What they said^^^^your doing great SweetLeef, hang in there.

quick update...

Everybody got a treatment with diatomaceous earth tonight, just for precaution.

I also moved 9 plants into flower today.

Both Pondo Mystics

Durban Magic

HarleSin

Both Shit's

Tijuana

and 2/3 Tangamanga's (Tulum)

The third Tangamanga didn't get moved up with everyone else, so she will stay in veg a little longer. I'm to sure about the big Pondo, still struggling. we'll hope she can make it through flower.

The final four from the last batch are taking their sweet time, but still progressing.

Here's a quick look at the flower tent. we'll get some more detailed pics soon :)

Thats about it for today. Hope all is well in your garden :)

:thanks: for the update, Sweetleef. Love the flower tent. Must be nice to have a bit of room in there to work around. But not for long, hopefully. :cheesygrinsmiley:

All the best to big Pondo. :thumb:

Thanks guys :)

Got home from work last night, wen to check out the girls and the powerstrip in the flower tent tripped so the girls got about 36 hours of darkness. Light came back on today as it should. I think it tripped because laundry was going on at the same time the lights were to come on. Seems to be more trichs on the GSCxATF girls. No amber what so ever but we are at 100% cloudy.

I got a wild hair and I turned off the veg spectrum on the 1600's. It's super red in there now. Not sure if I should leave it just on the flower spec, but I think I'll give it a whirl for a bit just to see. I've flowered a few plants under the full spectrum and now that I have a few new ones in there I think I can get pretty good idea what's what after these girls flower.

Did a quick rough estimate for the soil I will be building in the future. All prices were gathered online and include shipping. COorganics pointed me in the direction of a place here in my town that has pretty much everything I need to build the soil. I will be calling them tomorrow to get a much better idea on how much this soil will actually cost to build. Buying most everything online and having it shipped to my house will set me back about $420. I'll let you know how much less it will be to buy locally. Either way To make this soil will cost about the same as a round of Super Soil for my current setup. And I will use this stuff over and over and over and over and over. All the while it will continue to improve :) Really stoked to build and use my own soil.

I also sprayed everyone down with a mixture of habanero water a tiny bit of rosemary oil and a drop of soap.

Hope all is green in your garden :) :high-five: :bong:

hey sweet you still using the top led?
you better check with them or the stats on the light I think you might need that veg setting on or the fans aren't on
fyi just in case
if im not mistaken that's what ive been reading about those lights

Thanks Catman! Hope all is good in your neck of the wood.

Hey Skunny,

Yeah red should be fine, I'm just curious if full spectrum will perform better in bloom than the bloom spectrum. In my mind it would make sense, that you'd maybe get more using full spectrum, but I don't know yet. :)

As far as the soil goes, I will be doing a Living Organic Soil finishing in 7gallon "No-Till" pots. I have decided to do a few larger plants instead of a lot of smaller plants. It's really hard to dote on 40 plants :) I took on too much too quick with this grow. Someday I will definitely be able to handle this load, but I think it would have been smarter to start with like 4 strains and then build my way up to 21 :) I just love popping beans though.

Anyway, The soil I'm building is the same recipe used by COorganics and a few other's from what Mr. Teddy refers to as the LOS Mafia. Clackamas Coot's soil recipe. It should give me much better yield then the Supersoil and the quality should be markedly improved. I think I will get from 2 plants in 7gal LOS the same as I would from 6 in 3gallons. I will be utilizing more aerated compost teas enzyme teas and some other stuff, but I won't be using any bottles or ph's no meters or gauges. besides my temp/rh gauge.

I'm still planning on veggie for 2 months. I think we'll do seedling/clones in solos, #1's and then into the final pot for a week or two and then into flower. I'm going to start the off flowering 4 plants 2 each of a different strain to get an idea what I can expect and from there I can decide to add another plant or two.

Just found out that the zoo is giving away "Zoo Doo" I'm thinking Elephant, giraffe, hippo, and rhino dung might be really cool stuff to have in a worm farm. It will be tough to make it out there on a Saturday, but it'll be worth it if I can make it work, I think.

Anyway I better get ready for work. :bong:

Have a great day everyone :high-five:

Careful, though sweet, ya gotta look into it. Horses for example are often fed a deworming agent so they don't get worms. Even if they do use something like this, in a couple years it would be good to go. You could pick it up and let it sit for a while, then use it with worms. Just do a little homework before jumping into using the stuff.

I will definitely look into it. Thanks CO!

It sounds awesome dude, I think you'll do much better with less plants but bigger ones :thumb:

It seems like it may be a more effective way to go about things.

I talked to the people at Concentrates Inc. today and the stuff I priced out online as costing me $420, is going to cost $186.20. That is a huge difference! I may be able to start the soil in March or April instead of April or May!
