SweetSue's Perpetual 2.0 - The Transition To Doc Bud's HBB Kit

Look at the size of that leaf on the left, wild and wide.

Good on ya growing the ultra dog as well, should be fun.

As a former MMA fighter and athlete Ive been a huge fan of Bas for a long time. We actually have quite a bit in common. He's one of my heroes. Can't wait for El Guapo!

With all the concussive potential in athletics you'll be smart to increase CBD intake, which I know you're doing. They've discovered that when the brain is injured CB2 receptors rise up in the brain where they weren't before as the ECS rushes in to quell inflammation and settle the neurotransmissions. I'm looking forward to this panel as well. It wasn't all that long ago the powers that be in athletic arenas were proclaiming there was "no real harm going on here."

It makes me kinda proud that a doctor in our city broke this wide open so it couldn't be ignored any more.

I was very very lucky to be pretty good at avoiding head blows. Ive only been knoocked out once and tko'd twice. Honestly now that Im old and know better I do feel really bad for some of the people I fought over the years. I really hope I didnt do anything permanent to anyone :(

Don't let yourself go there J. :hugs:  They were willing participants, and you all took the same risks. If any damage occurred we know a remedy for that. :cheesygrinsmiley:.

Boston Univerity were the ones who forced the NFL into a corner with their brain autopsies.

As a retired semi-pro womens soccer captain, I have had 4 bad concussions from being kicked in the head and colliding into goal posts for the win. I had no fear back then when I played sports. I've also had 2 bad concussions from when I was a child and severely abused. All this impact is why the doctors think I have this brain injury younger than usual. It's like having a permanent concussion with terrible memory lapses. But I'm turning this around thanks to your help SweetSue and my grow/rehab journal. Thank goodness I found it in time. phew! Just posted my seed inventory so I can continue my research for specific terpenes. Now I'm using my head for research and not for scoring goals. ;)

Another beautiful day in the garden of SweetSue...:Namaste: I'm working on my list of strains so I can research those terpenes.

So to help my brain decipher between good and bad, I scroll through the threads as a I read, they represent good, then I see a spambot, report it, and that represents bad.

Hi SweetSue!
Ok... I'll bite. I know what a Spambot does.... but what do they look like in a thread?

Hmmm...

Super human is...what super human does. Plants look amazing!

I'll go with "Force of Nature" because by God, that I am. I've been known to move heaven and earth to manifest my dreams, a talent we all have but most are intimidated by. But "superhuman" made me fall over on the bed with laughter. :laughtwo:

I'm a mom. Aren't we all superhuman? Not only that, but I've deliberately chosen to be a mom figure for this extended community. I guess that makes me kinda super, but I'm just me in the end, bolstered by the love that surrounds me here and drives me to greater heights.

Gosh, there you go, reminding me again of why I love this community so much. :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

Yeah.... Where was my brain when I wrote that? :laughtwo: Thank you Rad, for keeping me honest. :kisstwo:

Watching the panel yesterday it made you embarrassed that the commissioner could step out in the style of our delusional Attorney General and state that there is no medicinal value to cannabis. They look like grand fools on the world stage. Israel proved that when the brain is injured the cells will generate CB2 receptors in areas where they aren't commonly found in an attempt to stop the inflammatory response and re-establish balance in the grey matter. CBD is the first line response to head trauma in the Israeli military.

Unfortunately it'll take a massive slap in the wallet brought on by the lawsuit I'm certain some hot-shot lawyer is pulling together to force the powers that be to shift their losing perspective. Watching the panel on topicals yesterday made me want to scream at the insanity of pumping our athletes full of steroids when canna topicals and meds are much more responsive.

And that's the big difference. Response. Cannabinoid therapies communicate directly with your healing force without side effects and danger of harming the patient with horrid side effects. Topicals alone should be in every burn unit, every chemo facility, ever emergency room in this great country of ours. When we catch up with the rest of the world were going to pass them up with innovation. You see it going on around us in the legal states, and come January, when California goes straight legal, all bets are off for the rest of the country. We're not gonna sit quietly by while politicians decide your access limitations based on your zip code and watch Californians and citizens of Colorado reap the benefits of cannabis freedom. It's frustrating, but watching the summit gave a startling glimpse of what lies ahead.

That was the most entertaining of the panels. :laughtwo: He certainly is a colorful man. Delightful personality. The panel discussion was compelling and disturbing. That they should have to fight so hard for their brothers..... there should be something we can do to hasten the paradigm shift in the minds of the NFL, much the same way we'd be well-advised to get our politicans to accept that our veterans deserve unfettered access to the cannabis of their choice.

Hey guys, an interesting thing I learned yesterday. Most of the Jack Herer out there in California tests out as something other than Jack Herer. The gene pool is corrupted beyond belief. Lab testing and trial and error appear to be all you have to find your favorite strains. Cloning is the only way to hold onto them. Thank goodness you guys taught me how to do that. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Good morning sweets..

I have a question for you. I suffer from bipolar disorder, depression plus I was addicted to opiates for many years. Although I have been clean from the opiates for years im sure that my body is not in homeostasis. Can you recommend a routine that could correct the bodys ecs or atleast jump start the process

Did you find a decent source of the genetics?
Gotta friend that wants ta grow one.
One really wonders about the genetics of purchased seeds. Different seeds from different genetic sources... blah blah blah. It all leads to genetic drift over the years at the very least.
One thing I do is try to find journals growing the genetics that pique my interest and use that data as a major portion of the seed purchase decision process.

Good morning everyone:Love:

Before I head out for my pre-breakfast walk I take care of any garden needs. That meant a drench for the CBD CC 2.1, who was looking particularly luscious today. She's 36 days into her bloom cycle now, with another month ahead of her.

Then I went to turn the DDAs under the light and OMG!!!! What beauty! It's so fascinating to not only have both phenos running, but to have them running about two weeks apart in development. We have a rare opportunity here to observe this strain in action. I don't know about you, but I'm enjoying the hell out of this grow. :laughtwo:

DDA6 is starting to foxtail. :slide:

Still pushing out the white pistils. :yahoo: She's getting close though. The fans are beginning to change.

Alright, out the door with me. The stomach is beginning to growl.

Get out out into this glorious day and make your presence known. Share the joy people. Isn't this the best fun? :laughtwo:

Ya know.... one can't follow all of SS's words, and I can be here every moment to catch every word... and I've been really tied up lately... but you folks appear to be busy taking side shots at my Saints. Not directly of course, but if you keep bantering about using such words of logic and sanity, you're sure gonna screw up my Sundays dammit!

Geaux Saints!

I've become a big advocate of a capsule regemine. For bipolar the best approach seems to be 3-4 capsules a day of an infused olive oil with a strain at least 1:1, if not 2:1. In this way you establish a continuious supply of cannabinoids to the system. My basic recipe is 100 grams of dried bud or 400 grams of fresh to every 500 ml of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of liquid sunflower lecithin.

All disease, including mental illness, is caused by inflammation. CBD is the chief component to reduce inflammation, although there appears to be great cause to embrace THCa as well for inflammatory response. I learned yesterday that the most effective topicals out there right now are prepared with 60% THC, 40% THCa and a small amount of CBD added. That THCa is to reduce inflammation.

It stands to reason that THCa would do the same thing when taken internally. When you decarb, take this into consideration. It doesn't take 25% THC to get a decent buzz. One could benefit from scaling the decarb back a bit and come away with a more complex mix of cannabinoids. I'm getting ready to try making an oil high in THCa for the daughter.

One of the interesting things I learned this weekend is that CBD depresses the reward response of narcotics, which is why it's easier to kick the opioids when you incorporate cannabis into the withdrawal process. With the epidemic of opioid addiction facing the nation, this is something we should be pushing for from the top down. One has to wonder who's really benefitting from the practice of suppressing cannabis as a drug rehabilitation tool.
