SweetSue's Perpetual 2.0 - The Transition To Doc Bud's HBB Kit

Have I told you lately how tempting that offer is? :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs: I miss the hell out of you. :kisstwo: When I move from here it's to NOLA. Just waiting for the stars to line up.

I don't blame you. NOLA is like my second home. No legal marijuana there but I believe they just approved medical, although im betting the law will be convoluted to keep the red tape flowing. E is tinkering with idea of moving to Colorado anyways. That much closet if it happens.

:hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

Colorado, eh? That's where I'm ultimately headed. :slide:

Yup.... we're a community devoted to keeping traditions alive.... we care not their merit.

The "medical marijane" is currently limited to some sort of canna pills in the pharmacy as growing has not developed yet. But I hear tell that whatever product makes it to market will be mostly devoid of the entertaining bits.

I'm back Sue, thanks for the sweet message. I will respond to your letter on my journal soon. I'm all caught up in your journal too. I just love going out and my head is fuzzy from the high, not from the brain. Then the sun shines on my forehead and I swear the sun rays are hugging my brain.

I read your memory about keeping your love sedated with meds, it's like I'm watching my future, but not. I have got to get on those capsules, it just seems so far away. I haven't even reached a harvest of capsule potential cause I haven't had a light to reach that. It sounds like I'm well on my way to reach those common goals because I know I can get there, it's just slow for me. I know I'm close enough to start learning about oils though;)

Happy to see the light again, you ;)

Freaking Gment! They don't want us to be healthy AND have a good time. It's one or the other.

They don't want you having a good time. :laughtwo: It's freakin' awesome how livid uneducated people get when they talk about THC and the need to control its access and doses. Geez...... Give it up already. It's hard to believe that any government official not living under a rock can step out and pronounce with authority that the drive to legalize medical cannabis is fueled by people's desire to get high. I mean, really? In 2017 you can feel comfortable saying crap like that?

Limiting doses is a bold admission that you don't have a clue as to how cannabis is dosed in the real world and how it interacts with the ECS. In all likelihood we have politicians writing policy and making it law that don't even understand what the ECS does.

And anyway, what's so bad about euphoria? The body makes its own form of THC and when you run that's the high you get. Shall we outlaw running? :laughtwo: Fundemental Christianity breeds a special kind of beast that fears change and shuns anything that lets you feel good. A good portion of those people keep getting elected to office. We need to find ways to stop that from happening.

Stepping down from the soapbox. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Meh!
One would naturally suspect the alcohol lobby has a hand in it as well. I'm certain they view it as competition.

In states that went recreational, as well as states that just went medical, but actually have programs up and running, alcohol sales are beginning to suffer. I'd bet you're right. Alcohol use, sedatives, anti-depressants, opiods - all of them are dropping in use as cannabis becomes more widely available. When hemp rises again we're going to see major industries rupture, if they don't adapt quickly.

There's a lot of money going to shift. This ride will be interesting, to say the least. I'm gonna smile real big the day we realize that CBD administration is a first-line treatment for head trauma in emergency rooms all across the country. Those days are ahead. I have no doubt about it. It may not be pretty getting there, but get there we will.

Ive read many articles on marijuana helping opioid addicts quit the needle, and as a former heroin addict i feel like that alone should be reason to legalize it, if for nothing else to curb the opiate addiction we suffer in the US, all my high school friends have OD'ed or are in jail and I'm only 29, its insane and we should take better measures against it other then methadone and suboxone (government heroin). Just my thoughts on the subject.

We the people Sue!!! We have the power. We just have to exert it. Now pass that over here please. Hehe:volcano-smiley:

Puritans hating anyone anywhere having a good time. It's one of my favorite soapboxes - happy to share it with you :)

I don't share your optimism. After watching it for 40+ years, I see little hope of this changing during my lifetime.

Need me to pee in your coffee too?

I talked with R. Keith Stroup, founding member of NORML, at Boston Hempfest in 2012. This was a couple of years after Massachussetts Decriminalization, and right before the vote on Medical Marijuana. Looking at all the 'kids' around us, we couldn't help but reflect on the marijuana law changes since we were that age. He was crying tears of joy as he said, "I never expected to see this much change in my lifetime - never!"

Your skepticism has good company - but it won't stop the world from changing :)

High Sue :passitleft: hope ya don't mind me dropping this in here but you get waaaay more traffic than me. We have a new member here growing some fine plants and nobody but me watching them grow. Can we show him a little 420 magic?

Thank you for the link. That was a fun read. I'm gonna stick it out with him for a while. :hugs:  :hugs:

So happy to see you out and about again GTHM. :hugs::hugs::hugs:

Infused oils can be made much easier than concentrated cannabis oils, and you'll get there. At least now you have hope for some real healing to begin. My big problem with the pharma drugs is they treat symptoms. As valuable as that can be, it makes much more sense to me if we also create an atmosphere that encourages cellular healing and homeostasis, which is what the endocannabinoid system is designed to do. Cannabis fuels your healing system with molecules that delightfully fit the receptors on your cell walls and offer the signals that promote homeostasis.

I'm holding to the hope that migraines will be a thing of the past for you. I know it's possible, and I'll give you everything I have to help you find your way there. :battingeyelashes:

They keep pushing the synthetics, despite prominent scientific data to suggest that whole plant meds are so superior in effect and efficacy that there's no true comparison. It's a way for them to feel they're being progressive without actually being so. We p, the voting public, need to learn to hold those ties to the fire.

It becoming the clarion call for legalization that opiods kill, but cannabis doesn't. How sad, on one level, that it takes this type of suffering before people pay attention. Look at the veterans, killing themselves at an astronomical rate. Cannabis is the only option available to hat treats all seven symptom clusters without side effects, and yet the state of Arizona went out of their legislative way to keep studies on finding the best strains and methods of administration officials o help veterans specifically buried so deep they thought the researchers would never get themselves dug out.

It shouldn't take ten years to get approval for this testing and research. How many of those soldiers we say we care so much about do we sacrifice before we start holding our elected officials responsible?

I don't share your optimism. After watching it for 40+ years, I see little hope of this changing during my lifetime.

Don't worry, your skepticism is understandable, but change is inevitable. It's the way of the universe. Things work out for everyone in time. The cat's out of the bag and she's growing claws and won't be forced back into that sack. As soon as the "data" they keep telling us is not there materializes you won't be able to play the smoke and mirror game anymore. This plant has so much healing potential that the world will be shocked that it was suppressed for so long. Karma's gonna bite some people in a big way before the dust all settles.

We the people Sue!!! We have the power. We just have to exert it. Now pass that over here please. Hehe:volcano-smiley:

Vos Dominari, after all ...

No it won't. Change is coming, and once it starts in earnest they'll be no slowing it down. The international research community is so far ahead of us it's frightening, but I have great hope, because we have this incredible energy in the US, and our researchers are perched on the edge, just waiting for the green light. It's picked up enough momentum that the industry is beginning to set into motion its own banking arm. This move is one of the best indicators that the momentum has irrevocably shifted in our favor, clown in the White House and his aides notwithstanding.

A friend sent me a picture of a bumper sticker that reads "When you elect a clown, expect a circus". He brought us a golden age of comedy, if nothing else other than the suffering he takes such glee in perpetuating. He's a temporary gnat. Let's do better next cycle. God, I detest politics. What made me think I could live in a world of news? :laughtwo:

Good morning everyone

Caught myself off guard and went to bed at 9 PM last night, then slept until 6:30. Whoa! Don't remember sleeping that long in ages. I wonder if it's the concentration of THC in the breakfast smoothies. I went to bed earlier the first night too. Hmmm..... Let's see what happens today. I have two more doses of the mix.

On to another day filled with joy and wonder. Ready to play with the cosmos? Good, that's an attitude that draws the delights of the universe into your daily experience. Have fun with it. Life is supposed to be fun. It's supposed to feel good, and the choice is always yours. Get out there..... Spread that joy. Watch how satisfying it feels at the end of the day. Then get up tomorrow and do it all again.

Isn't life sweet? :cheesygrinsmiley:

Sue please pardon my ignorance on this but....

I get migrianes once or twice a month, and find vaping Cannabis to be ineffective. I treat it with an eletriptan called Relpax. It's a non narcotic non habit forming supposedly "safe" pill. It's also the last pill I'm taking and pretty expensive. Are you suggesting that CCO rather then simply infused oil might treat it? Taken orally?

Thanks,

Thanks,

We're all starting off ignorant with cannabis J. I'm suggesting that capsules made with an infused oil will effectively treat migraines. Use a strain that has a 1:1 or 1:2 THC:CBD ratio. I use 100 grams dry bud and 2 TBS of liquid sunflower lecithin for every 500 ml of oil. I've used a number of methods to infuse the oil, and all have been successful at knocking down the migraines my daughter used to get daily. Vaping didn't relieve them in the way that capsules did. Capsules stopped them within a couple days of beginning the regimine. They stopped her panic attacks too, and made her anxiety something she could control for the first time in her life.

As you can tell, I'm a big fan of a capsule regimine. If you were treating something life-threatening like cancer, I'd heartily recommend CCO capsules and be walking you through our BioBomb capsule process. For most ailments an infused oil will more than suffice.

We do this all the time in the study hall. There's so much healing going on there and on Cajun's thread it's often breathtaking.

Thank you so much Sue. I plan to try this with some of my first harvest, and hopefully for ever. Thank you!!!!!

My pleasure J. Healing is what we encourage here. Cannabis is our favorite healing tool. :cheesygrinsmiley:
