SweetSue's Perpetual 2.0 - The Transition To Doc Bud's HBB Kit

Those Malawi leaves are super sweet, Sweet Sue.:cheertwo:

Yes they are keltic. :slide: She's bound to challenge me in new ways. Lol! Neiko had a hell of a time containing the mother. I'm such a glutton for this kind of curious growing. You'd think I'd settle down at some point and work on a set group. Every time I think I'm close to that the universe shows up with some new enticement.

Warning - I'm out right now, but before I left I knocked over the hempy Dark Slide we all love and she wasn't looking too happy when I had to leave. I have her propped up and I'm hoping she pulls through. If not I'll drop another seed tomorrow. I'll post a picture when I get back home.

Yeah.... she's not gonna make it.

I'll drop a new seed tomorrow. This time I'll try using a solo cup hempy.

Oh no! Poor girl.

Wait?!?! What happened to that one? Did it get cooked?

She got knocked over in a difficult fashion and it snapped something in the stem, below the surface. Life is a big science experiment, and I just learned how unstable the 2 ltr bottles can be. I have plenty more seeds to plant.

I went looking for some new containers and found these half price.

IMG_92101.JPG

I'll start another seed in a solo cup and transplant into one of these. Less chance of knocking it over, and at 8" deep I know it'll wick the reservoir the way I want it to.

Me, too. Although, LA, you and PWise inspired me to give cloning a go, given your successful forays. So I've got a few taken from some flowering plants. I'm also trying re-vegging a few plants with their top two thirds of buds already chopped off - Dooski inspired me there.
Ase and the terrific Scrog frame he's constructed has encouraged me to give that DIY project a go.
And SweetSue...just inspired me to take a walk around the lake on my street - where I saw 5 tiny baby swans (cygnets?) with their two fiercely protective parents posturing around them.
So...accumulatively, you've all inspired me to start a journal sooner rather than later - to pay it forward and hopefully inspire...someone to do...something!

Be aware that when I revegged the bottom 1/3 of a plant it took slightly over 60 days to start growing new leaves. I do seem to have saved the genetic, so it was worth it :)

Oh! Those containers are looking amazing!

Ah yes. Can't tell you how many I've bumped, shaken, sloped, or otherwise spilled. Little bits of perlite everywhere in my world. Don't usually kill one doing it, but I can certainly see how it can happen. I ended up using square pieces of wood as bases for the 2Ls (Weas's butt plates!). They get really unstable as the plant mass up top gets significant.

I used red buckets for many years that look very similar in size and shape to your new pots. I'm sure they'll work out great for you. Even they can get a bit tippy with a big plant up top so don't think you're completely safe... but you get the idea.

I'll be much more conscious in the future. This was just a freak accident, and thank goodness I have no lack of marvelous seed options to replace her.

As suspected, it snapped off below the surface.

Poor thing didn't stand a chance.

Something happier to start the day, shall we?

OMG, does it smell amazing in this tent!!!

The debutants coming up behind. :battingeyelashes:

IMG_92152.JPG

Almost there. A couple more days and everyone in here will be in bloom too. :slide:

IMG_92165.JPG

Good morning everyone

Time to roll myself out of the bed and into the steamy shower, get this day rolling. The stomach just started growling. I neglected to remember to eat dinner yesterday, and it's caught up with me. Lol!

It's Saturday, Wake 'n Bake with pigeons will be live stream today. :yahoo: we were in the middle of a pleasant YouNow broadcast last night, having a conversation while he trimmed his recent White Widow harvest into the jars when a monitor dropped by to inform him that on camera drug use or paraphernalia was forbidden. obviously not the outlet we were hoping for, when a legal patient can't be seen having anything to do with his medicine.

We have a long way to go to gain the respect the plant deserves and leave this sense of cannabis shame in the dirt. In pigeons case, he just got his live stream priveledged back from YouTube, so the sting was softened. What is everyone so afraid of with cannabis? I've wondered that my entire adult life.

We'll, my friends, let me offer my daily encouragement that you let the cosmos know you're ready to play. Fire up the joy and share it with everyone you meet. Bet you get some surprises along the way. :battingeyelashes: I have a long list of things I hope to accomplish today, none of which will get anywhere until I get my butt off this iPad and into that calling shower.

I'll catch up in a bit. See you then. :ciao:

....... Ok, one more pretty picture. :cheesygrinsmiley:

A shot across the canopy of Devil's Carnival.

Good morning! :hugs:

The debutantes are absolutely gorgeous! Sorry to see what happened to your lovely Dark Side, though. The 2L had me afraid that I would do something like that, so I went with a 3 gal mop bucket. :laughtwo: Your solution for a bigger pot is much more attractive.

:woohoo: All ready for Pigeon's Wake 'n Bake. :slide:

Just arrived. Mango Haze, regular seeds. :slide:

Ahhh...... life is sweeter than sweet. Let me get out along the river and appreciate the beauty of nature for a time. I'm feeling particularly loved at the moment. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

hey,,,,wait,,,,,what,,,,another burg guy in the house???

Sue, I attended the job fair the other day in mckeesport. a waste of time.
you need to apply on line, the job fair was all about the company pure penn and the electrical union, security...

The majority of the people there, around a thousand+, were over 40, if not over 50. about 50/50 on the male female turnout at a glance.

The only guy I saw them interview was some old hippie looking guy. Why not a man or woman in dress clothes. I might have been the only guy with shorts and a t-shirt, lol

That's one long drive for me though. took me 40 to get there and 60 to get back, most of it stop and go traffic.

Yes another burgh guy is here! I met sweet sue earlier on pigeons420 channel.

I spent an hour the first time and then hit "cancel" before I saved it. Let me post this before I glitch again and send it into oblivion a second time. :laughtwo: Time for an update. :cheesygrinsmiley:
