SweetSue's Perpetual 2.0 - The Transition To Doc Bud's HBB Kit

Well the reason I said the Durban poison is because it helped me with my anxiety so I was throwing it out there. I've noticed that men and women handle strains differently so that could be a possibility.

I asked him what flavors or smells he likes and said he is more of a citrus guy and not a fan of sweet. Lavender and fresh brewed coffee are his all time favorite smells. Now to find a strain in our lineup or that we have that could fulfill everything. He said if it wasn't for me helping him then he would be on "crazy meds". Makes me feel good about that, that's for sure.

Hi Nis (and Sue).
First thing I thought of when I read your first post above was limonene (for depression) and linalool (for anxiety), aka citrus and lavender. :) There must be something to what Sue said about the body guiding us to what we need.

Very cool that you can help a friend stay off drugs!

As I work through the protocol with him I'll keep you in mind ginganinja. This is advanced healing 101 in my book. To my knowledge a successful administration of cannabis to manage diabetes hasn't been developed yet. If so, they're keeping it to themselves. In the end it's all basic biology.

Your medical team will overwhelm you with information on nutritional and lifestyle changes geared to maintaining good glucose control. Take all of their advice to heart. I advise you right now to read my thread on supporting the ECS without cannabis. The three easiest things you can do to support the ECS is to start taking at least 1000 units of omega-3 supplements to give the body the building blocks for endocannabinoid creation, a probiotic with at least 50 billion cultures to reestablish a gut flora capable of eliminating inflammation from the digestive atmosphere and thereby reducing the opportunity for disease to progress, and a magnesium supplement.

Consistently supplying these basic components to your daily protocol will do more than anything else to advance homeostasis other than keeping a positive image in your mind of yourself healthy and whole as a roadmap for the ECS to follow. Remember that over 90% of doctors in the US don't even know we have an ECS, so hoping they know how to augment its restoration is like spitting in the wind. It'll be your job to teach them.

You should be using cannabis in some form every day. I warn you, eventually I'm going to advise you try cannabis oil suppositories to increase the cannabinoid values of your administered doses beyond what euphoric levels your body would normally be able to tolerate. By the time diabetes is diagnosed extensive systemic damage has occurred and rebuilding will take time. Healing at the cellular level will always require more time.

Complications of diabetes took my beloved's life. Had I know 20 years ago what I know now about the ECS and its healing potential he might well be sleeping beside me this morning a vibrant and healthy man. We'll never know, and I believe all things happen in their right time, but still, one has to wonder how many of us have to die early of painful maladies when this plant has the potential to help us heal from these diseases. When I consider the money we might not be putting into the health care structure for testing and medications that complicate more than they heal.......... I suddenly realize why we're still fighting for the basic human right to grow and administer herbal cures.

Hi Sue

Thank you so much again for keeping me in mind along with your BIL. I'm all good with being a guinea pig for some healing experimentation ..

I have always had a holistic approach to wellbeing in my life and have been a huge advocate for it.
When I'm at home I usually have a omega 3 supplement and I use homemade magnesium oil as a natural deodorant so I will pick up some probiotics to complete the 3 ..

I usually use a vape and a pipe every day at home but I've not been able to have any cannabis for 4 weeks now as I'm in hospital and the doctors here are still way behind the times with our lovely green medicine ., hopefully not for too much longer.

The UK are still being majorly hypocritical as they have a government backed pharmaceutical company developing and using cannabis based medicine, (not whole plant), yet still have cannabis legally classed as having no medical benefit and a class B drug along with amphetamines, barbiturates and ketamine.

Once I get my grow going I'm looking to eventually be able to produce enough for myself for capsules and edibles or suppositories. I'm not shy about administration methods so no worries there ..

I feel for your loss Sue and it breaks my heart at how many of our loved ones could have helped if only a small fraction of the resources of big pharma were put into cannabinoids research.

It feels like it's a life mission for me now to be a part of the learning process into this amazing plant.
With dedicated people like yourself Sue and everyone else here on 420, we will continue the fight and I know we will change the system for the benefit of all.

...

Thank you for that hearty laugh KR. Can you see Jeff Sessions boiling in frustration off to the side of the stage? The man amazes me in his ability to stare reality in the face and still continue offering his "alternative facts."

Off to ship the last of the light panels I have to pass on. I can't tell you all how delicious it feels to be able to share all this bounty with other members. The universe is a wonderfully generous playground, is it not? :cheesygrinsmiley: I'll be back later with the weekly update.

Get out there people and share that joy. I'll be doing my best over here. Together we light up the universe just a little more. That idea gives me warm and tinglies. :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

I'm fairly certain both linalool and limonene show up in Carnival. We know limonene's present, but last week I ate a top off my new baby and she definately had linalool.

Weekly Update: Flowering Tent # 1 - Friday, May 5, 2017

Today was Day 14 under 12/12. The Brix foliar was on Tuesday.

CBD Critical Cure 2.2 (Day 54, Flip + 14) She hasn't had anything to drink since April 21st, when she was transplanted. I'm waiting for that first and only wilt going into flowering. Both plants in this tent look like they have a few more days to go before the next drink.

She promises to be a beauty when she's in full bloom.

Carnival 3 (Day 63, Flip + 14) Looking might unruly down inside. :laughtwo: Her leaves have this roughness to them that adds to that rebel feel she's sporting.

IMG_633914.JPG

She's gonna forgive me for that topping and reward me with some serious colas. Whew!

So far so good with this pair. My mistake in throwing them into flower has become a good thing with the increased demands of the grow. My BIL is blissfully happy these days. I've started him on brownies. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Because it was day 14 from flip I took the clone cuttings from both.

They can take all the time they need. I've had one take nearly a month, and she's doing fine right now. I have no time constraints, and my only interest here is to save these genetics. This was my first Carnival showing this strong a sativa proclivity. I'm expecting good things from her. You bet I'll dry her low and slow. :laughtwo:

On to the next tent.

Weekly Update: Tent #2 - Friday, May 5, 2017

CBD Critical Cure 2.1 (Day 76, Flip + 33) she was Brixed with the rest of the crew on Tuesday. She had a drink of plain water on Sunday and a Growth Energy drench yesterday, 5 ml of Energy and 0.5 ml of Tea, one gallon of water, split between the saucer and the top. I'm really liking the results from this watering schedule, limiting the volume they recieve to just enough. It's accelerating the schedule and the plants respond well to the sense of living on the edge. I mean look at her.

She's still throwing out copious amounts of new pistils.

A well-behaved specimen. These are so easy to grow, once I got the pest problems under control. I keep a watchful eye, coming into the cooling season. She's gonna give me a nice supply of healing oil. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

Next up, the youngins.

Weekly Update: The Shelf - Friday, May 5, 2017

It took me this long to realize it was May 5th.

  Happy Cinco de Mayo!!!

My newest space is filling up quickly. :laughtwo: The older girls got their Brix foliar with everyone else on Tuesday.

IMG_635610.JPG

CBD Critical Cure 2.1.1 (Day 33) She's just quietly building her strength for what lies ahead. I can almost hear roots taking hold. Lol!

Carnival 4 (Day 35) My happiest Carnival to date. This one oozes potential. I'm gonna try hard not to rush her.

IMG_636210.JPG

Nice, healthy growth starting to develop.

IMG_636414.JPG

When I started this pictorial there was no movement. By early this afternoon that had changed.

IMG_636014.JPG

IMG_638917.JPG

My pot was already to go, but dry as a bone. My method is to gently wet it to overflowing, using tap water, letting any dust wash away. Then I drain it completely and plant.

IMG_639116.JPG

IMG_639214.JPG

I water with pH-corrected until it starts to overflow again. She's back in her spot under the lights, sitting 8" away.

IMG_639412.JPG

Look at that sweet sight. I just doubled my hempy exposure. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

One more space to cover. :ciao:

Weekly Update: The Tiny Closet - Friday, May 5, 2017

The girls are both Day 75, and nowhere ready to slow down. They got Brixed on Tuesday and got a Transwater drench yesterday, 3/4 gallons of water with 1.5 ml of Transplant and 0.15 of Tea, split evenly between top and bottom. Thank you Doc for helping me nail this part of growing with the kit down. :hugs:

Dark Devil Auto 6

She's starting to change to her autumn dress. :cheesygrinsmiley: This one is showing me how much she didn't appreciate me messing up the drench schedule and giving her that Energy drench just after the second CAT. Thankfully, this appears to be the only damage incurred.

IMG_63669.JPG

IMG_636710.JPG

Still loads of new pistils at every watering.

IMG_63689.JPG

Her profile makes my heart go pitter-pat. :laughtwo:

Isnt she beautiful? I'm completely enthralled, and find myself strolling over here frequently to stand and admire them. This open closet is my favorite part of the entire grow.

And that's the nickle tour folks. Thank you so much for stopping to share the joy. Growing is its own type of joy, and the ability to share that experience is one of the greatest benefits of this site. I'm glad to have this opportunity to invite you into my garden. I hope I made it worth the stop. Can't get enough of them myself, as you can plainly see. :laughtwo:

I didn't see any mention of mites, did you finally get them under control?

We try not talk about the Borg out loud COGrower. :laughtwo: Yes, it appears I found a way to eliminate them. The plants never came out of the tents and I never went into the tent with mites without changing clothes, or working nude and then showering head to toe, including washing the hair every time. When I harvested I carefully washed them, focusing on the least potential spreading of mites and their eggs and then turned it all into oil the day I harvested, eliminating any chance of a stray egg being dropped while drying.

Then I scrubbed the tents down three times before moving anything into them.

It worked. No signs of any mites in any of my spaces. May the canna gods bless me with continued uninhabited grows.

I am embarrassed to admit how little I know about my latest charge. I've explained how the universe brings things I desire to me, speed of delivery depending on how easily I've let it come in, and this seed was one such gift. Tead grows one, which is how I came to lust for one, and how it ended up in a hempy pot, so I'll ask him tomorrow. I can't tell you with confidence the name of the specimen. I wanted it because Tead grew them so pretty it was irresistable and to stumble upon the seeds was fortune I couldn't pass up.

I find I've misplaced my notes. If I ever mention that I'm thinking of reorganizing my papers, someone reach through the screen and slap me on the back of my head. You wouldn't believe the things I can't find.

She deserves the dignity of a family history and a proper name. Rather than screw it up I'll wait until I know for sure. I promise I'll know more by tomorrow. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

I came home just in time to free her from the membrane, which came off easily with a drop of water and a couple toothpicks.

IMG_640011.JPG

She's busy getting the leaves out there.

Welcome little one

Is it too late to subscribe m'lady? I will just find a seat way at the top of the amphitheater!

Good morning Shiggity. :hugs:  You come right down here onto the stage my friend. I knew you'd get here eventually. :laughtwo: You see I had to start cutting them off around 500 pages. Lol! We do have some fun in this yard, don't we guys? :battingeyelashes:

Good morning everyone:love:

It's a delightfully wet and dreary day out there. :laughtwo: A good day to stay in and do Callanetics. :cheesygrinsmiley: In the spirit of sharing joy I brought a treat. The link is to my most recent post on my Spot.

The Oldest Known Melody

It's not so much the melody I wanted to share, but the comments section below it. I don't often scroll through the comments on YouTube, but for some reason with this one I did. You'll thank me as you try to pick yourself up off the floor with aching sides. :laughtwo:

Every time I see a pic like this, I want to drop a worm in their mouth...gives them quite a sentient appearance

The 2017 Health Summit at Green Flower Media kicks off in just over ten minutes. Can't link it and play by the rules, but you all know how to Google. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Im hoping to catch some of that today. Hope I didnt miss Bas Rutten!

Good morning everyone.

You haven't missed him J. :cheesygrinsmiley: He's scheduled for 2:10 this afternoon, PST. You still have a chance to catch the panel on why cannabis is a big deal for athletes.

The girls wanted to say hello too on this bright and beautiful Sunday. We haven't had clear skies here in a week. I was beginning to wonder if I'd somehow transported to Seattle. :laughtwo: A good day for a brisk walk along the river.

She's an UltraDog, the ultimate result of a convoluted breeding path that started with lembatoast in California breeding an original clone only OG Kush to M.K. Ultra to make Ultra OG. Other breeding projects resulted in TOAST's own Aurora Ultra. Then came the introduction of male pollen of a NYC Deisel that TOAST proclaimed "the most symmetrical plant" he'd ever seen. This is where things got convoluted and the strains got mixed, but seeds eventually found there way to Conradino in Italy, who crossed them with a couple landraces he was growing at the time and we have Ultra Dog. You can bet, if this one turns out to be a female, I'll keep these genetics going.

She looks happy to be among us. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:
