SweetLeef's Gone Even More Mas Muy Loco - Perpetual - 4400W TopLED - SuperSoil

I may have to drive a uhaul to concentrates someday.

If you do, you can crash at my place :)

Hello SweetLeaf:circle-of-love:

Hey Sara! Nice to see you around these parts! I know you have a million other journals and growers to deal with so it's much appreciated you made the time to visit my journal :high-five:

Big savings :) :thumb:

Crazy savings! I'm really excited to get things moving in that direction.

So here is what I think.....

It started off with mites, A few of the plants got hit really hard, but started to come back, and then they started to struggle again. The plants haven't really been drinking or seeming to do much growing lately. I have been focusing on the flower girls and not paying much attention to the veg girls the last week or so. No ignoring them, just looking in and seeing that they are still about where they've been and then moving over to the flower tent and puttering around in there. Anyway, tonight was veg ten night. I noticed a lot more gnat action in the soil tonight.

I think the mites had their day but my incessant spraying in the tent for almost two weeks straight took care of them. However it made perfect conditions for the Rise of The Fungus Gnat.

I dipped out to the store and got some paper plates, did some DE on the pots that were dry enough to and then covered then all up with the paper plates. That should definitely knock them back at least a little bit.

The flower girls will get the same treatment tomorrow night. They go to bed much earlier than the veg girls.

Speaking of that I got the idea from Seraphim, to have the flower schedule be 11/13. It's supposed to be the flower schedule in the tropics and supposed to beef up the smell and really bring out the flavors. Seems worth a shot.

Checked the trichomes on the flower girls tonight and still no amber in sight. They should be coming along now though, I just did the math and we are on day 63 since they moved into flower. I'm guessing no less then two weeks before they are ready to come down. Though I hope I am wrong :)

Hope all is well everyone :bong:

You're really going through the pencil sharpener on this one, aren't you! I hope this is the end of the crap and you can start to just enjoy a lush green garden!! Keep up the good work! It is truly appreciated, Sweetleef!

What Magic said, Sweet. Great work and, may I say, well written up. Your posts are a pleasure to read. :thanks:

Love your LOS planning. Funnily enough I was listening to Gardeners' Question Time on BBC radio yesterday and one of the professionals was swearing by her elephant dung from London Zoo.

If it's free from your zoo, then it sounds like they are making you an offer you can't refuse.

Been busy today and will be busy again tomorrow as Monica turns Thirty-One-derful in an hour!!

Thanks Teddy! I'm really excited about the direction this undertaking is headed in. I hope I can make it to the zoo, I may have to call in a favor to get someone to grab it for me, as they give a small window of availability and it's during my work hours, on a day that's tough to get off. I'll figure something out I'm sure :)

Thanks Catman! I fell like the battle has been successful on our end. The spider mites and gnats definitely had a hold on the girls. Thankfully, I spend most of my free time just staring at the plants and was able to catch it just in time. Another day or to and we'd'a had major casualties. We lost one in the flower room and came dangerously close to losing more.

It pleases me that you find my journal informative. I am definitely learning a lot as I do this, I'm very happy that some of that gets filtered into the journal so that you may divine useful information :)

Best of days and buds to you my friend, may you sort your gnat issue asap and with ease! ;)

Thanks light! I think we're coming to the final days here. The paper plates really seem to be helping. I've gotta go back over them and fill in a couple spaces with DE that I missed or became uncovered while I moved them around the room. Then it should only be a matter of a couple weeks before most everyone is gone.

There are some adult buzzing around the plates frantically trying to find a way in. HA HA. Not today asshole!

Not much time to spend in the garden this weekend and even less to spend here. It's Monicas birthday so I've been busing doing that kind of stuff. I will try and sneak in some picture snapping tomorrow, but may not be able to post up until Tuesday.

Hope all is well in your garden. :)

yea some people don't like it cause they set it to notify their email or whatever
I just look at my user cp the only thing goes to my email is pm's
I don't know why most people don't just do it that way
Happy Tokerday for tomorrow :thumb:

The Final Four from the last group are in their final days. The tallest one will come down Saturday after work! The two smallest will come down shortly after that and the middle-tall will be last. They will probably all come down this weekend, but we'll see.

Veg:

Veggies are doing very well compared to a couple of weeks ago. More room in the tent then there has been in some time :thumb:

S.A.G.E. and Burmese Kush have really come to life the last week.

Mt. Hood Magic and Blue Dream are struggling, still, but I think they will pull through.

The two clones I made are starting to take off too! One is a Strawberry Cough, and the other I'm really not sure because the little tag I had placed on the cup fell off and now I'm not sure, that's pretty fun :goof:

Thunder Scouts are going strong as are the larger feminized plants.

Things are really moving along now. In a month I will put the rest of the fem girls in the tent and I will be getting some clones from a buddy to keep the cycle rolling and maybe get some mothers out of the deal.

That's all for today. Hope all is well in your tent :) :high-five:

Yeah it is. I think it's due to all the stress they have been through though.

I'm glad I got a Tangamanga though :thumb:

Also, I know I am taking a chance, but I have the males in a room upstairs from the ladies. They haven't started to open yet, but I plan on harvesting some pollen from each and then ...TO THE JUICER!!!

I will only visit the males once I am completely done for the day downstairs and I will mist myself with water before leaving the room and mist the air outside the doorway coming and going. If this crop isn't 100% sinsemilla, I won't be too heartbroken, but I think we'll be alright :)

The original plant was to take males to my sisters house, but she's got the 1 feminized Harlequin plant we made. We're gonna try again with her and a clone to be taken from her later. I will post a picture of her in a bit, but I have to wait for it to upload from a picture sent to my phone.

Sorry about all those fellas, Sweet. On the upside, those buds in the 'green' photos look delicious.

Happy Scissor-Hash Harvesting! :circle-of-love:
