for her I'd probably never go to the movies, and she's been hauling me off to explore the super hero movies from the start. What fun this movie was. :woohoo:

I certainly hope your day was as joyful as mine. I wake up every morning and deliberately state my intention to engage the universe in childlike play, and this is the type of joyful living it brings to me. :cheesygrinsmiley:

On to the update.

Weekly Update: Veg Shelf and Tiny Closet - Friday, June 2, 2017

All kit girls got a Brix foliar before lights on. Hempies don't get the kit foliars. I keep forgetting the foliars. This one is three days late, but last week I had three harvests processed into oil, so I kinda lost those days.

CBD Critical Cure 2.1.1 (Day 57) I was watching Pigeon's 420 over at YouTube this morning and. One of his subscribers mentioned tossing chicken wire onto the plant to get it leveled out. As I read that I spotted the only piece of wire that I have left from my failed attempts at worm farming. This specimen has been a challenge to get a level canopy.

IMG_72617.JPG

I've been training her to curl around the perimeter of the pot, and today I added additional restraints in an attempt to fill more real estate.

IMG_72629.JPG

This center section is driving me to distraction. I've bent them, tucked them, and supercropped, all to no avail. It keeps losing the level canopy I'm striving for.

IMG_72636.JPG

IMG_72646.JPG

Enter the chicken wire.

IMG_72656.JPG

IMG_72669.JPG

I'll leave it like this until Monday morning. I'm really just curious about how effective this can really be, and he caught me in a playful mood. I figure three days can't do much damage, if any, and if there is some there's plenty time to bounce back.

CBD Critical Cure 2.2.1 (Day 27) She's got a lot of new growth starting to explode from every juncture. :slide:

IMG_72679.JPG

Good color, good structure. This is getting to be really familiar to me.

Ultra Dawg (Day 28)
IMG_72699.JPG

I'm waiting for all this growth to leave the shelter of the stalk and begin exploring the surrounding space.

IMG_727010.JPG

She sure is a pretty one.

IMG_727210.JPG

Carnival 3.1 (Day 27) Here she goes pushing out funky leaves, right about the time her mother did before her.

IMG_72735.JPG

IMG_727510.JPG

IMG_72768.JPG

I think I retire this one at harvest, unless it smokes really well, and start a new seed.

A parting shot. Next week there should be two quantum light boards hanging over these beauties. :yahoo:

The Tiny Closet

Devil's Carnival (Day 2) Not much to report. She didn't get Brixed today. :laughtwo:

IMG_72784.JPG

IMG_72807.JPG

No sign of roots yet on the Carnival clone. She's back in her sweet spot. I'll check in three more days.

Next up, the tents.

Be back in a few. I keep forgetting to stop for food. :laughtwo:

Weekly Update: The Tents - Friday, June 2, 2017

Tent #1: Carnivals

How lucky do I feel to have two Carnivals in bloom at once? :slide: It's a good thing, because the BIL is smoking right through the stores. :laughtwo: Having access to decent cannabis has changed his life. Having someone willing to shhRe cost of production changed mine. It's a good exchange. :cheesygrinsmiley:

IMG_72859.JPG

Carnival 4 (Day 66, Flip + 7) She gets watered every two days with the rest of the hempy crew. I'm getting seriously spoiled by the simplicity of the Osmo plus growing. That nite burn edging doesn't concern me at all. Most of her leaves are pristine.

IMG_728713.JPG

IMG_728810.JPG

Just getting started with bud setting.

IMG_72899.JPG

Carnival 3 (Day 91, Flip + 41) All she's doing now is growing thicker and frostier. She got her second CAT drench today.

IMG_72955.JPG

One of these days I'll learn to trim off the lowest branches that only grow popcorn buds like this. I need to stop letting all this energy get wasted when it could be going to the top.

IMG_72966.JPG

Yeah.... Those two branches are a waste. I might clip them off in the morning.

IMG_72977.JPG

IMG_72988.JPG

Carnival 3 is obviously closer to the light than 12", but she's showing no signs of stress from that close proximity.

IMG_72995.JPG

IMG_73006.JPG

Carnival 4 is right at the limit.

IMG_73048.JPG

Candy Cane (Day 20) She got a drink of water today. You'd never know I topped her. She's a happy little indica who shows no signs of being an auto, so I may have another photo, which is what I'm hoping. The daughter really loves the brownies made with this strain. Those brownies have been her ticket to normal life outside the safety of her apartment. She had a good bite before we went to the movies today and this was the first time she could remember all of the movie experience. I wasn't aware that she lost so much to anxiety.

Thank God she's my daughter and I learned what I did here. Her cannabinoid therapy has begun to effect cognitive changes that tamp down the anxiety in surprising ways. Yesterday she discovered that when panic threatened she was able to stop the panicky chatter in her brain and introduce some reality thoughts to stop it in its tracks. That has never happened for her before. :yahoo: It's working! It's working! :yahoo:

CBD Critical Cure 2.2 (Day 81, Flip + 41) Smelling absolutely divine. :battingeyelashes: I've grown so fond of the smell of this strain. It's becoming my strain of choice, with DDA and Carnival used as evening embellishments. :laughtwo: That's good, since the BIL needs the Carnival on hand.

She had her second CAT drench today as well, and of course joined the rest of the kit girls with the early morning Brix foliar.

IMG_73084.JPG

For all her short stature she's quite the beauty herself.

I missed having glass beads hanging in here, so before I zipped up I made a change.

IMG_73184.JPG

There, that makes me happier. :laughtwo:

And that's the nickle tour guys. Thank you for the stop and for sharing the joy. Having you here to appreciate all the hard work makes this even more fun to do. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

Ok, it's Friday night. Let's see some good times brewing in the many yards. :cheesygrinsmiley: Share that joy openly and easily. Get to know your canna neighbors a little better. I have a few conversations I'm falling behind on that I'm going to chase down now. You have a great time on your own journey. :hugs:

Thank you so much :) I often get tears in my eyes here at 420 and I can assure you all it's happy tears. Tears from being touched by how helpful and friendly you all are. And how good you make people feel. I love you 420 folks. Hmmm. Sensitive this morning

Wow!:cheertwo:
Happy looking girls you have in your garden Sue :circle-of-love:

I can relate to those concerns, I go through them as well. Got as bad as am afraid to keep leftover fan leaves/stems/ even roots around. Am sure it will get weigh down too. Be called a druglady by the media.. :laughtwo:

A great question though, what's a safe way to dispose of canna garden trash  ? :hmmmm:

Can say paranoia has indeed kept me safe, my family, and my garden as well. Nothing wrong with being extra cautious. What rule I follow is that I tell no one  it has kept me out of trouble for now.

Stay safe :Namaste:

PS: Nobody except :420: shhhh.. but you won't tell :laughtwo: :circle-of-love:

Excellent question. I know a friend of mine always burns it. Then you have the other kind (not sure which kind I am yet - we'll see about that) that just throw them into the compost and let them become soil for future grows.
What I have done so far is probably quite idiotic. But we own quite a big amount of land. So I just kinda throw it into the "forest" part of our property where it breaks down and become nutrients for whatever is going on in there - mostly mushrooms and stuff

All my leaves and stems go into the worm bin.

The roots go back into the soil to be reused.

Pots and labels are reused.

Flowers are smoked, vaped, and used for edibles and oil.

In theory, after I have used the soil for 4 plants (about 2 years), I will spread the old soil in my outdoor gardens.

Sadly not a problem of mine :) I see you live in Netherlands. I would have the same problem if I were you. I can tell you that much :)

I have so many seeds but I still want more... You guys got the same problem?

I can't complain out here when it's cannabis related. You are not really allowed to have plants but if you have under the 5 plants then you won't get any punishment. But the gouvernement really doesn't look at people who have less than 5 plants. In january 2017 it actually became possible to be a legal cannabis supplier for coffeeshops or dispensaries. I might even go for that!

That's great news. Maybe the prices will drop a bit too (not that they are too high, but am not very rich :laughtwo:). Northern Lights is the only thing we afford when we come there on vacation :cheertwo:. And funny thing, I have a Northern Lights auto growing and her smell can only be described as The Netherlands  Can't wait for her to finish! She stinks
:high-five:

That would be a nice job indeed. If it ever becomes legal here near the north pole (Is there any laws at the north pole by the way?) I'll most certainly be ready to become this country's legal drug-industry. I bet there's a bunch of others just waiting for that to happen, and even more dying while waiting for that. But sure - if it ever happens, I'll be ready to supply :D But then I have to stop smoking it all myself. I mean - I barely have time to cure it before I smoke it all

Actually Northern Lights is my favorite strain to grow so far. They are nice and easy and they can handle the very different tempratures here. But yeah! The prices will eventually drop when the offer of cannabis strains are growing, but that takes a long time so you will only see the prices drop in about 2 years because not a lot people wants to be a legal supplier of cannabis, funny thing is that the coffeeshops did get their cannabis from the black market in the passed or they grew it themselves. Shall I start a coffeeshop and name it Cats 'N Lizzards!

I still have harvested Northern Lights from 2 almost 3 months ago, sold some of it but don't tell my mother okay? Anyway, yeah I don't smoke at all, yesterday I tried some of my harvested Red Cherry Berry and it tastes amazing... It did hit me pretty damn hard and I had to lay down for a little bit .

I would come visit your shop !:cheertwo:
Yea Northern Lights is in my top favorites to grow as well. What I love mostly about it is the christmas tree shape, I just love to watch them grow. We had a crazy cold spring and this baby had no issues whatsoever. And now there's a heat wave, and still looking great. The smell though, it's crazy. Swear she farts sometimes
