Spend a decent chunk of time in the garden last night. It was the first time since the bugs hit that I have had the opportunity to sit down with the girls to defoliate and train.
I didn't really realize it until last night, but those bugs not only did a number on my plants, but also on me, to my brain. What I mean by that is burnout. Fighting the bugs gave me a little burnout. All of a sudden it wasn't fun to go downstairs to watch the ladies struggle along, feeling like I'm really unable to do much. Fighting a damn near invisible enemy.
But we have and we shall continue to prevail.
So anyway, I feel like I've turned a corner. I'm feeling much more excited about the direction the grow is taking
There is a slight bummer, I believe 5 of the 8 Thunder Scouts I put in flower almost two weeks ago are turning out to be males. Oh well. I've got 8 more of those and 1 Tangamanga in veg, and then we are finished with regular seeds for a little bit. I think I will decide today if the 5 in question are in fact males, if so I will put a couple upstairs and attempt to once again gather pollen. Although I only got a tiny bit of pollen from 1 of the shit plants, I want to try with the Scouts. I real do love this strain and am very low on seeds from the original batch. The few I shared with Jade and the few I have left are all thats left of these seeds and this plant makes really really good pot. I don't want the world to lose it
Speaking of endangered/hard to come by strains, I successfully rooted and planted 3 clones from the flowering Tangamanga. As well as 3 from the HarleSin
I didn't say anything when I made the cuts because I didn't want to jinx anything. The Tangamanga clones when into dirt a day or two before the HarleSin clones. And the HarleSins have been in the dirt for over 48 hours in this picture.
I believe I will attempt to take a few clones off of two of the other ladies in flower. Durban Magic and the AMS, I think.......
I snapped a couple of other random pictures, but was pretty happy handing out haircuts and super crops to the girls, so I didn't get many, but lets see what we got.
S.A.G.E.
Burmese Kush
Unknown Clone, First successful clone
Unknown Clone with Ladybug hard at work
Strawberry Cough Clone, First Successful clone
Tangamanga, still in veg sex yet to be confirmed, but I'm leaning toward it's a girl. Another week or so should confirm.
So that's where we're at today. Hope all is well in your garden
