SweetSue's Perpetual 2.0 - The Transition To Doc Bud's HBB Kit

I've become a big advocate of a capsule regemine. For bipolar the best approach seems to be 3-4 capsules a day of an infused olive oil with a strain at least 1:1, if not 2:1. In this way you establish a continuious supply of cannabinoids to the system. My basic recipe is 100 grams of dried bud or 400 grams of fresh to every 500 ml of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of liquid sunflower lecithin.

All disease, including mental illness, is caused by inflammation. CBD is the chief component to reduce inflammation, although there appears to be great cause to embrace THCa as well for inflammatory response. I learned yesterday that the most effective topicals out there right now are prepared with 60% THC, 40% THCa and a small amount of CBD added. That THCa is to reduce inflammation.

It stands to reason that THCa would do the same thing when taken internally. When you decarb, take this into consideration. It doesn't take 25% THC to get a decent buzz. One could benefit from scaling the decarb back a bit and come away with a more complex mix of cannabinoids. I'm getting ready to try making an oil high in THCa for the daughter.

One of the interesting things I learned this weekend is that CBD depresses the reward response of narcotics, which is why it's easier to kick the opioids when you incorporate cannabis into the withdrawal process. With the epidemic of opioid addiction facing the nation, this is something we should be pushing for from the top down. One has to wonder who's really benefitting from the practice of suppressing cannabis as a drug rehabilitation tool.
Things that make you go hmmmmm .

Yes the opiode epidemic is nuts especially with all the fentinol going around. Im so thankful that I was able to break free of those chains and consider myself lucky to still be around. I have actually overdosed 4 times in my bout with madness. One of those times I was told my heart stopped for a total of 8 minutes. I was given the chance to better my quality of life and dove rite in. My only regret is that I didnt start earlier

The ECS is a powerful healing force Cannoisseuras. That's a compelling history and makes me appreciate the ability to be engaging you in conversation today. :hugs: IMO, every day you support the ECS is one more day closer to homeostasis. It's a force that's unstoppable, with the right mindset.

I've started a new thread dedicated to those capsules I keep pushing. These aren't the infused ones, but the more serious medication we call our BioBombs.

BioBombs: Cannabis Oil With A Kick

I'm rediscovering things I learned about THCa when I first started research cannabis and cancer treatment. I wouldn't have tried this when I was actively fighting cancer, but now I'm incorporating partially decarbed oil into my maintenance/recovery regimen. It's similar to using a 1:1, except I don't think THCa actually moderates the THC high, there's just less THC in the oil. That's actually an advantage over CBD at bedtime. Another advantage is that it doesn't cause my neuropathy in my hands to flare up like CBD sometimes does.

the thing I love about Cannabinoids is that they always help amd always work. Like for example if you use pain killers all the time then you eventually will need more painkillers to ease the same pain apart from the damage painkillers or even other medicines do to you stomach and intestins around it. You just got to love cannabinoids! Not addicting, no side effects, can replace a whole box of pills, well, what else can you guys add?

(I never really talked like this now did I? . well atleast it doesn't have anything to do with with me just consuming 15 drops of 2.1% CBD oil... Or does it?)

Hi Dory.

Spambot posts often look like gobbly-gook with a lot of Asian letters or when I was hanging out in the music forum the other night, I noticed that the same person posted the same post multiple times so I alerted the mods to it so that they could take care of it.

If you see it, you can click on the Report a Post feature at the bottom of the post on the left. It's the icon that is triangular.

Hi SweetSue!
Ok... I'll bite. I know what a Spambot does.... but what do they look like in a thread?

Hmmm...

The CBD firing up your brain cells, eh? :laughtwo: Cannabinoid medicine communicates with your body in ways no other medicine can. There simply are no components that can replace them.

Did you find a decent source of the genetics?
Gotta friend that wants ta grow one.
One really wonders about the genetics of purchased seeds. Different seeds from different genetic sources... blah blah blah. It all leads to genetic drift over the years at the very least.
One thing I do is try to find journals growing the genetics that pique my interest and use that data as a major portion of the seed purchase decision process.

This one slipped by me, and the answer is "no". I'm of the opinion that we have no real idea what we're getting. I was shocked to hear how much Jack Herer wasn't. What the lab geek said was the terpene profiles were all over the place, except where they be if they were Jack Herer. He was speaking of product sold in dispensaries or entered into cannabis cups. I'm not certain about purchasing seeds. So many companies offer the same name, but obviously the genetics are different. How many different White Widows do we have out there, all sold under the same name?

If you spend some time exploring the Phylos Galaxy, you'll discover the aberrations. They test the samples that people send, whatever they call them, and sometimes it just obviously is not that strain. But most of the time if there are several samples of a given strain, they'll be grouped together, closely related. It's not terrible.

But ... SO much is in the pheno and the terps it produces. When you cross Brazilian and Indian you don't necessarily get WW, even if it's closely related.

I'm not even sure how you can produce seed that's fairly consistent within the batch, much less how you could reproduce it in another batch. Clones, yes. Seed? Not so much. It's always in that magic matchup between parents - hard to reproduce.

I'd have to agree with you. I've come to the conclusion that cannabis is such a promiscuous breeder that the only way to maintain the integrity of a strain you find works for you is to clone it. So much depends on individual experience of the plant. Two identical plants, clones even, grown side by side but one catching more light than the other, and you have two different plant expressions, two different oil formulations.

An absolutely fascinating medicinal plant. The more I learn the more there is to learn. They make us life-long students in our quest to understand them.

Good morning everyone

I love this time of the year, when I naturally wake up at 7 with the sun streaming through the window next to the bed. It's still strange to me to be living without him by my side. Almost two years and I'm still finding my own rhythm. Wow! That was an emotional hit out of left field. :laughtwo:

Deep breath....... Start again........

Good morning everyone

OK, that felt better. :laughtwo:

Mixing up the weekly Brix foliar before the lights come on............. There, that's done and they have a full 15 minutes to dry before the lights come on. I'm getting better at the foliars. For the longest time I was using too little Brix, and I have no idea why that was, because I have the instructions tacked to the inside of my cupboard door.

Hmmm...... I need to review Doc's instructions on the flowering stage. I'm still waiting for these two to dry out enough to start the flowering schedule of drenches. It's been 19 days since flip and neither seems thirsty yet. Doc instructs to let them wilt like you would in veg the first time and then shift into flowering drenching. I keep growing these drought-resistant strains. :laughtwo:

Alright, time to take my pre-breakfast walk. I'll catch up with you all later. Get out there now, and spread that joy wherever the cosmos leads you. Let's brighten up the universe with laughter today.

Come to think of it, we do that all day, every day around here, don't we? Makes me proud to be counted among you. :hugs:

:circle-of-love:

Good Morning!

I'm ready to play!

Good morning KR. :hugs:  I'm in full play mode myself. :laughtwo: I keep getting distracted and haven't gotten out the door yet. Lol! You guys are addictive. Having a zillion threads running keeps me busy.

My Low and Slow drying of the CBD Critical Cure is complete enough to allow me to test a small bud. The first thing you notice with this method is how they look just like they did when I harvested. No change of color at all, and after they come back to room temperature the smell is very akin to harvest day as well. I'm much impressed. When it's completely up to room temp I'll seal the jar up.

IMG_64819.JPG

I'm testing out this bud and the whole time I'm hitting it I'm thinking "this is a 2:1 CBD?" It hits real smooth, burns down to a clean white ash and I had to stop after three hits. My capsules are made with the fresh-harvest oil from these plants, which I've determined may be very similar in potency to CCO, and I took my first dose at 9. I've learned that these capsules are potent enough to get me through an entire day on three, with occasional recreational indulgences. Yesterday I only had one brownie dose, and that was because I wanted that particular euphoric experience for the evening. There's nothing like having 75 mg of Carnival-derived and super potentiated THC running through your veins. :laughtwo: Otherwise I'd have stuck to the caps.

Having that buzz already going makes this a bit of overkill, but I wanted to see if the hash tips bubbled. Although I could hear them sputter my eyesight is such that I can't get a clear view of the bowl of the water pipe, so I can't tell you if they do. :laughtwo: What I can tell you is this is a mighty sweet buzz she offers.

Think I'm ready to begin Callanetics now. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I've noticed the brown hairs in the DDA are extra brown. I'm not sure if it's an artifact of their setting in the dark purple or if the hairs are actually differently colored than other plant's brown hairs. Either way... mighty nice.

I've decided to take a lead from you and your note covered cupboard door.
I didn't have the need for the paper, and my cupboard door is a shed door.... but I like it. Pardon the rust.

Yup.... great idea. Thanks!

Thank you for lighting the way. G2HM

You're welcome. Thank you for lighting up my life. Grow potent meds girl. :hugs:

Ya know... it's a problematic written medium we exchange our nuanced ideas in... often I don't know when my real message is properly received.
You do realize I was really just pointing at the differences in our routines..... yes? I would have expected a response along the lines of "Tead, you ass!", so I just want to make sure you fully recognize every single occasion I'm being an ass.
It's fun to be an ass. Plus, you get to write the word 'ass' alot!

Yes Tead, I did realize that. Got quite the chuckle from your post too. :laughtwo: At this point in time you happen to be my favorite ass. :cheesygrinsmiley:
