SweetSue's Perpetual 2.0 - The Transition To Doc Bud's HBB Kit

USMC. I was stationed down off Poland and Dauphine St (I think thats how its spelled). I did a whole lot of running down through NO. We used to run from the NSA all the way down and around the Superdome every Friday....11 to 13 miles depending on the route. I don't miss that heat and humidity, but man do I miss the food!!

I worked in the old Poland St. facility. Still had all the horse rings for tying up the carts while loading. The facility moved across the river to the Navy/CG area over in Algiers. I was working in the Poland St. building when we moved across the river to the new "Federal City" facility.
Man... that BBQ joint ("The Joint") outside the front gate on Poland was awesome. Good BBQ can be rare in the Cajun territory. They moved down the road some on Dauphine after the base closed, but they've been a rock when I need a rack 'o ribs. So many good places to eat in this city.

Bring it on down when you feel the need to visit the haunts of your past.... or just get ur drunk on... whatever. We'll cruise over to The Joint and get some good ribs!

Is the NSA still there? I know there is the base across the river on the west bank and then of course the Air Station out at Bell Chase. I assume they are still there as well?

:laughtwo: Yeah.... Go ahead, call me crazy. I'm good with the label. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Good... that will help. Insanity has it's pluses.

I place the tags directly above the drain hole to make it easier to align it over the sink. I water at the sink and let the runoff run down the drain. Easy-peasy, made easier by that visual cue.

And may I say, everytime I pluck a hempie from the tent and trot down the hall with it, holding it up so I can inspect it as I walk, I smile in contentment that I met you Tead, and that you've had such a profound and positive effect in my life. :hugs:

What scares you about the ring of brown left by the Rapid Rooters?? Do you have concerns there that I'd be well-advised to prepare for? I'd intended to try starting a seed directly in the perlite, and I may do just that this weekend, but I forgot with these.

It's the color that bothers me. I know it's not soil, but brown stuff in one of my pots would be a very bad sign... so it throws me. You stay with what's working in your world.
I line up my tags or writing with the drain holes too... great minds and all.

:laughtwo: I know..... Sadly, not the first, nor possibly the last plants to be abused at my hand. Look at them keep working at pleasing me though. The ones coming up behind will be healthier. :green_heart:

I'm in the same boat. The 2Ls really show it hard. Larger pots seem to be a touch more heat tolerant, but nothing good happens at 106f.
2Ls really consume leaves hard as they mature. A logical Tead thinks it has to do with just less mass in the rootzone to fully feed the girls and they hit the leaves harder than larger plants.
And it should be noted... often the 'challenged' plants can yield the best herb.

All my plants are challenged, most of the time.this must be why my buddy says my smoke is normally better than his. :laughtwo:

I'll be using 2ltrs as starter pots from now on. They're easier to get out. Lol! I think I'll stick with vinegar bottles and trash cans for transplant.

Thank you for that reminder. I often forget these things. :hugs:

Oh....don't mind if I do Mr Am4zin. :passitleft:

I just stopped to drop a couple nice shots of the buds on UltraDawg. She's just at the beginning of Flower and she's already frosty as hell.

They remind me of the Afghani. :battingeyelashes: That's the smell that's ringing my memory cells too. I just figured it out. :laughtwo:

Its Hempy H2O day, so I had them out for watering. The Carnival in the background weighs twice what the Candy Cane weighs. :slide:

A extra-special addition to the seed bank. I've desired these ever since Slow Toke grew them so brilliantly. Thank you, my magical companion. :kisstwo:

I ran BD for about 4 years and managed to loose the strain about a year ago. At least in the Albuquerque area it has probably been the number one strain for growers the last three years. You will enjoy growing it.

Thanks Canyon. :hugs: I think I'll plant one this weekend. :dreamy:

She had her first Growth Energy drench today and it woke her right up. Lol!
