I did a bunch of transplanting last night. The Amsterdam girls, the two clones I cloned, and the Tangamanga and Ref Afro that did get moved up with the other mothers. I moved the pretty much dead Pepermint Kush into a new pot with fresh soil also. I am not holding my breath, She's got two little side branches that are green and not dead. I think she's still fighting so I will do all I can to help her out.
The veg tent is looking really good again. I am so happy with the way things are going again. There were a few weeks there where I was really un-stoked about what was going on downstairs. It was very disheartening to see plants that were one day super happy and healthy. In the throws of death the next. The Harlequin and her clone did not make it. Everyone else did make it, though. And they have returned from the brink and are growing once again.
I moved the 8 tallest Thunder Scouts into flower last night. They are quite tall and haven't been topped or trained at all. All training and topping and defol came to a halt whilst I was dealing with the bugs. So moved the 8 tallest into flower. Moving them now should still keep the height manageable. The two tallest actually did get topped about a week ago, so they probably won't get much stretch on top anyway. Fingers crossed for girls
The 8 Thunder children left in veg will get topped and put through some training as well. They will get another 2 months in veg because I think I'll put the rest of the fem seed ladies into flower, that won't be until next month, or the first round of my flower girls finishes up
I will get some clones from a friend in about two weeks or so. Maybe 6 or 8 cuts of 4 strains. Timing should be perfect to have the cuts large enough to continue the cycle.
The Nursery's here in town don't have ladybugs yet, so I ordered some online. For $16 I am getting 1500 ladybugs, some sugar water they like, and a Tansy plant that is supposed to ward off ants and attract ladybugs. Should be here on Thursday
On a side note, Last night I planted 3 white turmeric and 3 yellow turmeric rhizomes. I also planted chives, to act as a companion in the grow space, as well as fennel, and purple ruffle basil. Should be fun in a few weeks
Garden is looking great, the second wave of my first perpetual cycle is underway
Really stoked on the garden at the moment.
I'm gonna snap some pics today while I am giving the fem girls some haircuts and train the Thunders.
Hope all is well in your garden
