Plant look good, do you see any difference at this stage with using DLI than any of your other grows?PURPLE GHOST CANDY DAY 35 FROM FLIP UPDATE
Hi all! Her spookiness is hanging in and making bud! Brought DLI up 2 points today to 36. Also, I've been scheduling top and bottom waters.
Here's those details along with everything else done too.
She's just past full bloom and buds are getting bigger every day!
The pollinated lower bud.
Peace
I also interested in this and how did you you achieve your DLI? Was it by running lower power on your lights and physically closer to your plants or crank the power and raise the lights?Plant look good, do you see any difference at this stage with using DLI than any of your other grows?
I'd keep your powder dry until you need light penetration, like in flower. Saves money on the electric bill and makes your LED drivers last longer.@InTheShed explained to me that there is better light penetration through the entire plant by going that route.
flatulence meets catulenceEver have a day when you just had enough? Make sure sound is on and you can hear!
Who's the victim?
Yes, a little, my leaves on the top colas are flat, not canoed so much and not browned anywhere. I'm expecting terms to be better maybe? I won't know that with this grow because I haven't had PGC yet. It's kind of exciting getting near the finish line. Testing is one of my forte's .

Thanks Bode! Oh yeah the pollen's been thick outside! with those blasts of clouds going by! I have to go slow when it's like this! We think pine is just about over here so you're days away.Highya SO,
Bud pics are gorgeous!! One looked like it was covered in Pine pollen. Yesterday the wind was blowing and yellow dust was coming off the Pine trees in clouds. Everyone has their allergy medicine!! Happy Smokin'
Ok good you think so too! We have an above ground pool. When it's full pollen time I have to change the DE every 2 days or it plugs the filtration up. After pollen season my DE could last the rest of the summer!I am just getting over the pine pollen what a mess.
This one is about a foot over the canopy. I think a foot or a foot and a half is a good place fora light. Getting it up there keeps heat away but you need power to get it right. Lots of today's lights can do that. The one over this plant is 420 watts! Overkill really but when I need it I can have it.I also interested in this and how did you you achieve your DLI? Too close has its issues. Light burn and heat are two. I like Shed's higher and more power theory! Probably deeper penetration too but I won't bet $ on it.I need to make the change in the next couple of days on mine to raise the power on the lights and raise them up in the tent to get my weekly DLI goal. @InTheShed explained to me that there is better light penetration through the entire plant by going that route.
When I had a visit with him he showed me a plant he was grooming for plant of the month! May as well have been plant of the century! Shed, it was in a 10 gallon pot and was 4 feet around, perfectly round and had a canopy flat as if he took shears to it! Must have been 75 + colas! This plant was breathtaking and had nothing tying it up! Later I found it had been devastated by whatever bug he had in his grow area that needed sulfur burning to get rid of so we never got to see it here.. What a talented lad! Those are Van Stank worthy monster colas Otter!
From flip for me, always from flip. One question, in your journal it shows June 15 as day 35 of flower. Is that from flip or from 1st sign of flowering?
Thanks. This grow took me out of my comfort zone and I'm glad!Nice work on managing your water/reservoir BTW, it will be good to know your thoughts on it come harvest.
I thought so, but everyone counts things differently. I like your data, it's really easy tobread at a glance. From flip for me, always from flip.
Old habits die hard. Getting out of the comfort zone lets you cherry pick some stuff to make new old habits withThanks. This grow took me out of my comfort zone and I'm glad!
Gad Zooks no!Be careful tho, if it goes south on you your stash is probably down to under 10 pounds, it could get dicey
Opening the tent is glorious! She is pumping up Looks Good Otter !
