Stonecrusher's Backyard Bonanza - Bringing Out The Big Pots!

Yesterday was a long day of playing with plants. Harvest is great, but its not the finish line so I spent the day chopping, wet trimming, and setting up the drying tent for a good finish.
The little 2x4 (cat piss tent), in the garage is perfect for drying once I set it up with two levels to hang from. I splurged and finally bought the AC Infinity Clougforge T7. Ive had my eye on this for a long time now and just about drove myself crazy deliberating on the purchase. I can say now-it is worth it! It is set up to keep RH at 60% all I need to do is peek in once in a while.

Well done getting SG's harvest in and hanging and I'm really sorry you had to do it alone. I hope the docs do their best and his outcome is way better than anyone expects.
:green_heart:
His plant really has some nice big spears. They are all snug in the tent and already on day 5 out of about 14 into drying at 59% humidity.
Thanks for the kind thoughts ill let him know.

Tent update
I went away few days and the SIPs did great. I topped off the reservoirs and they did fine for four days.
I notice as they plants continue to mature some leaves are lightening up especially the Pineapple Runts.
I've been feeding Bloom nutes every other watering. But this looks a little like Nitrogen deficiency. Should I add a little Veg nutes into the formula or could I be low on Calmag?
Feeding is not my strong suit so advice is appreciated.
Btw these autos are past 10 weeks now and still glassy trichromes. So I thing they will go long and may need a boost

How much N does your cal-mag have?

So far I haven't given Calmag. In fact I have never used it and am thinking I should have some on hand for occasions like this.
But here is what I AM using for every other watering, which means they get it about weekly.

Outside there is one lonely girl left at the dance. She is AK-47 and she is 60% amber. I had to leave her an extra 4-5 days due to life and stuff. I already have SG's AK-47 trimmed and hung, and it has ~20% amber trichromes. This will be a great chance to see if I can tell a difference.
So Ill be chopping her this evening after I take advantage of a nice day to get some chores done.
Later friends.

I'd throw some veg nutes in there because it looks generally under fed. And I dunno about that 2-10-5 stuff with 10% Ca. In the synthetic world that would be pretty sketchy!
Ive got a lot to learn when it comes to feeding and supplements. So far I've gotten along pretty well with a few organic teas and microbes and my kind of organic cannabilized soil. I even made the world's stinkiest brew from weeds and culled pot plants. That stuff worked but dang. The smell
Ill try a little of my Terp Tea veg in the reservoirs and see

High nitrogen plant extracts smell the worst. They do get better with age but never really pleasant. After a few months it'll morph into what I call a "springtime horse barn smell." :cheesygrinsmiley:

Springtime horse barn smell is the kind of perfume my dog goes for when my back is turned. But seriously, I question whether I would want to make that stuff again. I don't think of myself as too sensitive about smells, but this one is up there in the yuck rating.
I would always prefer using organic waste from my yard, but the micronized "organic" nutes seem like a good alternative for the lazy.

Yesterday I added some veg nutes to the reservoirs in addition to the regular bloom nutes and that plant may be looking a little greener already. Ill let you know in a couple of days what happens.

Hi friends,
I trimmed the first of the outdoor harvest thats been hanging for ~14 days in the drying tent. It was the random seed from SG that I didn't believe in. In fact it flowered so late we almost cut it down several times because we thought it wasn't going to. Patience is rewarded with about 4 oz of light, lemony goodness. Smoke test was very positive, nice flavor and completely zooted me. Not rock hard nugs, but not bad for a random seed that I talked shit about.
I haven't gotten into trimming the AK 47 or Chem Dawg 4 yet, and I am anticipating some really nice top shelf nugs.

In the tent..
Here are a couple of pics of the Autos. They still didn't get big so the challenge has not been met. I will continue to search for the strain/grow style that gets me a larger Auto in the next run. Suggestions on strains are appreciated.

Fastbuds mystery seed is getting purpley as the leaves begin to fade, all pistils are brown, but trichs still mostly cloudy.

Ethos Banana Daddy x Jealousy has one football sized cola that is so thick it could be tricky to dry. Pictures don't do it justice, ya gotta feel the girth on this one!

Sweet- Nothin' but bud!👍
You may have to open that one up a little to dry- I worry about the center of the fat colas..

You know Ive been thinking about it. These autos don't produce much. My experience has been 2.5 to 4 oz per plant is what I can expect. While I yearn to grow some bigger plants, the quality of the buds from these is usually really good, and more than 4 oz of buds is almost wasted on me. I cant smoke, cook, give away, or otherwise use more pot than I grow.
I expect to chop the auto tent in the next 8-10 days, assuming I am able to process all the outdoor pot in the drying tent in that time. Ill probably take your advice and open it up a bit. It really is 2-3 times bigger around and thicker than the other plants in the tent.

The purpling is happening! I really like purple strains. They just give that extra little something during the grow as they morph from green to purple. Since this was a mystery seed from a Fastbuds 5 pack I had no notion of what this one would do.
Im awarding some points to the Fastbuds/Home Depot team for the transformation.
Still clear trichs on all 4 autos in the 2x4 tent. We are getting close to 90 days...Im waiting already!

We are getting close to 90 days.
😁🤏...my last one went 91....Man, those are some sweet buds on those ladies-
Something cool about (most) autos- doesn't matter if they're a foot tall, or 5 feet tall, they're going to do their absolute best in the bud dep't...- (we need a fat bud emoji 😁)

I have to agree on the sweetness of the autoflower buds. My favorite strain so far has been Banana Purple Punch from Fatstbuds from last winters indoor grow. It only had 3.5 oz dried flower, but it was a winner.

If you think about it the smaller plants are less work to dry, cure, and trim so my relationship with the finished buds is friendlier.

I'm in the middle of trimming a mountain of outdoor harvest (3 hangers at a time since that is about all I can take). I know there are some great buds there too since Ive tested it all. But my drying tent seems like Narnia. There is no end to what comes out of there!! I even bought a few more trimmers to get some extra hands involved.

And @Grand Daddy Black should note that they are Manly trimmers.
